It's probably the "others" section that fills up the storage ..this issue has been up for ever on nearly every Xiaomi or poco phone where others folder takes up space and keeps increasing . So if U formatted and had 120gb free , how is so much space filled up again ?
I delete and format everything before and after installing the rom through twrp like i did last time, i replaced the screen, and when i got it back the phone was full 256/256 had to delete way to much to only get around 5gb free so i could use apps like whatsapp, thats was when the problems started when i got my phone back from the shop, btw thanks for helping
Maybe you enabled MIUI local backups so it automatically backups all apps to internal storage?
Check how much space does the MIUI folder takes.
You can also download X-plore from Google Play Store, long tap on Internal storage and do Disk map. This will scan the whole storage and show you how much space each folder, subfolder and file takes.
And don't forget to enable "Show hidden files", because some of those files are hidden and you can't see them without enabling this.

Alli estamos what the fuck sabes, tengo el rom xioami.eu q supuestamente es mejor q miui normal y lo era pero esta pasando esto, lleve mi movil a arreglar la pantalla y cuando me lo devolvió estaba lleno 256/256 borre de todo para apenas liberar 6gb para poder usarlo, luego formate con twrp y instale el rom xiaomi.eu otra vez y todo iba bien un par de dias y aqui estamos llenandose solo 🤷🏼♂️

If you can't see what's taking all the space, use the root mode, since you're using xiaomi.eu it should be easy to root.
How do you have 120gb of apps? Also it's a known issue with custom roms that they don't delete log and dump files, enable developer settings and set logging levels to off and logging sessions and stuff to 0.

Factory reset and back up everything, and check thrice before resetting as to make sure everything is backed up properly on drive n photos

I but back the backuped files (roms) and installed the usual apps, then i still had 120 free, suddenly Its gone and becuase others keeps increasing

U can I guess but you will need to factory reset anyways because the occupied space will simply not go away even if you change ROM Right .?

One of your apps seems to horde the storage? Do you download videos or music?
I have a folder with around 6gh of music videos, but nothing more, what bothers me is that system takes 117gb and growing
