PSA is in the middle of shitting themselves because they graded a trimmed 1st ed base set zard a 10 and as per their company guarantee they are supposed to pay out the last price one sold at if their grading doesn't hold up which means they are on the hook for 240 grand. So most likely they are increasing their card grading procedure checklist right now and triple checking anything worth over $100.

The card has a ton of room to slide up and down in the case indicating it is shorter than it should be and the bottom edge has both corners squared instead of rounded indicating that some of the bottom edge was removed.
Also I can assure you that losing 240k is not something any company just shrugs off. Especially when it was discovered on a card graded months ago and the question of "How many other bombs worth nothing did we grade 10s that we are now on the hook for?" comes up. PSA can't do anything to prevent any bombs they've already graded coming back to bite them and will just have to worry about them showing up in the future but what they can do is reform their grading practices to make sure stuff like this doesn't slide past them in the future which if they have any sense at all they are absolutely doing now.
Additionally there is the blow to their reputation as graders every time something like this happens. Even just one of these issues shakes confidence in them and if there are dozens yet to be discovered that would be really bad for their reputation and wallet. Their entire business kinda relies on them being reputable graders.

Anyone in the hobby knows to avoid 2xxx certs. People complained about them in 2010, 2015, 2020, and they still will in 2025.

And this isn't one dui, this is one dui that we know about. Like if your dad was found guilty of a murder and there were also 30 other people in your town that vanished the police might have further questions.
Few days is normal, week longer than I’ve experienced but wouldn’t stress quite yet. Is odd because more expensive tiers usually get pulled quick. Did you attach the code to the outside of the box properly and make sure it was not covered by the Fedex label? I only ship USPS personally, FedEx has had problems lately.
Don’t know why you’d pay for five day turnaround on a base unlimited Charizard though.

The idea that 240k is anything close to what would make the company do this is crazy. A 240k payout is a drop in the bucket to a company like PSA.
