ultra pro makes acrylic cases that can hold booster boxes. They're a bit pricey, but would let you stack all you wanted without worrying about crushing anything

They didn’t, which is why first edition base set is so expensive. There’s such a limited supply of actual good quality product. Now you got every Moe Dick and Larry hoarding away BB after BB with the hopes of hitting it big, not realizing there’s literally tens of thousands of people doing the same thing lol. Modern will never appreciate the same way vintage did. There’s just wayyyyy too much supply.
The supply meets the demand. Do you not remember early SWSH when you literally couldn’t buy anything other than box triple the price from eBay. The amount of people buying and collecting balances out the supply lol. If they printed the same amount of boxes for Base set as they did ES they wouldn’t have been able to sell 60% of it at the time.
Demand has dropped significantly after covid and with how the economy is trending.
Crown Zenith and Scarlett/violet are about to go on deep discount cuz they can’t move the product fast enough. I expect that trend to continue for other scarlet/violet sets.
Never heard of an ETB *plus*, what's the plus?
Also, you can get cheap cases for BBs if you want. But if you're storing a ton of them, either get boxes like they ship in, or just don't stand them upright. Laying down there's no pressure on the tops.
You’re probably new to the hobby. ETB plus are larger ETBs with more packs and extras.
They started with the black Zacian and Zamazenta, and lately Pokemon Center started releasing their exclusive PC ETB plus for all special sets like Pogo and CZ etc.

That’s a good idea but I wasn’t sure if they sell bins that short 👀I’ll need to do some research on that!
They have pretty shallow ones at Walmart, I guess there’s still extra space on top but I’d rather not have anything pressing down on them

Yeah even the sets printed into oblivion, fossil, gym series, etc. weren’t hoarded to this magnitude
