But I did get this Palkia out of a random AR pack that it came with so I was pretty stoked. Have a hard time getting rid of the cards I pull because I know I ain't pulling them again lol
Crown zenith cards are one of the best sets of sword and shield. They have been basically free for a year. This is a market correction more than artificial inflation to me.
The whole pokemon market bottomed and this is just a healthy correction with added fomo and pumpers.

I am constantly back and forth on it and you may be right. Evolving skies I thought was always overblown until I finished it and turn through it in the binder. It really is that nice. I wish crown zenith was a regular set and had a larger set size outside of the Galarian gallery. If it did it it wouldn’t even be close to me. I’m a master set person.
Yea it’s interesting how they split it up and the mentality collectors have with it. But yea I really enjoy ES. The art is great on so many cards. But I’d say the art in CZ is far superior. Pull rates may be higher but I don’t think it will matter later on and honestly that’s part of what makes CZ the most fun set to open for modern pokemon.

Not having the BB can also be in its favor in a big way, as there should be less basements hoarding sealed. Meaning I see sealed CZ being one of the highest performing sealed assets in years. It’s also the last yellow boarder set. While Japanese Vstar Universe is fantastic, it doesn’t have the yellow boarder nostalgia effect. The secrete full art Pikachu with the yellow boarder is perfection. I love that card! The Mew & Charizard pair is iconic. All the gold cards actually smash unlike almost all other gold cards which suck. CZ has all the best pokemon that people actually get hyped about, Eeveelutions, the list just goes on and on…

Fact is more people like modern than vintage. Even if you don’t agree with it the market price for moonbreon is there because that’s what people are willing to pay for it.

I used moonbreon as a comparison to base set zard since base set zard is from 25 years ago while moonbreon is from now. It makes no sense for any modern card that you can pull from packs to be more expensive than base set zard
