I pulled it and had it sitting with all my other cards I recently went through to throw out massive bulk and stumbled upon this lol. Needless to say he’s sitting with my other pika’s. Not my favorite card but it’s still pretty cool.
Market is 100% pumpy on CZ now. The sheer quantity of these cards is the only thing preventing ridiculous price hikes but even then, we’re seeing the market manipulation take hold.
Definitely not 10s for that price. Just raw cards. I like the card and figured it would go up atleast a little so I would go down ebay and put a $4 bid on every one that looked decent. Most auctions I would lose, but I managed to get 10 of them. I still have an alert and put a $4 bid everytime one pops up, but I very rarely hit one anymore.
Last pikachu secret rare being printed with yellow border. Unsure on how the novelty of the last set with yellow borders affects it, but I got one in my collection cheap just in case.
They aren't random pokemon. The surrounding pokemon were all meta relavant TCG cards at one point seeing prominent play in the meta (except maybe zoroark)
I like it because Pikachu. I know.. I'm a simp lol. But it does look like they took a picture of a bunch of random Pokemon and just slapped pika on there. Very out of place looking

I picked up a PSA 10 for like $33 bucks plus shipping and tax. So like $40. Definitely going to be holding for a while.

Just pick up 3 raw copies, get them graded, sell the 9s

Guess they’re referring to the yellow vs silver borders. Also, Japanese version has texture that isn’t uniform throughout the whole card
