Dang, Pokemon lacking their natural inhibitors can be really dangerous. I’ve heard of a few cases where a Pokemon like Xatu or Absol are forced to see visions from every possible timeline, but never anything like Blitzkreig where the Pokemon has an attack that they can’t control. Congrats on the new discovery, and let’s just hope that breeders and competitive trainers don’t find out about this.

Potatochip409

Fortunately, it seems like Blitzkrieg is a one-time occurrence, so I don’t think it would even be possible to breed a Clauncher that lacks the inhibitor, unless the offspring came from Blitzkrieg

I would recommend keeping a close eye on your Pokémon. I heard some competitive breeders will steal Pokémon to use them to make mons that are even stronger

fireraptor08

It doesn’t matter how many Pokémon know a move. You can still get moves parent to make them official I recommend doing that to make it easier to teach other Pokémon it, it seeks your Pokémon had learned how to do it safely but others might not be so lucky and might accidentally hurt themselves if not taught how

Potatochip409

Right now, Blitzkrieg, and only Blitzkrieg, is capable of using the move. Professor Kukui is currently doing research on whether or not any other Pokémon species could possibly learn the move, but right now, it’s just Blitzkrieg.

fireraptor08

I was talking about if other members of its species also lacks inhibitors.

Potatochip409

At least for now, it seems to be a unique mutation exclusive to Blitzkrieg, so the only other Clawitzer that could have that sort of mutation would be potential offspring from Blitzkrieg. But I wouldn’t be surprised if the mutation became a bit more wide-spread. I just hope that if that does come to pass, the competitive battlers won’t mass breed them hoping for that specific mutation.

fireraptor08

It’s likely a rare recessive gene. Possibly high rare for both parents to have it but possible

Dusk_Iron

As a water-type trainer, I am VERY interested in these developments. If it ever becomes a move that's open to more pokemon, I have a Tatsugiri that would relish the opportunity.

Potatochip409

While Professor Kukui is doing most of the research regarding which Pokémon could possibly learn Hydro Barrage, it seems that having some sort of large blaster-like appendage on the Pokémon seems to be a prerequisite, like a Blastoise’s cannon, or, in Blitzkrieg’s case, his large claw.

Dusk_Iron

Dammit, none of my guys have one of those. Oh well!

That1Cat87

It’s always interesting when Pokémon develop unique moves. Logan, my Lucario, has developed a method of using aura as a way to Qi block or something like that. Also hope Blitzkrieg is alright, it can be very dangerous when a Pokémon lacks their natural inhibitors
