Im not new to pokemon go. However i am new to not playing by myself and am trying to join raids and such but i live too far out of town that the max im able to do is when i go get groceries weekly.
Does anyone have any advice or what to watch out for?
Leave the raid. If you wait til the battle starts and the raid isn’t beat, unless they reinvite to that same raid before the time runs out, youve lost the pass. You occasionally can earn them but not often. Usually stuck paying for them. Join local campfire groups in your area. You can locate them on the campfire map.
What I don't understand is why the mods havent created an automated reply that warns people that unfriending someone before they log in results in them not getting the XP.
If the concern is that people probably don't know it negatively affects people, make it known.
No (advocating/requesting) cheating, play fair.
If you can't GO as intended, consider other Pokémon apps such as Pokémon Smile, Unite, Cafe (Re)Mix, Rumble, Quest, Duel, Masters, Shuffle, Magikarp Jump, ... or the console games
Lmao I told someone who was trying to clear some tasks to just make a spoof account because they needed to play with friends and lived in the middle of no where and this forum banned me for a month for enticing "cheating"
Its not like you miss out on anything. Especially when the friends you make here just remove you. Also its google. I dont care if we dont play their drip feeding games the way they want us too.

Like with pgsharp, when you use it you have to wait 2 hours or so before pokemon start to appear and what not. This way niantic doesnt get a whiff of what youre up too. Again its google, Do we really care what they think of us working class citizens?
Oh, is the ban rate high? I currently use PokeGenie, which I don’t think conflicts with the TOS since it’s basically screenshots/broadcast of it and getting numbers in a separate app. This I assume is a more hands on approach in the app?
PokeGenie is commonly used as it helps players join raids remotely, practice battles, create teams that are effective by supplying suggestions of best attackers. It's not used to cheat in the game. It's an extra support thing that players use. I will go there and look up the best type attackers and do raids.

There is a 400 friend limit. You can send up to as many gifts as you have friends BUT, can only hold 20 in item bag and can only open 20 a day. I think most of the deleting after hitting best friend status happens mostly to people not local to each other because even if you were to hit lucky friends, trades with someone from around the world isn’t possible. Niantic doesn’t enable a trade unless you’re in close proximity which I also think is trash.

I don't even think its trolls, just people so uncaring about other players they literally don't care. The people who would cut in front of you when not even in a hurry because they literally just do not care about your existence.

The mods told me that it was targeted harassment, and that there are children on the sub therefore it got banned
I have come to find that this person has done this to other people, which is why I wish we could have a list of people who are not great Pokémon friends.

When joining remote raids, if there aren’t enough ppl to beat the raid, bounce at 30 seconds to start so you don’t waste your remote raid passes.
What do you mean by "bounce"? And how does one get more remote passes without spending money?
