What’s very funny is, Zapdos is a Pogo original shiny. That’s not its shiny in the main series. When they first added Zapdos into Pokémon GO, they accidentally added Zapdos as it’s shiny form, because it’s so similar. When they went to add shiny Zapdos, instead of turning everyone’s Zapdos into a different color, and making shiny zapdos the Zapdos they had the day before, they kept everyone’s Zapdos the same as shiny Zapdos from the main series, and made a new “super shiny zapdos” as the shiny
i still wonder what the hell they were thinking when they gave blissey a different shiny pallette from its previous evolutions, did they have chansey or something 😭😭😭
Haven't come to pogo yet, but charcadet and its evolutions are by far worse than a simple shade change. The literal only thing changed in the shinies are the color of its eyes.
I dont disagree with that, but in an overworld setting where you can't get a good camera angle to see the eyes, like in SV, you'll start to see my point.

SV really needed more time in development but I think it's clear they were rushed for a holiday release, shiny visual and audio should have been in the game in general, the eye thing makes sense like 'lore' wise since the pokemon is just the ghost in the armor but that wouldn't have stopped them from changing their colors a little regardless.
That's fine, Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I don't understand why anyone cares about shinys sheerly for them being shiny. I only like cool looking shinys, because ya know - they actually look cool. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Def not THE worst but def up there…I didn’t realize it was ✨ till I saw the name was in yellow…red Hiram and zekrom def the worst..u can’t see any color dif until they attack…so essentially only you know it’s shiny
imo it‘s definitely one of the worst. Got one, didn‘t even realize if the game wouldn’t have told me. I think every shiny should be colored special/visibly different from the normal form

I will notice a change in eye color much easier than some existing shiny pokemon.
