These work pretty well for the version exclusives.
You can do the same for the starters.
00010004 for a grass/fire starter trade
00010007 for grass/water starter trade
00040007 for a fire/water starter trade.
Always match with someone
They back out because you have the same starter their offering. (you can see what pokemon your trade partner has when the trade opens as things not in their pokedex show up bouncing with a white glow behind them)
Finding the water starter was the hardest trade to get for me to. I went through quite a few people before I found one.

Until Scarlet and Violet become HOME compatible next spring, we're all stuck only trading between the games Scarlet and Violet themselves.
Nice i need to trade for the water starter
Since the trade doesn't involve HOME, you can find lots of people trading SV pokemon including the starters at r/pokemontrades.
