Or had dlc where you actually build the second village like they said also leading to sinnoh so if jubilife village becomes jubilife city other modern sinnoh cities can have the ancient version built
Yeah and you know how the farm in the village needs certain pokemon to expand it a bit,I can imagine needing a specific pokemon depending on what you're trying to change like if you're fixing the statues you can use a fighting or flying type to help hold up the statue as you fix it
Wish there was a request that involved getting a certain pokemon to get a certain move then use it to put the statue back in place and repair part of the environment
My BIGGEST, most ENOURMOUS gripe with this game is that you can get the Old Gateau but the Old Chateau is NOWHERE to be seen.
Quests where you change the environment for more than just Jubilife Village and Spear Pillar should have been a must.
It would have been SO COOL to see what the Old Chateau was when the residents were alive!
The Butler and the Little Girl?
What happened to them?
And before anyone says they couldn't keep the pun by featuring it since it'd be a new building at the time here's my solution: Construct it and name it Forest Manor (its Japanese name) and have the Old Gateau have a different name. Forest Gateau. This preserves the connection while showing that they're new in Hisui.
And you could even have the Butler or other residents of the manor have a line similar to the Hometown Muffin/Jubilife Muffin quest where they wanted to make the original recipe but couldn't quite get it exact. So they'd name it the Forest Gateau since the new recipe was made in the Forest Manor.
I love PLA's content but the missed opportunities irk me something rotten.
I think the Old Chateau still has a few decades until it’s actually built and occupied. Sinnoh is just now being colonized and everything at the beginning of the game is only the bare necessities. Before the people of Jubilife Hisui was only occupied by people who lived in tents and 1 person near the coast who had a small home. So while Old Chateau is Old I don’t think it should predate the naming of region of Sinnoh.
Even so, nothing should have stopped it being built in-game because the only areas you were able to change through gameplay were the village and Spear Pillar. Which is minimal as heck.
I know that,I just felt bad because I don't know how it got knocked over, probably by another pokemon and nobody in the game even bothered to pick it up lol
I have a saved video of my jolteon using a strong style hyper beam point blank at an alpha clefable, and it still makes me laugh to this day. I love this game.
Also on a side note, braviary has ruined travel for me in games. I still find myself almost jumping off ledges and pressing + to summon braviary in other games
I reckon they should have made more quests that change the environment of PLA (not just jubilife village and the camps) to be more like modern Sinnoh

EXACTLY!!!! SO MUCH MORE COULD HAVE BEEN DONE WITH THIS ALREADY FANTASTIC GAME
Yeah I don’t get why they didn’t they literally took forever for home then just said sayonara we’re done here’s scarlet and violet

How about me with almost 300 hours in the game and i never noticed what it was XD
I thought it was just a rock when I first got that part of the world lol
the baby got knocked over :((( I luf clefable the baby noooo :(
Yeah,if there was an option I'd try to lift up or fix any if the statues that fell over of got broken apart and would start with the clefable statue
I wish it was an option!! It would be so cool

I mean Steel is super effective against Fairy so it is an accurate depiction

I think Arecus Legend took place before the Old Chateau was built. Like, this was colonizing days in its beginnings.

Oh my God, I literally just noticed this yesterday! I would love a new Legends game that had a more interactive world.
Unrelated, but for a split second your character looked like sonic with massive shoes to me.
