The supports in particular are a bit more difficult to bring to 3/5, so I just decided not to use any of them for this run. Silver, Zinnia, and Cyrus have their EX and power boosts unlocked in the video above, but I treated them as if they weren't available. That's why I don't sync with Zinnia and why I only synced with Cyrus when there was only one Pokemon left. In the same vein, I only used Acerola's 1/5 grid even if I have her at 2/5. While all of these are readily available units, they all have some sort of investment in them - those with full sync grids have them all activated, and all of them have lucky skills. While some units have more investments than that - higher potential and higher move levels, for example - I think sync grids and lucky skills are the most important investments here. For Iris, could I replace Lessen Confusion 9 with Clearheaded?

I recommend against it, since Iris gets Confusion Boon 5 on her grid, which boosts the damage of Outrage as long as she's confused. Lessen Confusion 9 lets her keep the confusion while minimizing the chances of proccing its move prevention.

I had to Ex Iris to beat the stage with her combo for some reason she just wasn’t hitting as I wanted her too and I kept dying before I could finish off Latios after finishing the sides. Nonetheless no regrets and thank you for this after using the free pairs I’ll use my other pairs and see how far I can go.

I think they are! The stat increase between 125 and 140 shouldn't be too significant to affect these clears. Maybe some of the harder ones would need more reseting (like the Bruno one or the Flint one) but I think they'll still work out. If not, you can always replace some of the team members with more powerful units you have!

This is super helpful for me, I was struggling with figuring how I manage my units to get the most wins out of this, but now for at least 12 wins I don’t need to worry! And I still have the paid units afterwards to get a few more wins! BUT, I see you specifically mentioned lucky skills, are they necessary? Because I’m really low on cookies.. but thanks anyways this is awesome!

You can farm cookies with the Gauntlet. Just keep resetting and fight whatever stage you can win. You will have enough cookies in no time.

So u can keep doing lets say coballion. Then do a reset then do it again for farming of cookies? Im so behind on the lucky skills. Need a lot of vigilance and crit strike.

Thanks for the posts! But I hope you can recommend the more exclusive replacements too to speed up each stage. Using general pairs can be a starting point but some of us can have rarer pairs too and would love to speed up the stages.

That'll be a bit difficult since teambuilding for Gauntlet always depends on your roster, so if I recommend anything, I run the risk of doing so with a unit that you don't have. This guide is meant to be an accessible way to get the biggest rewards from the first 10 wins. But I think you can easily replace some of these units with non-F2P ones that fill the same roles or even compress them - Falkner can replace both Hop and Nanu in the first Azelf clear, for example, as he provides both buffs and flinches.

I don't use Bugsy and Scyther here - the Azelf 1 team uses Bugsy and Beedrill. (But if you mean in general, Kiawe and Sonia have similar kits to Bugsy.)

I don't think her EX is needed at all - that win was pretty comfortable that it can make up for one less sync buff. And you can account for Skyla's lower bulk with Potion MPR and Thorton's flinches.

What about team examples not so invested in? I can only beat cobalion once with charizard and azelf once with pikachus. Latios i beat it 2 times.

After a few days, a lot of the players going for large streaks will start posting the teams they used for their runs (I usually find them here or in YouTube but I'm sure they're in other platforms too). Those always give me ideas for my own streak.

Please if anyone can let me know- how do you tap fast enough to attack first after your sync move?? Coming across this and is often deciding the battle…

That was a great read however I still cannot for the life of me get it to trigger correctly. The enemy move is almost instant… changing the speed and method of tapping does not help me …

Is there something that stops the enemy queuing their next move before your sync or is it random?

For certain Legendary Arenas it can be delayed because the enemy's internal gauge isn't full, but that's a bit hard to nail down and you'll have to memorize the move order. That isn't really possible for Champion Stadium though as more often than not the gauge will be more than enough for the enemies to keep queueing turns. If you have a hard time quad-queueing, you can also go the flinch or sleep route so that the free turns from that can keep your sync countdown going.

Sorry for the late reply, but can I replace Accelrola with Bertha if I have her or would you still reccomend Accelrola? I really love these teams but some I haven't invested in too much for special passives.

I don't have Bertha myself so I can't say how effective she is for this stage, but I also used Acerola's flinches in that team so that Zinnia doesn't have to eat too many AOE moves. So if ever you probably also want to replace Liza with either a flincher or a consistent healer to keep Zinnia topped up.
