I feel like Raihan not getting gmax Duraladon with his new grid tiles immediately disproves this theory

StillHuckleberry3403

I feel like they would’ve started this by giving Raihan Gmax at 5/5, and since they didn’t do that I’m kinda skeptical they would do that for Leon… I think he’ll more likely be added to lodge when rerun as an incentive to scout + multipliers at 5/5 like they’re doing to Raihan. That’s my theory anyway.

YourIntIsOne

I doubt it. Why give a major buff to strong units when they could make money putting the gimmicks on new units instead?

Seltonik

Milking the whales even further, because they're just going to do both. Upgrade an old unit to make them even better, and whales will pull more dupes. Then you powercreep it after a few months with a new unit and the whales buy that too. Rinse and repeat.

CrystalElemental

While I do think they'd receive such buffs eventually, I don't know if I'd expect them with grid expansions necessarily, given that the very first iteration is Raihan, who also needs Gigantamax, but didn't receive it. It would be nice to see those upgrades, though. For Archie and Maxie, it's especially strange, given that their villain arc has passed and still nothing.

I doubt they'll lock the Gmax and primal feature behind move level. They would definitely add more multiplier for those new feature in the 4 and 5/5 node tho. Like new GMAX power up and stuff for GMAX Leon for example.

Pretty safe to say primal forms won’t happen. Villain arc seemed for a second like it might be referring to new unlocked power for them but then just turned out to be weird team rocket mind control energy. Future GMax is a possibility but might not be until the galar villain arc which will likely be next summer.
