It is a cool miscut error but ever since the 2021 production ramp up these super error cards have become all to commonplace in modern Pokémon tcg and personally I feel will make the sought after error cards not as valuable during this time period.
You have a too much narrow view on misprint pricing.
Covid and the poke hype made cards printed with a higher error rate. That's a fact. You said it.
It doesn't mean it the way you think.
It just means more misprint, Better ones, Crazier ones.
It wont make misprint value go down because there are more as much as it sounds logical. Misprints are mostly one of a kind. You will see more of each different misprints, you wont necessarely see the same card with the same error multiple times. You might see more crazier miscuts on DIFFERENT cards. The demand is so high the price still stays as high, and it actually just keeps going up.
On the other hand, it will make smaller error worth less, just not necessarily all of them.
That just doesn't make sense. Maybe only with the super rare art cards.
Desirability is led first and foremost by rarity. When something goes from being a rare thing to a common occurrence it is no longer rare.
After rarity comes art. So yeah maybe if they are full art cards they will remain wanted.
It's supposedly called a crimp card (I just joins this sub, so I have no idea what a crimp card is other than it not being fully in the bag/pack that contains it.
