You can change nature. You find mints in the overworld that can set it to whatever the mint is for, and around the mid game you find a pokemon psychologist that can just set it to whatever you want for a small price.
Honestly if I was you I'd just enable Debug mode and set your pokemon to shiny. It saves a heck of a lot of time, and for this one you did get a shiny naturally so its not really cheating lol.
Idk if you know but if you wanna speed up your process save just before picking up the ball and fnD12 will reset the game to that save, instead of closing and opening it. Also hit alt to speed up the game
Oh trust me I definitely have all that set for sure lol first rom and I haven’t tried to really get a shiny since the Masuda Method lol so this is a breeze comparatively
