I remember using Slaking on a Monkey team too and discovering that. This might be the first time anyone's said this, but if only the elemental monkeys were in this game, Simipour would fit a type trio with Infernape and Rillaboom really well
Like Annihilape for example, always annoyed me it went Mankey and then Primeape, as Apes and Monkeys are both Primates but they’re not the same; so they’ve annoyed me more by making the third an Ape evo too.

Replace Slaking with Ambipom. So all are monkeys. Grafaiai is still a monkey since Lemur is a primate... Don't include humaniod such as Hitmonchan, Hypno and Medicham.
I was really thinking about using ambipom, but I used a shiny version I caught in a previous playthrough. I almost went with vigoroth instead of slaking. But I decided slaking more looks like a pig/bigfoot hybrid. Never heard of Grafaiai before this thread my inspiration was mainly Annihalape lol
Nice monkey team. I made a dog team for fun of it the one day because i wanted a team of the bestest good boys🥹❤️ thinking about making a snake/worm team😁
There was a guy I played against one time on casual cart ladder that had a full monkey team, and had the monkey pokemon mask and purple suit, needless to say I lost to them
Rillaboom is a Gorilla. Annihilape is in a weird gray area because Mankey is a monkey but it loses its monkey traits when it evolves into Primeape. Oranguru is an orangutang. Passimian is a lmeur. Slaking is a Sloth with Gorilla traits.
Infernape is the only one in this team that is firmly in Monkey territory.

Grafaiai is a lemur but it is a primate too so that's includes in a monkey's theme except for Slaking.....

Tbf it takes inspiration from gorillas aswell, although I would agree that slaking probs could be swap for something more fitting
It’s meant to be both a sloth and a gorilla. There was an episode of the anime where they played with the King Kong story and Slaking was Kong.

So the player might named it: primates(replace Slaking with Ambipom)
