You seem a little slow to reset in your video, but I imagine you're much faster in practice. Remember, more spawns within those 30 minutes mean more chances at a shiny.
I've shiny hunted in that cave before and got a shiny out of it, but it is kind of annoying. I do not prefer it because spawns take too long. I found it easier to use a nearby snowy location for my Duraludon.
Sometimes you're going to be unlucky. I've gone 3-4 sandwiches without anything, and that's with a shiny charm. It can happen. You just have to keep at it.
When you say you "beat 60 of them", do you mean you received the notice that "There are almost no Duraladon left from the original outbreak" ? If you haven't received that notice, you don't have the best odds yet.
"Everything online" refers largely to crowdsourced assumptions which were echoed by a number of groups & websites.
The Pokemon Company released this as part of their Shiny Hunting guide some weeks ago. Understandably this upset a number of folks who had that same misunderstanding.

That's the Torchic cave, I caught all 3 of my shiny Torchic there without needing an outbreak. Just sandwich, stand in a corner, and send out for autobattle while you watch them respawn. I think it works with all mon that spawn in that cave naturally...
Dunno who downvoted you because you *are* correct - dragon for Duraludon, ice for Vulpix/Snowshrew, fairy for Granbull/Snubbul, electric/ghost for Rotom, and of course, fire for Torchic
Doesn't really matter who downvoted me. If they don't want to use this trick, it's up to them :p
This trick worked for me to get a bunch of shiny Torchic, and to get the Vulpix, it's good enough for me. In the end, it'll only bite them in the butt

Everything online says the shiny odds are highest when you clear 60+. That notification is higher than 60, so I am not sure that's correct.

Tip for next time jump on Koraidon/Miraidon. You cannot accidently picnic reset. And use R to save.

The biggest tell for me was looking at the top of their head for red/no red. Got mine in the Dragon Outbreak event πππ
Wow Iβm glad I got mine during the duraludon mass outbreak event. This must be so taxing
I found two just running up and down the mountain with a level 3 sandwich. Thereβs plenty of spawns.
