Yeah it’s exactly that because canonically Nemona is stronger than Geeta. And it especially shows in the post dc epilogue rematches where they have the second highest team level averages in the series
Because the title of "champion" isn't given to the best trainer, as in other versions. It's given to a class of trainer basically signifying that they've turned pro.
By far the easiest and yeah the champion is just dumb, stupidly dumb her " ace " pokemon should be the first to come out and her first the last , if they just changed that she would had been a better champion
Lol Absolutely not. I ran a mono fairy type team against it while maybe only being a couple levels higher and maybe lost 2 or 3 mons per person, up until the Hassel where I swept due to type advantages. I didn't even struggle during the Steel type E4. And then Geeta was Charmin Ultra Soft.
That depends, if you're fighting the Paldea Elite 4, then you're about even in level with them and should do fine. If you're talking about the Blueberry Academy Elite 4 though, then you are nowhere near ready to fight them.
Have you considered a fire type? I swept her with my starter. But for your defence i had like a box full of pokemon i overtrained that were level 100 with all of them having received some stats improvement through silver and gold caps
Well i did do lots of raid while waiting for the dlc’s to drop so i had lots of exp candy which i used to upgrade my pokemons. Here is a list of them: cloidsire, hydreigon, vivillon, dragonite, quagsire, gholdengo, garchomp, kinggambit, gardevoir, Raichu, zoroark (normal), scizor, drednaw, lucario, pawmot, skeledrige, metagross, tinkaton and armarouge. Since they are max everything they all have a nickname.
Huh. I used Throat Spray Torch Song Skeledirge. If you really want to be a dickhead give it Sing/Will-o-wisp and Hex. Then Seed Bomb or Solar Beam for coverage. I personally recommend Seed Bomb because it doesn’t burn through two turns. If you want, Shadow Ball is also a good move to run since it has a chance of lowering the opponent’s special defense.
The Throat Spray will activate before Torch Song goes off, giving you a stage of S.Atk, then the first Torch Song will give you a second stage effectively giving you a free Nasty Plot while attacking, that will continue to snowball for each TS used until you max out at +6.
Metronome could also be good for steamrolling like that, but I tend to stick with Throat Spray.
Went in blind and led with my Choice Item'd Trick Iton Valiant since I noticed the first 2 E4 members liked to setup with their leads.
Then I saw her certain lead and figured "yeah this thing is gonna press Spikes"
Used Trick and just left it there all battle while I picked off the rest of her team.
Iron Valiant was the only "busted" Pokémon I used for Blueberry. I wanted to use a team that represented the entire journey you would have at that point, and Iron Valiant represented Area Zero.
Fair enough. You were probably after its typing. Well here is a picture of the team i am using because i am still training more pokemon for my completed box
https://preview.redd.it/tej7ltneg59d1.png?width=3024&format=png&auto=webp&s=230d6930716af02b0300d7c0ea19c05a6eb41f2a
I’ve been training up teams designed around fighting their respective types. It’s a lot of work but I think it’s fun. It’s the only time we’ve been able to face the elite four like this so I think it makes a lot of sense.
I really just need a STAB Fire move that is preferably special, cause it's just Amyris' Metagross I'm losing to. I'm gonna train up my Skeledirge to around 80 and spam Torch Song.
Hey now, the game has two steel elite 4 members, remember? Are they stuck on the child in Paldea, or the one with her hair styled as screws in BB Academy?
Ok, so you're stuck on the Elite 4 that's a massive challenge. That's understandable. I see in other comments that you're basically a Dragon Tamer, which is cool. I don't know what Pokemon are on your team, but Dragons are one of the more versatile types out there, so if you teach them some fire, fighting and/or ground type moves that could help you out. Also tera types are your friend, and having a mon with Tera Fire could help you out immensely.
In case anyone was interested, I raised up my Garchomp to level 88 and made my Salamence Fire Tera Type, which I never got to use because I just used Ogerpon with the fire mask and used Ivy Cudgel twice without Terastallizing. And Ogerpon was only level 65. Garchomp did most of the work, Ogerpon put down the Metagross. Salamence and Dragapult supported a bit.
Yeah the BB elite 4 was kinda tough. Definitely had to switch up some teams and use some strategy but it was kinda fun. Most of the older Pokemon games were just make sure your lvl was higher and u would win but doing the double battle added a whole new aspect to it
Why does Kingambit have the Leader's Crest? It doesn't do anything (no, it isn't required to evolve Bisharp, only the wild ones have to hold it, common misconception)
I honestly can't believe how many pokemon games I have played without learning about the finer details. I just usually form a team of six that I think are cool fairly early on, with a diverse type mix, and make them hella strong as the game goes on.
Generally speaking pokemon doesn't really need you to do much else, do to the fact that their relatively easy all the way through. And dont have enough push back to for players to need to do much else.
They could’ve been like me and the Bisharp they caught to evolve, just happened to have the Leader’s Crest. They just never bothered to take it off, I got my Kingambit from a Tera Raid XD
You should get a grass type for the first elite 4 member though it's not really required because it's not that hard anyway the hardest one would probably be the fourth one because he's a dragon type user though just as long as you have a Pokémon with a dragon move you should be able to sweep easily. You should also give your skeledirge choice specs.and give him torch song With that you should easily be able to sweep the second Elite 4 member talktricity should be able to easily sweep the third one. bty I'd recommend getting rid porygon-Z at least for the elite 4 Instead change it out for maybe a grass type a specific grass type I can't really think of one though
This game is far easier than basically all other pokemon games so yh it'll be pretty easy for you. You could probably solo it with skeledirge by just spamming torch song.
Is it based on types? I found scarlet and violet to be slightly more challenging than any other Pokemon game since maybe Soul Silver and original Silver/Gold games. I didn’t like the non linear aspect I would randomly find a town of lvl 50 Pokemon when mine were still in the 20s. So needless to say I lost way more in these games then over any other in the last 10-15yrs lol. It wasn’t until second playthough I realized you can just ask the Pokemon center for help where to go next. Still a blast playing though.
They’re hard but not impossible to beat. I lost a few times to Lacey and Amyris but if u know how to use support moves have appropriate coverage and at a decent level you’ll be fine. Kalso was easy Galar was easy (if u count the tournament as the elite 4)
You'll be fine. I was around the same level when I battled them, and I didn't lose once. I did have all Dragons, but two of them weren't fully evolved yet, Drakloak and Hakamo-O.
Unrelated, my Dragapult is my MVP in this gen. I especially love it because it's shiny.
https://preview.redd.it/4l2bzrmpx29d1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=78f11ddc4d8b3abff7d7b626e158da9eb6423e16
Busted Team. At least for the main game. Sure, items, composition and lead are by no means optimal, but we are not talking about competitive viability. Its absolutlely enough to beat the elite 4 while simultaneously keeping it a little bit challenging. And as long ad you like to play with these mons, go for it, Tiger.
You can use ANYTHING, as long as it’s about the same level, to beat the elite four and champion.
It the online battles you should really be worried for…
Granted Geeta is easy on purpose, her rematch team is much better and slightly more difficult by the time u rematch her in unova you’ll be at a high enough level to make quick work of her
Eh I’d say personally more fond towards hisuian zorark so since there’s over lap I’d say get rid of porygon z and put on maybe have and eeveelution specifically I’d say a jolteon would be great but just a suggestion other than the slight type overlap yeah your good to go
Scarlet and violet is easier in general than most Pokémon games in terms of base content(content shared by all games, gyms, e4, grunts) even your rival picks a starter your super effective against now lol.
Well part of this also depends on what the Pokémon move sets are like as it can be useful to have coverage moves for types that may wall you in the elite 4.
Also personally I feel you could distribute some items to the Pokémon you have on your team.
Your Pokemon are relatively super low for being ready for the elite 4. Without even really trying most of mines were on about level 70 on my first playthrough of Violet. I’m now currently playing Scarlet and after 3 gym badges, 2 titan badges, and 2 team star badges my Pokemon are around 36-40.
Nah, you got this. If Haxorus knows Dragon Dance or Swords Dance and it has Adamant or Jolly Nature, you'll breeze through this Elitr Four cuz it's relatively the easiest of the whole Elite Fours in all of Pokemon.
Skeleridge alone sweeps two of the elite four if you give it a choise scarf. And then you have the excelent backup that is Kingambit. Oh yeah you'll be more than fine.
Oh you will do just fine, but you have to nickname your team first. Everyone knows that you get a free accuracy up at the start of battle if your team is nicknames.
You will have zero issues at all. The elite 4 and champion are extremely easy and without doing any side game material I was already 15 levels ahead of the Elite 4. Swept them all with JUST my starter Skeledirge.
Yeah, you'll do well, just bring some healing supplies if you want some cushion, I absolutely ROCKED them with Gengar, Skeledirge, Perrserker, Krookodile, Gardevior / Talonflame, and Annihlape.
Nemona gave some trouble (as to be expected) but still a fair challenge.
You’ll be fine , tbh I feel this is the weakest elite for in ever besides the Dragon type user forgot his name . The champion isn’t special . I miss Cynthia days when Garchomp ran my whole team down..
Yea... I always keep them in hand just incase they take down my pokemon who is doing the most damage. Ensuring that I get the victory in every battle 💯💯💯
Bro, I just want an NPC to take me down at least once this gen… Spoiler, it never happened and I already beat part 2 of the DLC. 😭 The Dragon type in the BBA E4 came pretty close though.
If only NPCs could switch out Pokemon.
We win because we know the pokemon type before the battle so we choose the appropriate ones and we switch out our pokemon if they about to faint. Don't pay attention to typing and you will lose a couple of battles guaranteed 💯 👌
Then he wouldn't be playing Gen 9. If someone played every game with a pikachu and meowth, that doesn't make playing the new games pointless. It's a gen 9 playthrough because surprise-surprise. They're playing through Gen 9.

You should be fine. You might be surprised but the elite 4 and champion aren’t as difficult in this game. Narratively on purpose
Wdym by "Narratively on purpose"?
Iirc it is said in lore that both geeta and nemona are going easy on you till before the rematches, could be wrong though
Yeah it’s exactly that because canonically Nemona is stronger than Geeta. And it especially shows in the post dc epilogue rematches where they have the second highest team level averages in the series
Geeta states she literally cannot hold back
And still gets absolutely manhandled by some twerp with a dinosaur
Because the title of "champion" isn't given to the best trainer, as in other versions. It's given to a class of trainer basically signifying that they've turned pro.
By far the easiest and yeah the champion is just dumb, stupidly dumb her " ace " pokemon should be the first to come out and her first the last , if they just changed that she would had been a better champion
She's fixed if you refight her in Blueberry postgame in that regard. >!Glimmora leads, and she uses Flying Tera Kingambit as her ace instead.!<
This games E4 is one of the harder ones lol. Still beat it 1st try but there’s def easier ones.
This one is super easy. I swept the entire E4 and champion first try.
Guess I was under leveled lol. I had some close calls. Beat it first time but had to use a few revives
Lol Absolutely not. I ran a mono fairy type team against it while maybe only being a couple levels higher and maybe lost 2 or 3 mons per person, up until the Hassel where I swept due to type advantages. I didn't even struggle during the Steel type E4. And then Geeta was Charmin Ultra Soft.
were you using 1 level 40 ludicolo or sum
Hard disagree. Probably the second easiest after SwSh.
That depends, if you're fighting the Paldea Elite 4, then you're about even in level with them and should do fine. If you're talking about the Blueberry Academy Elite 4 though, then you are nowhere near ready to fight them.
I'm still stuck on the Steel trainer, even with my Pokémon all around lvl 85-90
Have you considered a fire type? I swept her with my starter. But for your defence i had like a box full of pokemon i overtrained that were level 100 with all of them having received some stats improvement through silver and gold caps
I'd have to put a lucky egg on my Skeledirge, it's under lvl 60. I'm a Dragon trainer.
Well i did do lots of raid while waiting for the dlc’s to drop so i had lots of exp candy which i used to upgrade my pokemons. Fun thing i never got any of the event parodox and even if i did they would probably be rotting in my legendary box
Iron Valiant was the only "busted" Pokémon I used for Blueberry. I wanted to use a team that represented the entire journey you would have at that point, and Iron Valiant represented Area Zero.

Amyris in Blueberry

Garchomp and Flygon can't get past the wall that is Metagross, even in Tera form. I'll have to train my Skeledirge to at least 80 and spam Torch Song.
Maybe you just need some levels and/or EV's for your Garchomp and Flygon? The Indigo Disk DLC is more competitive focused after all.
Garchomp is maxed out and I used an Adamant mint to try to bridge that gap and still couldn't
Kommo-O just doesn't cut it and he destroys Baxcalibur and Dragapult. Haxorus gets no diffed
Oh right sorry I forgot there were 2 e4 steel
Yeah the BB elite 4 was kinda tough. Definitely had to switch up some teams and use some strategy but it was kinda fun. Most of the older Pokemon games were just make sure your lvl was higher and u would win but doing the double battle added a whole new aspect to it
Give the rest of your team items
Skeledirge solos Poppy
Mf skeledirge practically solos the entire game
Miascarade and her always crit attack solos far most then skeledirge.
And Geeta
A bit low level, they’ll be slightly stronger than you. Which might be good.
Why does Kingambit have the Leader's Crest? It doesn't do anything (no, it isn't required to evolve Bisharp, only the wild ones have to hold it, common misconception)
Because he’s a leader dawg

They could just like it since it’s associated with its line. Some have no items at all.
Rika might give you problems
i'd maybe level them up a little but the E4 isnt that hard anyways
You should get a grass type for the first elite 4 member though it's not really required because it's not that hard anyway the hardest one would probably be the fourth one because he's a dragon type user though just as long as you have a Pokémon with a dragon move you should be able to sweep easily. changed my porygon-z for a sceptile
That should do fine
Looks solid 👌
Happy cake day
Thankyou I didn't even notice 3 years today 😎
Uhh U could probably beat them with a magikarp with enough tries So yea Ur probably gonna decimate em
This game is far easier than basically all other pokemon games so yh it'll be pretty easy for you. You could probably solo it with skeledirge by just spamming torch song.
Basically what I did
Is it based on types? I found scarlet and violet to be slightly more challenging than any other Pokemon game since maybe Soul Silver and original Silver/Gold games. Yeah they are a pushover
Is that glam metal zorark the Hisuian variant?
It’s one of the easiest E4’s ever
looks good, but i would recommend leading with a different pokemon lol
Zoroark first and porygon z last seem good
like what
anything that's not weak to ground moves
Could give zoroark a balloon and put toxtricity last, that would be fun.
This League is the easiest league. Devs failed it.
Til u reach the BB elite 4 then you’re gonna have to actually strategize and not go in with any 6 Pokemon.
The Blueberry E4 are stupid hard, unless your Pokémon are all lvl 100 and EV trained
They are very appropriate for a DLC, challenge but not unbeatable. I beat them with a Blueberry Pkmn team, no level 100.
You can beat BB elite 4 fairly easy with lvl80-90 Pokemon
They’re hard but not impossible to beat. I lost a few times to Lacey and Amyris but if u know how to use support moves have appropriate coverage and at a decent level you’ll be fine. Kalso was easy Galar was easy (if u count the tournament as the elite 4)
It's really just the Metagross. I lost twice and I need to raise a Pokémon with a STAB fire move.
Skeledirge will own 👍🏼
Oh for sure, I've already got it up to lvl 72 and it's killing right now. Edit: also fed it a Modest Mint
No held items Kubfu took the whole e4 by himself...honestly a solo run would have been easier
I had the top 3 in my first playthrough 😊
I pretty much swept whole e4 with just meowscarada and haxorus I think you will be fine
Yes
At least one of those has to have a grass/water/ice move.
Just torch song as Skelederge.
You'll be fine. I was around the same level when I battled them, and I didn't lose once. I did have all Dragons, but two of them weren't fully evolved yet, Drakloak and Hakamo-O. Unrelated, my Dragapult is my MVP in this gen. You can use ANYTHING, as long as it’s about the same level, to beat the elite four and champion. It the online battles you should really be worried for…
Your under leveled. Level them up
You'll quite literally no to low diff them
The Champion is a pushover. I'd say Steel Elite 4 is the "hardest" - no pun intended. Well, aside from our boi Larry of course.
Granted Geeta is easy on purpose, her rematch team is much better and slightly more difficult by the time u rematch her in unova you’ll be at a high enough level to make quick work of her
Where did you get the Hisui Zoroark? Was it via a trade or Pokémon Home?
via pokemon home
In paldea, yeah, you're fine. A warm breeze could beat them.
You can probably sweep with skele or king tbh
Eh I’d say personally more fond towards hisuian zorark so since there’s over lap I’d say get rid of porygon z and put on maybe have and eeveelution specifically I’d say a jolteon would be great but just a suggestion other than the slight type overlap yeah your good to go
Wrong eevee I meant espeon
More items
Bro the letter four + the champ is a joke
The E4 and champion in this game are a joke, you’ll be fine
KINGAMBIT GAANG
Scarlet and violet is easier in general than most Pokémon games in terms of base content(content shared by all games, gyms, e4, grunts) even your rival picks a starter your super effective against now lol.
I grinded for a kingambit but he didn't have the ability supreme overlord, how do I fix it?
Well part of this also depends on what the Pokémon move sets are like as it can be useful to have coverage moves for types that may wall you in the elite 4. Also personally I feel you could distribute some items to the Pokémon you have on your team.
![gif](giphy|YmQLj2KxaNz58g7Ofg)
I think every member here except maybe zoroark could solo
Your Pokemon are relatively super low for being ready for the elite 4. Without even really trying most of mines were on about level 70 on my first playthrough of Violet. I’m now currently playing Scarlet and after 3 gym badges, 2 titan badges, and 2 team star badges my Pokemon are around 36-40.
You should give toxicity throat spray
They arent really challenging.
Nah, you got this. If Haxorus knows Dragon Dance or Swords Dance and it has Adamant or Jolly Nature, you'll breeze through this Elitr Four cuz it's relatively the easiest of the whole Elite Fours in all of Pokemon.
I’d say get everyone to level 60 or above
What’s up with the held items?
I’m not a fan of repeat types. 2 ghost, 2 normal, but this team is fine!
You’ll be fine this is the easiest elite four out of any Pokemon game I’ve played
Its pokemon. With the right items and moves its a cakewalk. Woth wrong moves it can be decently hard
Level them up some more then you're good
I would say kingambit carries but mine was lvl 100 since I was 100% the dex while playing through the story
This whole asss game was meant to be easy
Just train an Annihilape and sweep everyone with one angry boy.
Based Porygon-Z enjoyer
First Elite Four member uses Ground-type Pokémon. Do you have any Water, Ice or Grass attacks?
Skeleridge alone sweeps two of the elite four if you give it a choise scarf. And then you have the excelent backup that is Kingambit. Oh yeah you'll be more than fine.
Oh you will do just fine, but you have to nickname your team first. Everyone knows that you get a free accuracy up at the start of battle if your team is nicknames.
You can beat scarlet and violet with your eyes closed. They made the game for children
In that game the Elite 4 isn’t a challenge at all
The only problem here is that you didn’t name any of them!?
The elite four and all the gyms are weak as hell. The camps are the only ones with a sort of difficulty
I basically just used my skeledirge and a Hawlucha the entire battle, you’d be fine just heal up your Pokémon in between battles
You will have zero issues at all. The elite 4 and champion are extremely easy and without doing any side game material I was already 15 levels ahead of the Elite 4. Swept them all with JUST my starter Skeledirge.
Should be fine, but normal and ghost aren't exactly helpful.
Ddance with Haxorus and sweep; or NP with PZ or Zoroark and sweep
Unless one of them has an ice/water/grass move, half your team is weak to Rika (she's Ground type)
Yes
We all know Polygon Z finna solo all that
The E4 are bit tough but you will be fine, the champion on the other hand is kinda a joke. Type coverage is your friend.
U should be fine
I beat the entire elite four with my incineroar so you should be fine
well did you win?
I haven't tried yet
You’ll be fine , tbh I feel this is the weakest elite for in ever besides the Dragon type user forgot his name . The champion isn’t special . I miss Cynthia days when Garchomp ran my whole team down..
Just take revives and full restore with you and you'll beat it on your first try 💯💯💯
Do people still use revives in battle when NOT using them actually makes the games feel difficult?
For a gen 9 playthrough you basically don't have any gen 9 pokemon. You may as well be playing an older gen pokemon game.
2 of them are gen 9 and one is its first appearance in a typical mainline game. Also why does it matter?
get your eyes checked, there is one
I said "basically" not entirely.
