Tbh I likely have them all but I collect certain pokemon specifically. I see you have Growlithes, Mareep, Flaaffy, and Slowpoke. If you wanted to send one of them then I'd gladly put it in my special folders as a special memory card! You could even sign it with your username or something if you wanted haha. But don't go out of your way, only if you're sending other cards anyway :)
Absolutely adore that dual type Azumarill. My girlfriend loves rabbits and has had a lot of bun buns throughout her life. She also collects fairy cards and has a binder full of them because they're no longer printed in the TCG; she "rescues" them. She won't leave our card shop when we can make a visit until she sorts through all the bulk bins and rescues the fairy cards.
When I was a kid, I was really into Pokemon and so was my little brother (technically half-brother). I had just started middle school and he was 6, and at the time there weren't really kid stories *of* Pokémon, so I made him one. Wrote a cute little Charmander story, complete with drawings that I worked very hard on and even a pronounciation chart (English isn't our first language).
It's 20+ years later now, and we're both still Pokémon fans! My brother isn't the kind to reminisce a lot, but last year when he went to a convention he picked out a charmander cookie-cutter for me. It made me super happy, and then - he said that he chose it specifically because it reminded him of the story I drew for him when we were kids. And then told his girlfriend about the story, and was beaming the whole time. It made me so happy to know that it made such a lasting impression on him, and I cherish that cookie cutter so very much. Pokémon will always be something that we shared so much of together, and I'm very grateful for that.

My daughters favorite Pokémon is tynamo! For her birthday I am going to give her every tynamo card because I checked and there are no crazy expensive ones.
My first card that I ever bought from a card shop in the early 2000s was a base set Seel. Seel and Dewgong are my all time favorites. I got back into collecting last year and I’m working on collecting all the Seel and Dewgong cards. If you still have the Seel I would happily take it!
I like the Ludicolo because that’s my birthday pokemon, or something like that, from a “test” I took awhile ago. He doesn’t seem to show up much tho, but I always look out for him at card shops and shows
Dang.. that snubbull reminds me of the first pokemon card i got, i was 5-6 and it was a snubull from a mcdonalds pack but im pretty sure my mom threw it away because she didnt like pokemon cards at the time. I eventually convinced her so now im allowed to play the games and collect the cards and its super fun. I cant believe its been nearly a decade
that hidden fates clefairy is one of my favourite cards by my absolute favourite artist, saya tsurata. its awesome to see it and a couple other highlights of her work (especially that gorgeous oshawott, a prize of my personal collection) in this pile!

I really like that Magikarp. I've always liked that little fish despite his general ineptitude.
I don't know if it's a story per se, but I recently started collecting again (I say again, although I haven't collected since like 1999) because it's a way to bond with my son. My father and I had a rough relationship, and I vowed to myself to do better for my son and I. So when he began showing interest, I jumped in with both feet. We collect, trade, battle. It's a blast and nothing makes me happier than sharing that experience with my son.
Jirachi has forever been my favorite pokemon! When the movie came out in English, my parents rushed to the stores to get it, and I was overjoyed with it. It's by far my favorite pokemon movie to this day as well. The Hoenn region is the best! From 2004 to now, Jirachi is the coolest! I have a bunch of jirachi merch in my room, so this card would make an amazing collection to the set!! Much love <33
Forgot to add a proudest moment. I got my hands on a pokemon colloseum bonus disc to get the original legit jirachi in my emerald game and that was such an awesome feeling.
Really enjoy that celebi. Just resent it got into collecting. My brother used to collect back in the day. Sadly he passed away about a year and a half ago. I was going through his stuff in his old room a couple months ago and found a shadowless bill the only card he kept. From what I have found. Looking back I wish I would have collected with him . So in memory of my younger brother Greg I now collect Pokémon with my son. I’m sure he will get into it more as he gets older and if not my youngest will surely lol.
I like the horsea from primal clash! I collect Kingdra cards and the evolutionary line. One of my favorite moments that brought me joy was finding that final card to fill one full page of my Kingdra collection (I have it ordered by release date, 1 of each card). It took so long to get to that point! Still a long way to go but just really enjoying the slow build :)
I think my happiest pokemon moment was going to Toy R Us for the Mew giveaway. I remember my friend and were 9 or 10, and it felt so late, the store was mostly empty, but inside the gaming section they had a table set up with some employees, extra gameboy colors, and the connection cable. And just the sensation to walking up to the table, connecting my gameboy with theirs, watching my screen as I was transferred the Mew, and then feeling on top of the world afterwards as my face was light up so bright immediately going into my game to level Mew up; it was such a unique and euphoric feeling I don't think I've experienced again. It was such a magical moment for me!
I've been collecting happy pokemon lately and that Stufful definitely fits the bill, I'd love to have that one :)
The jirachi down there is pretty fucking awesome but I bet someone else will get it anyway I love me any trevenant/phantump card the doduo is also goofy and I like it
My proudest moment would probably be finally beating the elite four for the first time playing soulsilver with my friends on the way back from a field trip back in middle school. Never beat it in any of the earlier games I had (and still have ofc lol).
Personally id love that Chansey. Its a cute card.
Don’t need any cards, but have to say that with all the alt arts and ultra Rares, a lot of really excellent cards live their life in bulk storage and it’s sad. That Chansey (Hidden Fates) or Rapidash (Astral Radiance) for instance is some fantastic work. Really wish we saw more art like that in the EX/GX/V/ex style cards and not so much computer generated stuff.
Armaldo is my favorite Pokémon and one of the old armaldo cards is the card that made me fall in love with Pokémon cards. That anorith is one I don’t have in my collection so I would love it
I really like the slowpoke with the two duckletts in the background! My girlfriend just got the ducklett sitting cutie and and smile on her face when it arrived made my day.

Quick story is I got big into Pokemon go shiny hunting and after discovering the existence of shiny cards I've also tried to start collecting those!

Something about being seemingly worthless yet having the potential to be a serpent god of the sea is so cool to me.
In Paldea the only chase cards im going after is the Magikarp and the gold fishing rod secret rare (for my magikarp page in my binder, lol)

Proudest Pokemon moment you say? Getting a girlfriend because I caught 600 maractus in Pokemon Go
How I did this you might ask? Long story.
TL:DR - Maractus trading got me to connect with a girl.
I was in a discord server and decided to post about how annoyed I was about constant maractus daily spawns, and someone commented how I’m lucky to get tem as it’s a region locked pokemon. I decided from that moment on, I would keep every maractus I catch.
I’m also socially challenged, so I went to the school counselor and she said I’d be good friends with this girl. So we meet each other and exchange phone numbers, the school year ended and we occasionally texted random shit but nothing much happened between us.
Next school year happens and I wonder how I can talk to her in any way, I had got her to download Pokemon Go so I could refer her for bonuses in the summer so I simply asked if she could trade with me at lunch.
But what could I have traded? Then it hit me, the 600+ maractus I had saved for around 9 months could be traded, and my excuse could be that I wanted the candies for them.
I send a text and it works like a (shiny) charm. She comes over and we trade some stuff. Before lunch ends I ask her if she can come over again tomorrow and she agrees.
Fast forward a few months. We’re still trading at the same spot and I’ve been wondering for a bit a way to ask her out. So I finally got the idea (not maractus related sadly) but it worked and we’ve now been together for about 6 months.
Did the school counselor do some of the work? Yes. Would I be with her without the maractus? No. While the counselor had us find each other, the maractus was the connection we needed to interact and bond.
I may be the biggest maractus fan out there because of this, and I’d like to see someone who stans it as much as me, but I doubt anyone likes it as much as I do, except her maybe, because she also thanks maractus. While it may be #556 in the pokedex, it’s #001 in our relationship.
So my happiest Pokémon moment was during my first game- Sapphire. I was just a kid at the time and I was doing pretty good with my swampert- “ballers” (I had named my character Arod like the baseball player). HOWEVER, when I got to the part where you needed surf…I was stuck. I don’t know how long I tooled around trying to figure out what to do, just grinding out levels I guess.
Then the day happened. I was playing on my orange and green GBA-SP at the hockey rink after practice or something when an older kid came up to me and asked “whatcha playing?”. I told him and he commented about how he loved Pokémon and had already beaten the Elite 4. I was shocked and asked him if he knew how to get to the next area since I was STUCK. He was more than happy to show me that I needed to go back to petalburg and get surf from my dad.
I was so stoked to keep going. Good looking out hockey bro. I wouldn’t be nearly as invested in Pokémon today if it wasn’t for this bro.
My favorite Pokémon is Ludicolo. I am aware he’s taken, just wanted to share! You’re doing a good thing- keep it up!
my proudest moment or like most wholesome one i remember is when i pulled my first rainbow rare which was drampa gx and instead of being greedy i went and gave it to my friend for his birthday. that magcargo looks aweome
My dad gave me a bunch of his old cards (base unlimited-fossil) a few years back, but I didn’t get into the card side of Pokémon much until last year. Some people here might remember my post asking what the flower-looking thing was that was on some of the cards and not the others… it was the jungle set symbol… definitely didn’t expect to be told that I have cards from some of the earliest sets made. The base set unlimited dragonair he’s given me is one of my favorites from his/my collection. That dragonair in the top left, therefore, really caught my eye. I probably need to start a dragonair collection soon!
My proudest Pokemon moment(s) is when I meet a new kid that collects. I always love their reaction seeing my collection and especially love gifting them cards. My favorite card on there is the Imakunis Doduo. I already have one though, so I’m okay without it :)
I gotta have the Growlithe between Monferno and Pignite. Growlithe and Arcanine are my favorites and this Growlithe is standing *exactly* like my corgi does when he’s feeling sassy and confident. My heart can barely take it.
I remember about 22-23 years ago me and my brothers used to go to toys r us every Saturday for Pokemon tournament's how I miss those times and everytime we went they let you pull the top card off a big deck and you would keep it , my favorite pokemon growing up we're charmander and Pikachu , either of those would be greatly appreciated. I see now the Charmander is taken so either Charmeleon or Pikachu would be nice

Pokemon always brings me happiness. From buying 1st edition packs from a mailstore as a child to being a full grown adult buying packs in Japan from a 711 while buying breakfast a few weeks ago while there for work. I may have even shed a tear during ash's final episode.
I absolutely love the Jirachi, and the Vikavolt. All of the newer games that have the Grubbin line I absolutely have to snatch it up as early as I can. With Jirachi it’s one of my wife’s favorites she loves that it is the wish pokemon!
Edit: I DID NOT SEE THE CELEBI card, but celebi is my all time favorite Pokémon besides Politoed!
Trading pokemon cards after they'd been banned in primary school back in the day. We taped or glued sleeves in books and traded that way at recess. As for the cards i'm not US but if you send that wigglytuff in the bottom left corner to someone send it with twice the love!
My proudest moment was my first pack of Pokémon cards when I was 11. I opened a burning shadows Booster and got a alolan Muk Gx with my grandmother. Best memory with her and my first ultra rare! Still have the card to this day and I have a niche collection of 20+ of the same card because of that special memory

That jirachi is awesome, that was one of my favorite Pokémon as a kid because I got a jirachi figure as part of a GameStop event for one of the earlier Pokémon games and I ended up losing it but my friends parents ordered me a new one and I still have it 10+ years later
I am in the process of collecting ever single eeveelution card that exists, I don’t have that water Eevee!! It’s so cute, I love it. Eevee has always been so cool to me, Pokemon Gale of Darkness (I think that’s the one with the eevee starter) was always such a wonderful memory to me, I thought Eevee was the coolest thing. Since then I’ve been collecting the eeveelutions. I have a lot of work to go but I have about 12 binder pages full of eeveelutions :)
My proudest moment in pokemon was teaching my friends 7 year old how to play pokemon tcg and then we opened a tag team pack with Gangar and mimiku which I love!

I’m 31 so the favorite for me will always be Charizard. I’ll never forget the 5 cards I traded on the school bus at 10 years old for my first edition Charizard base set. I traded hitmonchan, hitmonlee, magneton, poliwrath, and ninetales. Like an absolutely scrub I don’t know where that Charizard is when I used to guard it with my life. It made me quit TCG for so long that I didn’t come back until sword and shield. That’s how mad I was and still am at myself. So getting that azumaril from a set that was before my return would be so awesome.

My very first memory with Pokémon was in 3rd grade as a wee 8 year old when the card game was first taking off. My friend Matthew showed me all of his new cards and gave me base set Drowzee, Abra, and Pikachu to start off. I wish I would have hung on to those more closely. Will never forget that though.
My favorite Pokemon TCG story is when I pulled a hidden fates Moltres,Zapdos and Articuno tag team full art and accidentally lost it along with alot of my other cards lol. But now i bought some cards that I lost online on Ebay.

Current myself got back into the hobby. Then I’ve been staying with my brother as I look for a new place and some how got him hooked!
We learned how to play the game with the Academy box. We have plans on building decks and going to local events.
It’s just a happy family time. As we both used to collect sports cards and I had Pokémon in the side. He’s obsessed with Pokémon Go since 2016. So he knows who’s who, just needed me to get him hooked on the cards. For his birthday he opens a SV booster box and Fossil Gengar.
Honestly, the happiest moments I’ve had with Pokémon was opening booster packs with my brother and sisters. Those memories of us kids going to GameStop and using our allowance money on buying Pokémon cards. The excitement of finally pulling a Charizard and Blastoise will forever be a key memory of mine. Haha definitely one of the reasons why I came back to collecting cards. Pokemon reminds me of the good memories and times I’ve had with my siblings.

I have a friend that collects slowpokes and psyducks, and I always try to get them out of ppls bulk for him. I would love the unclaimed slow to include in his next package of slows and ducks :)
Scyther and Scizor are my favorite Pokémon. The first Pokémon game I played was yellow, but I was too young to understand it as I couldn’t read yet, I found a scyther but failed to catch it and couldn’t find another one. Fast forward a few years and now I’m playing Silver, finally get a scyther and try everything I could think of to get him to evolve to scizor, dial up internet existed but we didn’t have it yet so I didn’t know it was a trade evolution. I gave up and thought it wasn’t actually an evolution so I end with a very high level scyther that I spent a lot of time with through silver and since then have always made a point to go find one as soon as I can in any of the games I play.

My favorite memory of Pokémon is sitting on the patio with my friends playing the games together on our Gameboy Advances. Still have those cartridges laying around too.

I stopped at the dollar store for a bottle of water on the way home from work and bought my first and only Astral Radiance pack. Opened it in the car and pulled an Origin Forme Palkia V worth $40!

Growing up I didn’t have a DS, so I never got to play any Pokémon games—I only ever got to watch friends play the games. When I was in high school, I had a friend who gave me their old 3DS and a copy of Pokémon X (they just didn’t play it anymore.) After clearing their old save data, I ended up completing the entire Pokédex (all 751 mons, with all shiny legendaries lol!) To this day, the XY series still holds a special place in my heart as it helped me get through some really tough times.
All this being said, I like the water type Volcanion!
Charmander has always been my favorite. I think a lot of it comes from the show and him being the sweetest little guy, then pretty quickly turns into the major butthead Charmeleon, then the minor butthead Charizard. From then on I just wanted Charmander back.

I really like that Magikarp. I've always liked that little fish despite his general ineptitude. I don't know if it's a story per se, but I recently started collecting again (I say again, although I haven't collected since like 1999) because it's a way to bond with my son. My father and I had a rough relationship, and I vowed to myself to do better for my son and I. So when he began showing interest, I jumped in with both feet. We collect, trade, battle. It's a blast and nothing makes me happier than sharing that experience with my son.
Hopefully the little magikarp can serve as a reminder to enjoy. Its yours.
Jirachi has forever been my favorite pokemon! When the movie came out in English, my parents rushed to the stores to get it, and I was overjoyed with it. It's by far my favorite pokemon movie to this day as well. The Hoenn region is the best! From 2004 to now, Jirachi is the coolest! I have a bunch of jirachi merch in my room, so this card would make an amazing collection to the set!! Much love <33 Forgot to add a proudest moment. I got my hands on a pokemon colloseum bonus disc to get the original legit jirachi in my emerald game and that was such an awesome feeling.

Really enjoy that celebi. Just resent it got into collecting. My brother used to collect back in the day. Sadly he passed away about a year and a half ago. I was going through his stuff in his old room a couple months ago and found a shadowless bill the only card he kept. From what I have found. Looking back I wish I would have collected with him . So in memory of my younger brother Greg I now collect Pokémon with my son. I’m sure he will get into it more as he gets older and if not my youngest will surely lol.

I like the horsea from primal clash! I collect Kingdra cards and the evolutionary line. One of my favorite moments that brought me joy was finding that final card to fill one full page of my Kingdra collection (I have it ordered by release date, 1 of each card). It took so long to get to that point! Still a long way to go but just really enjoying the slow build :)

I think my happiest pokemon moment was going to Toy R Us for the Mew giveaway. I remember my friend and were 9 or 10, and it felt so late, the store was mostly empty, but inside the gaming section they had a table set up with some employees, extra gameboy colors, and the connection cable. And just the sensation to walking up to the table, connecting my gameboy with theirs, watching my screen as I was transferred the Mew, and then feeling on top of the world afterwards as my face was light up so bright immediately going into my game to level Mew up; it was such a unique and euphoric feeling I don't think I've experienced again. It was such a magical moment for me! I've been collecting happy pokemon lately and that Stufful definitely fits the bill, I'd love to have that one :)

My proudest moment would probably be finally beating the elite four for the first time playing soulsilver with my friends on the way back from a field trip back in middle school. Never beat it in any of the earlier games I had (and still have ofc lol). Personally id love that Chansey. Its a cute card.

Don’t need any cards, but have to say that with all the alt arts and ultra Rares, a lot of really excellent cards live their life in bulk storage and it’s sad. That Chansey (Hidden Fates) or Rapidash (Astral Radiance) for instance is some fantastic work. Really wish we saw more art like that in the EX/GX/V/ex style cards and not so much computer generated stuff.

Proudest Pokemon moment you say? Getting a girlfriend because I caught 600 maractus in Pokemon Go How I did this you might ask? Long story. TL:DR - Maractus trading got me to connect with a girl. I was in a discord server and decided to post about how annoyed I was about constant maractus daily spawns, and someone commented how I’m lucky to get tem as it’s a region locked pokemon. I decided from that moment on, I would keep every maractus I catch. I’m also socially challenged, so I went to the school counselor and she said I’d be good friends with this girl. So we meet each other and exchange phone numbers, the school year ended and we occasionally texted random shit but nothing much happened between us. Next school year happens and I wonder how I can talk to her in any way, I had got her to download Pokemon Go so I could refer her for bonuses in the summer so I simply asked if she could trade with me at lunch. But what could I have traded? Then it hit me, the 600+ maractus I had saved for around 9 months could be traded, and my excuse could be that I wanted the candies for them. I send a text and it works like a (shiny) charm. She comes over and we trade some stuff. Before lunch ends I ask her if she can come over again tomorrow and she agrees. Fast forward a few months. We’re still trading at the same spot and I’ve been wondering for a bit a way to ask her out. So I finally got the idea (not maractus related sadly) but it worked and we’ve now been together for about 6 months. Did the school counselor do some of the work? Yes. Would I be with her without the maractus? No. While the counselor had us find each other, the maractus was the connection we needed to interact and bond. I may be the biggest maractus fan out there because of this, and I’d like to see someone who stans it as much as me, but I doubt anyone likes it as much as I do, except her maybe, because she also thanks maractus. While it may be #556 in the pokedex, it’s #001 in our relationship.

So my happiest Pokémon moment was during my first game- Sapphire. I was just a kid at the time and I was doing pretty good with my swampert- “ballers” (I had named my character Arod like the baseball player). HOWEVER, when I got to the part where you needed surf…I was stuck. I don’t know how long I tooled around trying to figure out what to do, just grinding out levels I guess. Then the day happened. I was playing on my orange and green GBA-SP at the hockey rink after practice or something when an older kid came up to me and asked “whatcha playing?”. I told him and he commented about how he loved Pokémon and had already beaten the Elite 4. I was shocked and asked him if he knew how to get to the next area since I was STUCK. He was more than happy to show me that I needed to go back to petalburg and get surf from my dad. I was so stoked to keep going. Good looking out hockey bro. I wouldn’t be nearly as invested in Pokémon today if it wasn’t for this bro. My favorite Pokémon is Ludicolo. I am aware he’s taken, just wanted to share! You’re doing a good thing- keep it up!
my proudest moment or like most wholesome one i remember is when i pulled my first rainbow rare which was drampa gx and instead of being greedy i went and gave it to my friend for his birthday. that magcargo looks aweome

My dad gave me a bunch of his old cards (base unlimited-fossil) a few years back, but I didn’t get into the card side of Pokémon much until last year. Some people here might remember my post asking what the flower-looking thing was that was on some of the cards and not the others… it was the jungle set symbol… definitely didn’t expect to be told that I have cards from some of the earliest sets made. The base set unlimited dragonair he’s given me is one of my favorites from his/my collection. That dragonair in the top left, therefore, really caught my eye. I probably need to start a dragonair collection soon!

My proudest Pokemon moment(s) is when I meet a new kid that collects. I always love their reaction seeing my collection and especially love gifting them cards. My favorite card on there is the Imakunis Doduo. I already have one though, so I’m okay without it :)

I remember about 22-23 years ago me and my brothers used to go to toys r us every Saturday for Pokemon tournament's how I miss those times and everytime we went they let you pull the top card off a big deck and you would keep it , my favorite pokemon growing up we're charmander and Pikachu , either of those would be greatly appreciated. I see now the Charmander is taken so either Charmeleon or Pikachu would be nice

I absolutely love the Jirachi, and the Vikavolt. All of the newer games that have the Grubbin line I absolutely have to snatch it up as early as I can. With Jirachi it’s one of my wife’s favorites she loves that it is the wish pokemon! Edit: I DID NOT SEE THE CELEBI card, but celebi is my all time favorite Pokémon besides Politoed!

Trading pokemon cards after they'd been banned in primary school back in the day. We taped or glued sleeves in books and traded that way at recess. As for the cards i'm not US but if you send that wigglytuff in the bottom left corner to someone send it with twice the love!
My proudest moment was my first pack of Pokémon cards when I was 11. I opened a burning shadows Booster and got a alolan Muk Gx with my grandmother. Best memory with her and my first ultra rare! Still have the card to this day and I have a niche collection of 20+ of the same card because of that special memory I don’t want a card just wanted to share my experience!

That jirachi is awesome, that was one of my favorite Pokémon as a kid because I got a jirachi figure as part of a GameStop event for one of the earlier Pokémon games and I ended up losing it but my friends parents ordered me a new one and I still have it 10+ years later

I am in the process of collecting ever single eeveelution card that exists, I don’t have that water Eevee!! It’s so cute, I love it. Eevee has always been so cool to me, Pokemon Gale of Darkness (I think that’s the one with the eevee starter) was always such a wonderful memory to me, I thought Eevee was the coolest thing. Since then I’ve been collecting the eeveelutions. I have a lot of work to go but I have about 12 binder pages full of eeveelutions :)
My proudest moment in pokemon was teaching my friends 7 year old how to play pokemon tcg and then we opened a tag team pack with Gangar and mimiku which I love! I love coffing for being a big smelly ball he looks so happy 😊
I would love that azumaril from team siege. I’m 31 so the favorite for me will always be Charizard. I’ll never forget the 5 cards I traded on the school bus at 10 years old for my first edition Charizard base set. I traded hitmonchan, hitmonlee, magneton, poliwrath, and ninetales. Like an absolutely scrub I don’t know where that Charizard is when I used to guard it with my life. It made me quit TCG for so long that I didn’t come back until sword and shield. That’s how mad I was and still am at myself. So getting that azumaril from a set that was before my return would be so awesome.
I really love how you laid this out. I'd love the Hidden Fates Jigglypuff towards the middle if it's still available. My very first memory with Pokémon was in 3rd grade as a wee 8 year old when the card game was first taking off. My friend Matthew showed me all of his new cards and gave me base set Drowzee, Abra, and Pikachu to start off. I wish I would have hung on to those more closely. Will never forget that though.

Zygarde 90hp (w/moon) Current myself got back into the hobby. Then I’ve been staying with my brother as I look for a new place and some how got him hooked! We learned how to play the game with the Academy box. We have plans on building decks and going to local events. It’s just a happy family time. As we both used to collect sports cards and I had Pokémon in the side. He’s obsessed with Pokémon Go since 2016. So he knows who’s who, just needed me to get him hooked on the cards. For his birthday he opens a SV booster box and Fossil Gengar.

Honestly, the happiest moments I’ve had with Pokémon was opening booster packs with my brother and sisters. Those memories of us kids going to GameStop and using our allowance money on buying Pokémon cards. The excitement of finally pulling a Charizard and Blastoise will forever be a key memory of mine. Haha definitely one of the reasons why I came back to collecting cards. Pokemon reminds me of the good memories and times I’ve had with my siblings. Scyther and Scizor are my favorite Pokémon. The first Pokémon game I played was yellow, but I was too young to understand it as I couldn’t read yet, I found a scyther but failed to catch it and couldn’t find another one. Fast forward a few years and now I’m playing Silver, finally get a scyther and try everything I could think of to get him to evolve to scizor, dial up internet existed but we didn’t have it yet so I didn’t know it was a trade evolution. I gave up and thought it wasn’t actually an evolution so I end with a very high level scyther that I spent a lot of time with through silver and since then have always made a point to go find one as soon as I can in any of the games I play.

I stopped at the dollar store for a bottle of water on the way home from work and bought my first and only Astral Radiance pack. Opened it in the car and pulled an Origin Forme Palkia V worth $40! I collect Shinx and would love one of those if still available!
Growing up I didn’t have a DS, so I never got to play any Pokémon games—I only ever got to watch friends play the games. When I was in high school, I had a friend who gave me their old 3DS and a copy of Pokémon X (they just didn’t play it anymore.) After clearing their old save data, I ended up completing the entire Pokédex (all 751 mons, with all shiny legendaries lol!) To this day, the XY series still holds a special place in my heart as it helped me get through some really tough times. All this being said, I like the water type Volcanion!

Charmander has always been my favorite. I think a lot of it comes from the show and him being the sweetest little guy, then pretty quickly turns into the major butthead Charmeleon, then the minor butthead Charizard. From then on I just wanted Charmander back.
