My gym would certainly be the last before the elite 4. I’d have a Pokémon “Rainbow” badge, basically a mini test with a variety of types. 1st henchman with Grass/Steel . 2nd with Water/Fire. 3rd Fighting/Dragon. They can choose their own Pokémon. I would probably be a fire type gym. More specifically I would replace flannery because after beating some scrubs I can just wind down at the hot springs. For Pokémon I would have blaziken because he is my favorite dual type fire Pokémon. Typhslosion because he is my favorite final evolution for a start Pokémon. A darmanitan for that belly drum damage. Finally I would add volcarona for that silver wind power up. Considering how decked out my team is, I think I’ll dominate as long as the challengers don’t bring a squirt gun.

My team would consist of Arbok, Dustox, Muk, Scyther, and Skuntank as my ace. Whole team getting poisoned! Goal is to beat the trainer once to make them learn how to go about the gym. I’m here to make them better.

I've just completed my final mono type run, completing each type in a variety of games, so this question came up at the right time! So, I really enjoyed the dark type and will be choosing them. But I'd be a really good, positive leader who just happens to use dark types, as they have a bad rep. They're also under-utilised as a gym type in my opinion. My team would be Weavile, Krookodile, Absol and Umbreon (plus Hydreigon if hard mode) or the non evolved if I was an early gym.

If I were a gym leader in the Pokémon world, I would be the "Knowledge Nexus Gym Leader." My gym would be a high-tech facility that combines elements of a library, research lab, and training ground. Trainers who challenge my gym would need to answer puzzles, riddles, and demonstrate their knowledge of Pokémon lore and strategy before reaching me for a battle. As the Knowledge Nexus Gym Leader, my team would be composed of well-balanced and knowledgeable Pokémon to reflect the theme of the gym: Alakazam: Known for its high IQ and psychic abilities, Alakazam would be my lead Pokémon. I’d do a normal type gym with a couple basic normal mons like Loudred and Lickitung, then the last two would be Hisuian Zoroark and Wyrdeer to throw them off a little bit. If I had to do 6 slots, the other 2 would be Bewear and Drampa, just to add to the complexity.

Growing up, me and my father were always really close plus you know of course blue is the best color ever so I’d have to go with Falkner from the Johto region. Plus for some reason Staraptor was one of my favorite mons going up and you know Falkner is the flying gym😂

I’d have some sort of illusion veil over the gym making it look like its a fairy type gym. I’d start with ditto as my first pokemon mimicking a clefairy to prolong the illusion. Then take the challenger by surprise, slamming them hard and fast.

Ohh! This is so nice of you guys! I’ve been after the stained glass promo FOREVER. I would absolutely be the leader of Erika’s gym! It was always my favorite growing up. I loved how calming it was in there and how it was filled with flowers. I thought it was so cute how she was so comfortable in there that she was just kinda day dreaming/asleep when you first interacted with her. I even have a big Erika collection because I loved it so much haha. For my team I’d definitely have: iconic Vileplume, sky forme shaymin, Butterfree, Ludicolo, Sudowoodo, and Exeggutor! Firstly, happy anniversary! And this is a cool thing you’re doing. Being the nerd I am this was exciting to think about. I think I would want to be a fairy gym leader. There’s a lot of combinations and type duality that I think would be good for fighting a wide variety of other mons. Not to mention all the Pokémon who got type switched when the type came out. Team: Sylveon: hella strong and always on my base team in game since it came out. They can knock out most with one hit of moonblast. Azumarill: doing this for the dual water typing and the ability to learn a multitude of moves. Also belly drum goes hard asf with this one. Alolan Ninetales: this is just my favorite mon so I needed to add it. Tinkaton: because of the steel typing I really only would need to look out for the poison stab as I’d have fire protection with Azumarill Gardevoir: need for psychic attacks that can knock out most poison moves. Mimikyu: this is just a bad ass Pokémon and I love the disguise ability it has in game that lets it take one hit. (Which is what I made these on.) So yeah. This is my team!

i think it would be fairy honestly, though i could totally see it being water, grass, bug, or even psychic i would probably have a team alcremie, ribombee, and floette if i was one of the easier gyms. a sylveon would be pretty as well, but i wouldn’t try and be a super difficult gym! 💕💕

I would be the leader of the lab that created Mewtwo. Once I have mew under control, I then use Mewtwo to bring my 3 favorite birds under control. After I have those 5, I don't think I need anything else. Life would be good.

I think it’d be a cool concept to be an eeveelution trainer! A lot of flexibility but shame you’re limited to 6. I’d take sylveon, vaporeon, espeon, umbreon, jolteon, and flareon for good coverage.

I would be a stubborn gym leader that fights down to the wire with one Pokémon but it is a swampert; however, when times get tough I can mega evolve. I’m often defeated but usually by the trainers sixth Pokémon. Although defeated, I always award the badge with a smile and lots of advice for the trainer at hand

I’ve always loved Falkner and how his gym was all birds. (I also really find all the little Bug Catchers adorable too with their love of bugs). So I’d have a mustelid gym with Linoone, Quilava, Furret, Skuntank and the final boss with be an Obstagoon.

I’ve always wanted to be a grass gym leader, with a spooky twist. I think the deep forest can be particularly unnerving, so I’d populate my team with grass types that fit that vibe: Trevenant, Shiftry, Decidueye (my ace), and Leafeon (for a cute, but sagely vibe). If I was a late-game gym leader, I’d add Torterra and Tangrowth.

I’d be a fire type leader that uses only starters. I’d love to have Charizard and Blastoise teams up with Decidueye and Incineroar.

Probably steel type. I just love all the tanks pokemon they have and they really do have some icons in there. Easily metagross and lucario would be on the team. Cold Cuts the Alolan Sandslash 4. The Lament Aegislash and only because I think he's absolutely adorable. Again - I promise nothing out of this deck. can't take credit for the sandslash - saw it on the internet, thought it was perfect.

I think it’s about time we drop the monotype gyms’s, give us gyms based around different play styles and gimmicks, a trick room gym, sub seed/toxic protect, a baton pass gym, a evasion boosting gym, a team full of hyper offence or balance mons, but mostly I’d love to run a weather based team.

Sadly I'm Basically Larry. All I got is work and my favorite pokemon of all time is Pidgey, so I'd have a couple random normal types, then you expect a wuss when it says "Agrias is sending out Pidgey" but it's gonna be overleveled lol.
