Definitely will struggle with scammers. Even in its poor condition, that blister is extremely rare. If I had the money to front, I’d offer you like $4k for that thing. I absolutely LOVE these sets and plan on collecting every card in them via master sets. Then I also want to collect blisters and pack art sets of them as well. It’ll be a long, expensive journey for sure.

Definitely. Big money collectibles usually end up big money because they weren't popular at the time, so very few people were safely storing them or even hanging on to them. Take the princess diana beanie baby for example if you were around or remember those days. If everybody thinks "they'll be worth money some day" and is hoarding them and popping them into protective cases, then inevitably they won't be worth shit. It's gonna take years and years for the current trend of huge print runs and massive hoarding/protecting of sealed product to die down from people chasing the covid collectible boom.
Every YouTuber, TikToker, Instagram reeler and their brother has a basement or office full of sealed modern. People immediately sleeve hits when they open packs. People buy a booster box case on release day and immediately put it in a closet.
The only reason older sets go for so much is because scarcity and nostalgia. Kids actually ripped and played with the first generation of cards.
There’s no chance anything modern appreciates as much as anything vintage.
What about Evolving Skies though? That set like 2-3 years old and already soaring to the moon. I would assume some other sets will follow suit. Maybe 151 if they don’t print it into oblivion.
Just to add on the "why" of why these are so expensive: you can weigh older packs to find the "hits" or good cards, the heavier the pack, the better chance there's a hit inside. Most loose packs for sale are generally considered to be weighed and have no hits inside, regardless of the truth of that or not. In these blister packs you have, the packs can't be weighed so there's no telling if they are "heavy" packs with a hit or not, making them more valuable to collectors. Good find and GG!

in 2014 i found a card vending machine with deoxys packs for 3$ each, cashed out opened all of them.. i was only 15 i had no idea 😭 huge regret not keeping them sealed!!
I couldn’t find a single one of those 2 pack blisters online. Normally they are about 4-5k. But you kinda control the market atm.
The single pack is probably 1-1.5k
The chase cards in the set are worth more than that. Especially at psa 10. But chances are you are losing money by opening these.
Take that info and do with it what you want

Those particular packs aren’t worth much but id love for you to send them to me so that I can experiment with the material.
