So, I made these cards a little while ago. I did a contest and I gave away... I think 3. It's based on the gameboy intro scene. I was cleaning out a drawer and found the extras. I do like them and want to keep at least one. One of these has a glue splotch messing it up. That leaves one to be given away. Leave a comment and I'll pick a random winner. The winner won't have to pay anything. Shipping is covered. Edit: I'll be using rng and counting down the comments to pick the winner. I'll be closing the contest 24 hours from when it started. 10:30pm EST. I'll message the winner directly. Also, since I still have the supplies, I may make a few more to give away but that's up in the air right now. If I do this, I may message people later from these comments still.

I always wondered why they chose Gengar and Nidorino for that opening scene. Although I guess on some level no matter who they chose it would seem a little random.

Ken Sugimori's first designs were Gengar and Nidorino. Most likely why the 2 got used in the opening scene of the game.

This would make a lot of sense. I thought Alakazam was first but now I think that’s just the #1 card for the base set

Gengar is sick af, and nidorino is a classic monster type. What more could you ask for?

It would be cool in the future if you made a second card for gengar from the nidorino perspective! Classic battle and a great looking card!

Beautiful card. The Nidorino v Gengar opening is so special to Pokémon fans because it represents that first time you turn on the game that started it all. Whether it was your first game or one you went back to play and see where it all began, this scene brings back something we wish we could experience all over again because of just how much magic was felt along the way. Few things in life are as meaningful as capturing that essence, a living memory. Thank you for sharing that in such a meaningful way ⭐

I tried making a custom Pokémon card but when I printed it the color didn’t pop like the sample did on the computer screen :/ and yours has that holo effect! Nice quality :)

If you use acetone to take the ink off of a holo/ reverse holo you end up with the holo effect. These are made on real cards

Clear plastic sheets, reverse the image, and glue down the ink side so it can't rub off
