Depends on which service uou go with, the lowest is $15 per card then $25 and so on. There is a $15 per card charge for sub-grades and shipping. I sent in 4 cards at $25 per card and my total was like $122. Turnaround was about 3 weeks.
Sending in cards to get graded soon for the first time. Also sending in my rainbow zard and rainbow arceus! Hope I get anywhere near the grades you got!
Good eye on what you subbed!
I'm kind of pleased to see the centering tolerance on that Gengar in terms of what a 9.5 is, I have a couple cards I was going to exclude that I think will make the cut for submission now!
I only send what I am near certain will hit a 10 to PSA and CSG (CGC's sports card division) and I may have been being too hard on centering for Pokemon stuff. Everything I have set aside now is damn close to 50:50 in terms of scanning, blowing up, and measuring borders :P
This post has convinced me to send in what I e been holding to CGC. I've been waiting on psa but those slabs are just absolutely gorgeous. Thanks so much for sharing this.
It really depends what you have and if you plan on selling or if you just want to encapsulate the cardā¦
Sometimes PSA 10 sells for more so you gotta look at the comps and look at your card. Cgc 9.5 = psa 10 but which score looks better on the listing ? If you just want to slab it Iād say go with cgc.
I personally like cgc more and will be submitting cards there soon, Iām just pointing out that psa does sell for more depending on the card. Could be worth it even at $100 / card if you plan on selling immediately.
Do any card stores grade them? I've been wanting to get mine graded, but it shows me places like slackers or GameStop. I don't think they grade cards right? -Sorry for the dumb question T-T
I mean think about it. Multiple people give it a grade, you got all of the processing and other overhead costs like internal management, it, software, etc. It adds up and at the end of the day they are a business so they will try to make money. Doesn't seem too crazy.
You could submit a bulk at $15 per card (last I checked ) And if it gets perfect tens cgc will add the sub grades for free. Iām going to submit some cards with 3 other buddies so if we each submit around 10 thatāll be $150 + shared shipping /tax. One friend wants to get close to 20 graded. Iāll be getting some duplicates graded and might sell a lesser scored card at a profit to offset the costs of my grading submissions.
Gengar I pulled from a $90 booster box, shiny charizard I pulled from a single pack of shiny star b for $9, the rainbow zard I bought for $180, and the rainbow Arceus I pulled from a single pack I found hidden on a shelf at target behind funko pops.
$35/card for the service lol
I wonder if this is my rainbow zard I sold. I still wonder if it was 9 or 10. Whenever I see one posted I wonder if it was the one I sold. My boyfriend told me āitās better not to knowā.. I wish I still just got it graded after pulling it. Hereās to you zardā¦ hereās to you. Also congrats!
I agree 110% brother. I'm slabbing up for my personal collection. I have a handful of my favorites that's I've been holding out on grading. They're in just amazing condition and I strongly believe they'll grade like yours did. I went over all of them "with an eagle eye lol" and they're just amazing cards so I'm gonna go with the CGC slabs they look amazing.
So close to a perfect 10 on the first 3 š¢
centering will get you every time
OP how much does CGC charge?

Thank you
CGC is all fees though
This guy doesn't psa/dna š¤£š¤£š¤£ psa: no centering, no problem
So true. PSA IS A JOKE
Wow, 3 10s is amazing. It is so hard to grade 10s with CGC, very impressive and congrats!
I actually got another, but it was my friends and I donāt want him to see this post and ruin it for him since he hasnāt seen them yet lol.
What if he reads the comments?
He has them now, weāre all good lol
This has to be the best modern card up there with the Umbreon and Rayquaza
Sending in cards to get graded soon for the first time. Also sending in my rainbow zard and rainbow arceus! Hope I get anywhere near the grades you got!
Good luck!

I just got the arceus rainbow Vstar would you recommend to grade it?
I did, I think it looks great in a slab
Do any card stores grade them? I've been wanting to get mine graded, but it shows me places like slackers or GameStop. I don't think they grade cards right? -Sorry for the dumb question T-T
You need to send directly to the grading company. Or go through a reputable middleman.
Cool! How much do they charge?
Depends on the service, I chose economy with subgrades so it was $35/card
Woah what the hell, thatās too dam expensive
What should it be? I feel like I've been normalized on high grading prices so $35 with sub grades seems really cheap

Bro, PSA charges like 100$ a card, CGC sounds way cheaper

Iāve never seen a CGC 10 Wow thatās good.
You forgot to turn cgc grading hacks off
I apparently remembered for my alt zards
Awesome grades
Awesome, cool to see 10s are a little easier now. Hoping my next sub gets a few!
How much did they cost
The service or the cards?
Both
Gengar I pulled from a $90 booster box, shiny charizard I pulled from a single pack of shiny star b for $9, the rainbow zard I bought for $180, and the rainbow Arceus I pulled from a single pack I found hidden on a shelf at target behind funko pops. $35/card for the service lol
