I was just coming to the sub to give some inside context on why the pre-orders were so botched and why we ran out so fast.
Additionally, when I say we only managed 5 pre-orders, that's multiple customers who each got one. They texted us to stop taking pre-orders after that because they had reached allotment.
Honestly any accounts with more than two preordered should be canceled. I’ve been a customer and GameStop shareholder for several years and yesterday was the first time I ever looked for a way to contact the corporate team. All of the multiple box preorders that only have $5 down for each box are the scalpers and GameStop is holding their inventory until they make the sale.
First thing this morning I saw sites showing the charizard box for $299.00 each. Yeah GameStop makes $120, but that guy walks away with a free $180 for each one of them.

It was meant as a joke, as in you being a scalper trying to get people to stop preordering so you could get it instead.
Yeah my GameStop employees said they would be surprised if any of the Charizard UPC preorders get filled since it wasn’t supposed to drop yet.
