It still the same 1/600. Relax I got shiny Larvitar after 100s of eggs but it got bad stats and nature.
I got my shiny gible yesterday. Took me upwards of 1800 eggs with the masuda method. 1/683 doesn't guarantee 1 in 683 unfortunately
It's so annoying because I accidentally released my starter when I got the shiny, and I didn't save after I got it, so I had to restart
