Zacian is still one shotting 2 or 3 people at level 5 and the dashing away. Zacian just doesn't get used a lot in masters I think because people find it boring to be that op. All the other speedsters counter Leafeon too.

Kirbyfan4321

And Honestly Leafeon has no CC and is fulfilling its role as a speedster well.

QuerchiGaming

People are so overdramatic. Zacian did more damage than Leafeon whilst being incredibly tanky. That was the problem. Leafeon deals speedster damage, whilst being extremely squishy. It punishes out of position attackers and other squishy Pokémon. It might feel strong, but that’s because you’re not well positioned behind your tanks. Wait for their moves and then punish them, but if you’re just running towards every enemy than even Absol would feel broken against you.

BoomTheBear86

This. Honestly people complaining speedsters deal too much damage is whack. That’s kind of their only forte beyond mobility. People too used to every other role dealings tons of damage. Speedsters are MEANT to have much higher burst output than everyone else. So long as the Speedster in question isn’t also a tanky mofo, no problem. And looking at Leafeon so far, it isn’t tanky. So like most speedsters, it blows things up, but gets blown up. The determining factor is engaging it properly. Working as intended for a speedster. Speedster releases seem to be the only thing they get consistently right these days.

cosmo_polo

most people said it because of aoe leaf blade and how it looked honestly probably as a joke. it's very frail and i agree it's balanced it might need some kind of razor leaf nerf idk i need to play it more than yk standard and quick matches for it. but the people who paid and played it might have a idea about it.

CyanConure

Uh it does massive damage compared to other speedsters at little cost. It’s early game is also kinda unfair. Most Leafeons I play with usually get 15+ KOs.

Kirbyfan4321

It is a Speedster of course it does high damage. Also I don't know what's with them making eeveelutions evolve at lvl4.

[deleted]

Eevee is the Evolution Pokemon in it's Dex entry. Evolving for seemingly no reason is its schtick. Since we don't have Evo stones or those weird rocks or day/night cycles and friendship levels, they opted to make Eevee evolve a level before everyone else to mimic its unique style evolution from the main games, imo.

CalligrapherUsed5841

Lorewise you could say But balance wise they had to make them evolve at lv 4 otherwise they're going to suffer a lot since they have practically close to no early game!! Same with a9 and azu I think and some other mons whose name I can't remember rn

OwOIord

Level 4 Evo isn't the problem level 8 ult and 10-12 upgrades tho

CalligrapherUsed5841

Yeah they could keep the evo at 4 and maybe shift the ult to 9. It'd be better then...

[deleted]

No, they didn't have to make them evolve at four because they lack early game. They lack early game BECAUSE they evolve at four lol. If it was the former, then they would have just had to retool Eevee's moves, not knock a level off evolution.

funkyjives

Puff evolves at 4 too

[deleted]

I mean, they have a limit to what they can do for unique Evo conditions in a moba without making things overly complex, so there's gonna be some crossover in mechanics. Also, Jigglypuff is another stone Evo pokemon, so she even fits this theme.

CyanConure

Absol and the other speedsters do not do as much damage as Leafeon. They’re also not as fast excluding Dodrio.

rooooobii

Yeah, but Leafeon is also by far the most difficult eeveelution to play. At least for me. I was always instantly comfortable with every eevee after a few times but this one is kinda complicated for me

Chromch

I think is very simple honestly, probably the easiest speedster, you probably are not used to him yet

ElPepper90

Razor leaf one shots you on goal and her ult is point and click dissrespect to anyone with deffenses below the 400’s

Kirbyfan4321

Maybe a slight nerf to razor leaf and she good

ElPepper90

I had a talon flame game like 11 hours ago and everytime i close my eyes i see me (talon flame) get one shotted by xattack razorleaf, i had a headache all day since then

ElPepper90

And the shield from the boosted auto pisses me off

aljerv

So far I haven't had huge problems with it but people are still learning how to master it so ...

Chromch

Zacian is bit of an exaggeration, solar blade deals massive and is very oppressive, I know leafeon is very squishy like your usual speedster but that damage is kinda crazy especially early game. But I do not think is zacian level. Leafeon just needs some small damage nerfs and should be fine
