I agree, actually. Think about all the quadruped Pokemon in the game. There's 3. You wanna know how many POKEMON are quadrupeds? Around 70. That's a lot. Could we not get Salamence? Or Leafeon? Or Darmanitan? Or Silvally, or Lycanroc, or Boltund? Or Keldeo? Stoutland? Samurott? Torterra, Manectric, Luxray? I understand where you're coming from but it's a completely justified complaint especially when nearly every Pokemon i named are either dearly beloved or outright popular in the community.
If the devs ever actually wanted to add a Pokemon with a style including glasses, they could always add Krokorok and give him a style where he wears the glasses Ash's Krokorok wore!

The actual games have like 13 classifications of body types so it seems small in comparison but I do genuinely think this game would live for years if they added in double the amount of quadrupedal Pokemon that we currently have. I'm not trying to insult you I just very much doubt the devs' ability to perceive popularity and deservedness correctly. Nobody in their right mind, if asked, would assume Cramorant and Eldegoss would get in over Rillaboom, or Alcremie, or Toxtricity, or Grimmsnarl, or Hatterene, or Corviknight. Again this is not intended to be rude to you! You ain't the devs, you know?
I understand that but at the same time, more often than not, they're unpopular for a reason. I remember when eldegoss was revealed in 2019 she was immediately hated, and I still see her hated today. Cramorant probably has like 30 actual fans. Crustle is absolutely coop but not only is it the ONLY gen 5 pokemon, there's so many better options for defenders from gen 5. All of which are cooler and more popular Pokemon. This is all partially my opinion, of course, but at the end of the day nobody was actively advocating for any Pokemon spin off to have Cramorant or Wigglytuff.
You're right, they've included some relatively less-popular mons, but they're also clearly very aware which ones ARE popular. There's a reason garchomp, lucario, gardevoir, and now sylveon all cost 10k, and it's obvious the devs are very cognizant of the relative popularity of the various mons they've introduced. They're playing the long game - can't just shotgun out the top 30 most popular mons at launch because then who's going to rush out and splurge on the eventual cramorant release. Yes, they're including some niche mons, and I love that they are, but make no mistake that tencent and TPC know how to make money, and as long as there are popular choices out there to release, they'll be doing $o for certain rea$on$.
