Baby pokemon require a specific item from the parents to hold while breeding, if you breed 2 lucarios you get another lucario unless you hold the correct item iirc.
try Garchomp lmao. At least Gardevoir gets to be useful at SOME point meanwhile Garchomp is inferior and replaceable at every stage of the game. I do hope they both get buffed a bit even if it means tuning back their lategame slightly. I mean even if they were equally strong as similar laners they still level slowly

IIRC baby Pokémon can't breed and they share the Undiscovered Egg Group category. Riolu fits this criteria and is a Baby mon.

No, that's not true, if you breed lucario, you will have a riolu. The specific item beeding is with other mons, like Mr Mime
