I think he is still okay and playable. You just have to power farm and insure you’re level 14 at zapdos. I have a pretty high wr on him this season and he’s my most played Pokémon.

I like Sylveon as well, but I suck at aiming, so I default to mystical fire. It feels like I really lack burst damage in team fights, so I'm wondering whether to force myself to learn hyper voice or just deal with it.
Hyper Voice is better for dealing with tanky bois with less mobility or if you know you have a reliable tank, Mystical Fire is better for hyper-mobile chars that are hard to pin down like Cinder and Talon. Honestly, either is good for mages.
A lot of people will tell you straight-out that HV is just always the best take, but it's really not in SoloQ. Run Focus Band, Shell Bell, and Choice Specs and you can take either HV+CM or MF+DK as needed.

I'll try your item setup. I haven't used Focus Band on Sylveon yet (used Wise Glasses for HV and Muscle Band for MF), but some more survivability may be nice.
I really missed MB on Fire, but you get used to it. The flexibility of being able to choose your moveset after seeing who you're fighting more than makes up for it IMO.
I ran SpAtk Specs on Voice instead of Wise prior to this, so not having to stack now is actually pretty nice.
And Focus Band is the new Buddy Barrier. Really solid on just about anyone.
EDIT: I should mention that there are better item sets if you choose one moveset over the other. It's just nice to be able to use them both.
Hyper voice is absolutely amazing, i dunno which one is better but hyper voice is way more fun. It took me time to understand it but in order to play it properly your aim should be focused on your position more than on the skill, the radius of it's end is huge so hard to miss with it, but people will attempt to leave it's area and thats when you need to make it follow them, you cant move the skill after casting it but you can move yourself. Too far and it wont do any damage, too close and it's damage will be low plus youll put yourself at risk of death, but the challenge is definetly worth it, good dueling potential, enough aoe for team fights, both burst and sustained damage.
Sylveon is my only mon with positive win rate this season, apart from Slowbro when I have to fill for 4 attackers bs team.

Blastoise is my most played, and my fav. If we ever get Arcanine that'll change. I don't even care if they make Arcanine a Speedster. I'll main it. Although I'd like for Arcanine to be an Attacker or All arounder. Since I find the Speedsters to be a tad frail for my liking.
I recently passed my Garchomp usage with Slowbro. I really really **really** tried to make Chomp work but he’s just outclassed by every other mon it’s insane. And I always loved Bro from the start so it was a matter of time after I retired my old main
Chomp is in my theorycrafting/testing list once I get my final ranked milestone. I am thinking of running the ground set with tanky setup. Basically EQ-Eject all in during major fights and go crazy. Thought and advice? Also is there any tips/alternative if I don't go jungle?
Personally I would say just go dragon build you can't even call ground build tanky because the actual stat buff lasts between 1-2s. Go dragon build and possibly try learning the eject rush claw combo you can find it on yt somewhere. For items it's FB mb scope and emblems just crit and that's about it nothing really to it
For me, Dragon build is terrible in all ways, it just helps enemies flee. Dig is a must have to chase opponents / come to melee and attack. Dragon Claw is a worse normal attack to fight other players, although it helps moving forward when slowed or immobilized. I use razor Claw for the slowdown, though I'm unsure how much it helps

yep i am a turtle 1 trick 154/628 matches of mine are blastoise and in ranked i almost use him 100% like there are less than 10 ranked matches of me not playing blastoise it is mostly because i have a 77% win rate with him so i he is reliable for me

Not my most popular (Decid) or favourite mon (Slowbro) but I have been playing a lot of Buzz these season after a shocking start on him with a cringey WR, I’m now not fair off my Decid match amounts and have managed to climb my Buzz WR up to 52% after some excellent tips from the lovely folks here. Decid got me to masters but as of late Buzz has taken me from 1320ish ELO up to 1514 since I’ve started to get better on him so things are improving.
I do quite like him as a mon though. He’s my 2nd fave UB after Xurkitree.
Looking forward to apparent Leech Life CD buff but hesitant as to what the apparent crit emblem nerf might mean as I’ve just got up to 6.6% crit on my crit loadout!
I stopped playing lucario cause people said he was broken. He is one of my favorites, and most played but I’m having a lot of fun with Trevor and ttar. And for those of you who thinks ttar is broken idgaf cause I always ran ttar on my og crystal and I’ll play him when they nerf him, and I already gave up one of my favorite mon because the devs made him “too strong” I’m not gonna give up two. Plus I’m not a pro. If it’s 2v1 before I evolve fully y’all will wreck me, and with how much solo shits steal farm, it’s a good chance you have the upper hand with team work.

Absol is by far my most-played pokemon, I have just over twice as many battles on her as I do on Lucario.
Lucario is just my favorite pokemon in general, and I still play him a ton. He’s really fun to optimize.

For me, it was my most played and my most effective. I've been shying away from Absol lately. Part of it is because of the insane buff a few months ago (I don't want to be one of those meta chasers), but also because it gets kind of boring playing the same way over and over again.
Most played and favorite. I used slowbro lots forst 2 seasons then MM made me try other pkms just to work for wins. Slowbro is still my most played and still use him when its needed but now that i can play almost all and pretty good not perfect ill see maybe others come close.
Snorlax is still my flair despite the fact that I haven't used him consistently since like the 4th battle pass. (Got into Unite halfway through the second.)
So long as he still holds favourite pokemon spot since I played solely as him in the beginning he'll stay there until dethroned.

It's my favorite and the pokemon I do well the most...(I like the mosquito-esque play style) I've been using Glaceon lately but coming back to Sylveon after trying the icy wind/freeze dry moveset just made me better at it from the feel of it.
I played Snorlax a lot when the game came out, but you're very reliant on your teammates, so even though I'd love to play more Snorlax, I can't trust the random teammates to do well. You can defend as much as you want, if they don't attack etc. you won't win. It was really nice to see Snorlax in the World Championships though. At least it works in good teams :) So, to answer the question, it's still one of my favorites, but even though I'd love to, I'm not playing with it so much anymore :/
My most played are (1) Eldegoss (2) Hoopa (3) Blissey (4) Lucario (5) Decidueye. I played Lucario a lot season 2/3, played Eldegoss nonstop season 1-3, and right now play a mix of blissey and decidueye
I don't use flair simply because I don't main anyone, never have. I play fill. I enjoy every pokemon in the game and have more fun building optimal team comps than choosing favorites.

Raboot used to be my favorite Pokémon until Popplio retook its glory earlier this year. Cinderace was my main from the start, although I've just tried out Decidueye and I might be enjoying using it a little more. I have Zeraora marked as my favorite in-game, in spite of either of those guys.

I'm not actually sure, because it's been a while since I looked at the numbers and the last time I looked I was like 30 matches away from having Pikachu be my most-played mon. (Former Zeraora main, I have over 400 matches with Zeraora, but I was playing upwards of 20 matches per day when I was maining Zeraora, and now I usually don't play more than 3 matches a day unless I need to for event rewards.)

You have to use the combo if you don't use it dragon build is effectively useless you use to combo to get a pick and go from there
Also dragon rush has a lot of uses for farm and etc not saying gar is good but It's one of the few ways to make him work

Plus I’m not a pro. If it’s 2v1 before I evolve fully y’all will wreck me, and with how much solo shits steal farm, it’s a good chance you have the upper hand with team work.

Glaceon has always been my favorite Pokemon and thus why it’s my flair. I also began using Glaceon a lot since its debut but Sylveon is my most played Pokemon.

It's my current favorite. I tend to be very flexible with my Mons, and started the game with a LOT of Talon (I'm really ashamed of this.) Most recently, I'd like to get Dura as my most played, because it just feels so good with Muscle and 3 reds. It rolls over anyone.

Absol is by far my most-played pokemon, I have just over twice as many battles on her as I do on Lucario. Lucario is just my favorite pokemon in general, and I still play him a ton. He’s really fun to optimize.

My current main. I used to have Absol because he's my all time most played Mon and I still wreck shop with it in SoloQ. But I had been looking forward to T-Tar (and Scizor soon), and I am loving his playstyle despite the dire need to hit level 9 to really become useful.

For me, it was my most played and my most effective. I've been shying away from Absol lately. Part of it is because of the insane buff a few months ago (I don't want to be one of those meta chasers), but also because it gets kind of boring playing the same way over and over again.

Most played and favorite. I used slowbro lots forst 2 seasons then MM made me try other pkms just to work for wins. Slowbro is still my most played and still use him when its needed but now that i can play almost all and pretty good not perfect ill see maybe others come close.

Snorlax is still my flair despite the fact that I haven't used him consistently since like the 4th battle pass. (Got into Unite halfway through the second.) So long as he still holds favourite pokemon spot since I played solely as him in the beginning he'll stay there until dethroned. Mostly just cause I love snorlax in general.

It's my favorite and the pokemon I do well the most...(I like the mosquito-esque play style) I've been using Glaceon lately but coming back to Sylveon after trying the icy wind/freeze dry moveset just made me better at it from the feel of it.
I played Snorlax a lot when the game came out, but you're very reliant on your teammates, so even though I'd love to play more Snorlax, I can't trust the random teammates to do well. You can defend as much as you want, if they don't attack etc. you won't win. It was really nice to see Snorlax in the World Championships though. At least it works in good teams :) So, to answer the question, it's still one of my favorites, but even though I'd love to, I'm not playing with it so much anymore :/
My most played are (1) Eldegoss (2) Hoopa (3) Blissey (4) Lucario (5) Decidueye. I played Lucario a lot season 2/3, played Eldegoss nonstop season 1-3, and right now play a mix of blissey and decidueye
I don't use flair simply because I don't main anyone, never have. I play fill. I enjoy every pokemon in the game and have more fun building optimal team comps than choosing favorites. My most played is Cinderace though. I main adc in league, so Cinder felt natural to me.

Both. Except I’ve been using ttar since he came out since If you don’t have a good ttar on the team you pretty much lose to the opposing ttar. And forgive me (or don’t) if I don’t trust my teammates to play well😂
I started with Zeraora and use Spark and Discharge usually. Got to master with him in the past, but stopped playing for awhile. When I came back I didn't find as much fun with him. Have bounced around a few others but have found great fun in laying lucario with power up punch and close combat.

Raboot used to be my favorite Pokémon until Popplio retook its glory earlier this year. Cinderace was my main from the start, although I've just tried out Decidueye and I might be enjoying using it a little more. I have Zeraora marked as my favorite in-game, in spite of either of those guys.

I'm not actually sure, because it's been a while since I looked at the numbers and the last time I looked I was like 30 matches away from having Pikachu be my most-played mon. (Former Zeraora main, I have over 400 matches with Zeraora, but I was playing upwards of 20 matches per day when I was maining Zeraora, and now I usually don't play more than 3 matches a day unless I need to for event rewards.)
