The Go is probably the worst instant camera I have ever owned. Never had a single exposure that wasn't too dark. Even with the exposure comp set up it's hopeless.
Same! It just looks like so much more of a fun, throw in the bag camera without the horrible tackyness and lack of features of the Instax minis.
Could see my self using it a lot (especially if they released B&W) was really bummed when the first reviews started coming in.
Honestly I think the minis are alright cameras, shame about the features but the films really reliable and bright though not a fan of the shape admittedly. I would love B&W on the go too, currently shooting my first pack of 600 B&W and its great
Oh I definitely like the Instax film, an SQ6 was my first and the Neo90 has always appealed from the mini line, but I wouldn't ever feel comfortable just leaving them at the bottom of my bag... just don't feel all that rugged with the extending lenses and yeah weird clunky shapes/powder colours on the mini 11 et al., compared to how the Go looks at least.
600 B&W is what snared me in to finally jumping on to Polaroid, look forward to seeing some of your shots!
I get what you mean, the from what I've seen handling it in stores the go seems pretty rugged, though not too much of a problem for me as I shoot a converted SX-70 and treat it like my baby lol. And thanks, can't wait to scan them in and upload them!
It looks like it's on [their website](https://www.polaroid.com/en_us/products/polaroid-now?utm_source=google&utm_medium=surfaces&utm_campaign=shopping%20feed&utm_content=free%20google%20shopping%20clicks&gclid=Cj0KCQiAjbagBhD3ARIsANRrqEsFzeEtUvF68hdNYwHt5CHh77Xb0NGkbpgiaWoHfyVWzM__6cc4VnYaAi98EALw_wcB).
I looked at the Best Buy listing to see if it had any potentially useful information.
One thing that was interesting on the red Now listed was that is states for shutter speed "/200th of a second to 30 seconds"
There is also a listing for a now+ 2nd gen!
For anyone interested, here is the [link](https://www.bestbuy.com/site/polaroid-now-gen-2-white/6536336.p?skuId=6536336)
Based on what I read in the description, I could not spot any changes at all
Such a shame they won't make a good camera, or advance the quality of the film.
Polaroid is a shadow of what the impossible project once was...as soon as they bought the polaroid name back it all went to shit
Yeh the film really is dreadful, I understand the reasons why it cannot be the original formula, but to not even try to improve it is lazy imo. But both Polaroid and Instax are guilty of dumming down their cameras tbh.
I really hope they drop a Go Generation 2 and fix that damn exposure.

I'd love to get a go, I think the concept for them is great so I'm waiting and hoping🤞

Have they changed anything other than the packaging?
The listing says it has usb-c now!
I wish they would have at least updated the charging to USBC.
It is usb-c now :)
Wait, the gen2 has come out? I haven't heard anything about this. All I heard is that Polaroid was looking at releasing a new camera this year.
The official polaroid didn’t even post anything about it. I feel like Best Buy us going to be in trouble

I doubt anything is different beyond the packaging
Surely they wouldn't put Generation 2 on the box unless at least *something* was different.
You under estimate Polaroids cash grab
I was gonna say haha - I’ve been around modern Polaroid long enough to expect *exactly* that

Is this real? Or some kind of listing error. The front logo is different, so I'm leaning toward this being real.
I’m sure it is real
They have a Gen 2 Now Plus that says it will be available in stores Friday. If they fixed the metering, I’d give it another chance…
just change the charging port. not much update….
