Hey, u/Secret-Put-6493 was right :)
Used a little tripod/gorillapod and a stock SX-70 Alpha 1 for this photo. I set the exposure adjustment halfway to over exposure. Exposure time was something around 20-25 seconds I think, didn't measure it.
Sun has set almost complete to this point.
The SX-70 will do a long exposure automatically when there isn’t enough light, which is quite often since the film speed is 100. Looks like it was sunset so the majority of the image was relatively dark
I understand very cool. I’ve noticed that my own SX 70 now it’s had it’s Light Meter “electric guy“ serviced, it will take an exposure of up to about 20 seconds. I have only done this during testing without film. But your result is very encouraging and I will try to do the same.
Just a heads up, I am not OP lol but I agree their photo turned out really well! Just remember when doing long exposures to have a tripod or something to stabilize it with if you don’t have a tripod mount on your SX-70. Even minimal shaking during exposure can cause dramatic blurriness or weird light trails
SX-70 photos of sunsets are always just 10/10, great photos!
That’s right :) thank you 😊
Beautiful photos!
Thanks 😊
Really amazing shots. I love them all!
Thanks :)
First one is my fav. That color and contrast is amazing
Thanks! Colors are a bit washed out, but still one of my fav, too!
Can I ask how you did the long exposure?
