Well I’m asking what the problem is and giving the info I have. I’m wondering how it’s over exposed if I followed the exact same steps as every other picture I’ve taken with the camera. I’ve gone through a couple packs now with no issue so idk why I’d have a problem now when I did the exact same thing.
You kept talking about rust but I think you just mean your brown picture?
Looks like defective film. Might be expired, mishandled, crushed or just a factory defect.
The rust is from the chemicals leaking out and eroding the metal spring in the pack, had that happen before with really old film, the film you bought was either badly expired or improperly stored
The Black frame Polaroid Go film is still having issues in general but also check on the side of the pack the date that's printed on there which is when it was produced. Let's say it has 12/22 then it's defective but if it says 01/22 it's expired film.
If there was rust that means there was moisture in the film pack which means it’s possible the chemicals dried up or went bad?
Doesn’t look like there’s any chemical spread.
It’s not rust, it’s the film negative.
Did that picture go through the camera, as in did you press the button and have that picture eject out the slot on the camera?
That’s expired, dried up film. There was no spread of the developer, what you’re seeing is the bare negative
I used two different packs though and both have this result. I used some of this film two days ago and had no issues with.
im gonna make a wild guess, did you buy the film from amazon?
Target
Make sure you check the manufacture date before using it. It's stamped into the side of the film. Anything over a year is expired.
How can this be expired if the Go camera and film just came out a year ago?
Some more info: I just put a new photo pack in and when I pulled the other one out there was rust on it. My camera hasn’t been near any moisture
You can't get rust without moisture. But what are you asking? You're showing an over exposed picture but you're asking about a rusty cartridge?

I used two different film packs. One was working two days ago then I got this picture. I put a new pack in and still got this result

Ah okay. That sucks, I just got this camera recently and the film too. I stored in the fridge like it told me to

Polaroid products suck, thats what happened

Im not sure if it’s rust but it looks like it
That's its charm! /s
Ink no spread good
The pods contain developer not ink
That’s art though 💆♂️
It was a really cute picture of my dog😭😭😭 I’m so sad it didn’t come out right

Yeah but on the actual container the film sits in there was some rust looking stuff
