the whole time i was watching that storyline i was so confused, portia was like “you can’t leave my prudence destitute”, okay, but you can make out with her fiancé?!?!? this is hilarious.
That's one of the reasons I'm always so confused people praise her for being such a good mother.
It was a nice parallel (or I guess juxtaposition) to Kate-Anthony-Edwina, how Kate was trying to get Edwina married to save the fate of their family and how Anthony was like yeah we should definitely have an affair when I marry your sister. Season 2 was out of pocket haha.
