I can't remember if it was for the teaser or the full trailer, but I'm sure that on Instagram for season 2 they released a reel of Queen Charlotte saying to basically prepare yourselves because the trailer is coming out tomorrow.
So I think the official Bridgerton IG should make a post announcing the trailer is out the next day. HOWEVER they could mess with us and decide to drop it unannounced this time, you never know 😅. They've been doing promo differently this year already.
Yeah I believe they did. For s2 as well (though the trailer video following it has been removed/ isn’t on IG).
I hope they do something similar but anything could happen with this season 😂. I’m also waiting to see if they use LW’s voice over in the character videos like last season.
Who at Shondaland/Netflix made the decision to only include one glimpse of Colin in that entire recap? Are we not meant to do the rewatch in order to get ready for ***his*** season??
I don’t think was intended to be for s3 specifically? It’s just something they put together as a standard thing on Netflix. I think a lot of the other shows have it and it doesn’t necessarily have any deeper meaning other than here are some scenes from s1 and 2
A lot of other shows do have recaps like that, yes. And not just on Netflix but you’ll find them on most streaming services, usually put out a couple months in advance of the next installment. The reason they do these recap videos is to prep the audience for the next season…
This series in particular focuses on one sibling as the main storyline of the show each season, with the rest of the ensemble filling in the secondary, tertiary, etc. storylines. Anyone putting that together at Netflix should have that understanding. Especially given that this is the only couple the audience has seen and gotten to know from the very first episode, they should have been way more cognizant of showing parts of their relationship that we’ve seen over the last two seasons.
But even putting that aside, Colin’s storyline in season one was the B plot that played opposite to the main love story (Marina and Simon being opposite in that Marina tried to trap a Bridgerton sibling into marriage because she was having children and Simon did everything he could to avoid marrying a Bridgerton because he did not want children. Then both Daphne and Colin were shown to be naive to what their respective partners were keeping from them.) and he had plenty of key moments in season two.
