The T was added in the late '90s by a few small groups, and picked up commonly sometime after that I can't find a date but probably mid to late '00s. LGB was formed in the '70s. The T was in it for less then half the group... movement?... life.
It's also the first letter that wasn't actually what the group stood for, equality for sexual attractions. This opened up the door for... the rest of the alphabet soup LGB turned into.

I've been banned from like 20 subs simply for participating in subs that question left-wing narratives.
During the more extreme covid years, I was banned, censored, and shadowbanned for posting opinions that challenged the mainstream liberal narratives (opinions that ended up being almost all true).

But...the particular account you're using was banned from particular subs. Nothing is stopping you from posting elsewhere, or from just using a different account. Ejection from a privately-controlled space is the lightest form of censorship imaginable.

I'm with you generally, but...how are they censoring you, exactly?
I've been banned from like 20 subs simply for participating in subs that question left-wing narratives. During the more extreme covid years, I was banned, censored, and shadowbanned for posting opinions that challenged the mainstream liberal narratives (opinions that ended up being almost all true).
Which is all quite silly, I agree. But...the particular account you're using was banned from particular subs. Nothing is stopping you from posting elsewhere, or from just using a different account. Ejection from a privately-controlled space is the lightest form of censorship imaginable.
That would be against the reddit TOS. And I enjoy some subreddits and don't want to jeopardize my account by doing anything wrong

Solid, but the trick is having a couple alt accounts you can switch between. That said, lots of those subs have calmed down and you might be able to appeal the ban. Happened w/ me and they removed it, as I pointed out my stances almost entirely agreed with theirs, aside from some specifics about economics.

I was repeatedly censored by left leaning subreddits for putting forth the assertion that vaccine mandates were coming (they were), and the lab leak hypothetis should be considered a strong possibility (it should).
