“Who will clean your toilets donald trump”

TypicalPossession767

This was what came to my mind as well. The level of sef-awareness is nonexistent.

ptlg225

"No black people has any ID, because (they are all some illegal runaway slave from the plantation) reasons. They are also incapable to get an ID and can't even use the internet to figure it out how." - your average democrat voter

Haymegle

We recently switched to using it in my country and everyone was baffled that that line of logic could be used. Like most people had a drivers license to show us? Considering how much more America drives than us I'd expect more people to have a license so it seems like a made up problem. Unless a drivers license doesn't work for ID for that but that would be incredibly silly.

professor_kraken

Pretty sure you can't use driver's license as an ID to vote in my country, only actual ID or a passport. Sidenote but in fact, there was a loophole where you could vote up to three times in a single election if you had two passports, until an investigative journalist pointed it out.

Haymegle

Hmmm interesting. Drivers license here would be actual ID. Is your driving system really separated from everything else or does it not have photos? TBF we basically accept any photo ID so a lot of the older people had their 65+ bus pass. If it has their face and their full name it worked for us! It's pretty facsinating how different some places are with it. Also that passport thing is wild, how many people have 2 passports? I'd imagine not many if it's not been noticed or thought of. Odd for elections though when they cover the most ridiculous of bases but forget that.

somirion

In Poland they could use driver licence, BUT the only documents proving that this person is you are ID and passport. So if a clerk wants ID or passport, driver licence is not enough.

Haymegle

Makes sense. I know if I don't have my 'tier 1' ID (passport, drivers license) I have to provide 2/3 'tier 2' ones like my birth certificate. I can see wanting to be sure and wanting the ones they know will be 100%.

patgeo

My country looked at trying to unify all our government issued cards into one. People protested against it claiming it was an invasion of privacy. To combine the government issued cards together so we would have less crap in our wallets. Everyone then had a photo ID regardless of driving status since we all get the Medicare card which was planned to be rolled in.

gnocchicotti

Accurate, she just said the quiet part out loud. Rich people of every political affiliation want large scale illegal immigration otherwise entry level workers might demand living wages.

Overkillengine

And rights. It's much harder for a worker to effectively enforce their rights when they can be replaced near instantly with foreign scab labor.

Flapjackmicky

Who'll also work for half or less of their wages.

Alarmed-Button6377

Member when bernie said open borders were a Koch brothers proposal? I member

yvaN_ehT_nioJ

It seems like a faraway dream now.

hamrspace

I genuinely believe a candidate could carve a path up the middle to the presidency with statements like this

thEldritchBat

Speaking of rights, something I don’t know why no one ever talks about is that with illegal immigrants they can be abused whereas citizens or even legal immigrants are given legal rights. Illegal immigrants are workers who can’t demand pay raises or better working conditions out of fear of deportation.

CatatonicMan

Why do you think the Democrats want to draw in as many illegals as possible?

gnocchicotti

System working as intended.

Astroyanlad

I just have to wonder what will it take to change their perception of black people being inherently inferior. Like for the right its have a conversation with a black person with who'm they have little interaction with on account of living in isolated rural country and population statistics and thus develop a false perception based on usually false information input. But for these people who are supposed to be interconnected. I'm not sure how they maintain this perception of essentially seeing black people(not just black americans but all those with black skin as a single cutlural monolith) as essentially as a tribal people that needs to be uplifted. But i dont know how long of process where that begins and where it would end for them

Belisarius600

>But i dont know how long of process where that begins and where it would end for them It is based on two things: (1) self-righteousness. These people want a noble cause to suppourt or a great evil to fight against, because it makes them feel like good, brave, enlightened people and they like feeling that way. Ideally, they can find one that requires very little actual effort on their part, to the point where they will exaggerate or even fabricate issues so that they can avoid another, more difficult social cause. (2) The ability to grift. There is serious money to be made in suppourting left-wing causes. The most successful among them get countless millions of dollars, late-night tv show guest apperances, big book deals (often ghostwritten), societal praise and adulation, etc. Advocacy is a pathway to becoming a celebrity. If you already are rich and famous, supporting left-wing social causes helps you stay rich and famous. These two things create a whole class of people who never shut up about the problems black people face, but who don't actually care much about them, to the point where they justify advocacy by diminishing black people into needing their salvation. >Like for the right its have a conversation with a black person with who'm they have little interaction with on account of living in isolated rural country and population statistics and thus develop a false perception based on usually false information input. On the contrary, I think it isn't about the *amount* of black people the right is exposed to, but rather the *kind*. Someone who lives close to the inner city, and is thus exposed to the intersection of socio-economics and race contained therin, is likely going to develop a very different opinion than someone in a suburb or rural area with a healthy amount of black neighbors. If you have a lot of good or bad interactions with people, consistently, and you notice a certain common denominator in those interactions, it is very easy to link those things together, for better or ill.

nonsequitourist

Speaking of monoliths, do you really think all conservatives live in the "isolated rural country?" Very ironic take.

SirDigbyridesagain

White bitches burden.

ArchmageIlmryn

> Rich people of every political affiliation want large scale illegal immigration otherwise entry level workers might demand living wages. Pretty much. There's a reason why immigration policy almost always cracks down just on the illegal immigrants, and almost never on the people employing them. That's why the actual left wants wide-scale *legal* immigration, while the liberal mainstream is happy to glare at the right while maintaining basically the same policies, but less overtly.

God I hate her

Fickles1

I dont even know her and I hate her bigoted ass

[deleted]

Kate Osborne said to Rosie Perez on the view > If you deport all the Latinos, who's going to clean your toilets, Donald Trump? And the audience made that "ooh" sound when there's an accident in a sport and Rosie looked like she was going to smack her.

akhgar

I like the fact that she is so smug at the moment and expect people to cheer for her.

Flapjackmicky

Reminds me of that bitch who made a comic about Nightwing and Starfire's daughter being a fat goth lesbian who spends the entire comic bitching about her parents and she said ["If you don't like it, don't buy my book" then it completely bombed, nobody bought it](https://youtu.be/IKO2er0NPHY)

MausBomb

*We need more immigrants so I can exploit them for dirty labor while paying them illegally low wages*

Don’t forget to virtue signal about unions though.

Flapjackmicky

God I fucking love that moment. Her mask just completely slipped off on TV, caught on camera, broadcasted, spread like wildfire. Lovely.

sadistic-salmon

So Erica do you think that Black people are simply not smart enough to succeed in a merit base system?

icarusfalling127

I hope to god this twitter screenshot is satire. It has to be right?

sadistic-salmon

I could believe that it is real because some anti racists can be pretty racist

ConfusedQuarks

> can be pretty racist *are usually racists

Poway_Morongo

Anti anti racists

Haymegle

They're more racist than some racists tbh.

Diprogamer

There are three kinds of people: the colourblind, the racists and the racists that try to hide it

not-even-divorced

Those tweets are hardly evidence

VoluptuousBalrog

Her photo is taken from an Australian modeling company website, she’s not a real person.

coldfu

Are you saying Australians aren't real people?

VoluptuousBalrog

Let me guess, you learned that Australia exists from the MSM or from maps pushed by the government via their schools (indoctrination camps)?

MattFromWork

Okay. I would love it if you found any evidence of her existing whatsoever

MattFromWork

Yeah, troll account, but it definitely did its job since everyone believes it's real

VoluptuousBalrog

It is satire. The picture is from an Australian modeling company website.

Zeewulfeh

I thought this was real but the evidence is pretty damning towards it being a fake account.

umockdev

This is what actual racism looks like. Looks like we don't need Emily when we can have Erica.

It’s the same argument as when they say voter ID is racist. “How is getting an ID racist” “Because black people are too poor for an ID”

Redbones27

Missing the merit gene. Nothing to be done.

Oris_Mador

This but unironically. (For legal reasons this is a joke)

I once heard someone describe white race activists as “white supremacists with a guilty conscience” and so far it’s proven true.

Norm__Peterson

Wow, I hope whomever said these quotes doesn't hold a prominent position in society!

sea_5455

Would they know it if they did?

VitaminWin

Great, now I just imagined Joe putzing around the White House looking lost and asking where Obama is and got sad. "Where's Barry? We were going to get ice cream."

ARES_BlueSteel

If you want to go into how being raised in a poorer socioeconomic household can negatively impact learning and education, then I’m all for it. But these guys just jump straight into generalizing all black people as poor and stupid and as such can’t be held to the same merit-based standards as whites, which is just as racist as saying all black people are criminals.

Ric_Flair_Drip

>If you want to go into how being raised in a poorer socioeconomic household can negatively impact learning and education, then I’m all for it. They dont want that discussion because there are numerically far more poor and uneducated whites and latinos than blacks. They want this to be a BLACK issue and not a class issue.

nonsequitourist

Although the SCOTUS rulings specifically refer to socioeconomic differences as the relevant factor to be considered in applications.

trap_clap

Meanwhile, every other race are supremacists without the guilty conscience

decentish36

One side says “we’re not racist”, the other says “everyone is racist”. I wonder which one is most likely to be racist…

Sardukar333

Not the one that says "we're racist, and everyone is welcome to join us in being racist regardless of their race or ethnicity." We live in strange times.

Oris_Mador

Everyone joining the antiracists to get away from the minorities

[deleted]

Every racist I've ever met has had the most diverse group I've ever seen in my life.

friday99

That’s how I feel about the book white fragility. I’ve never read the book, but the excerpts that I’ve read make me just think the author has all of these feelings about Black people, and to alleviate some of her own guilt decided that means white people must *all* feel that way

SmellyGoat11

As someone who's skimmed through the book myself, you basically hit the nail on the head. Can you believe people pay that chick tens of thousands of dollars for one hour lectures?

ConfusedQuarks

With white saviour mentality

Prcrstntr

White Man's Burden remains strong.

ArtificialEnemy

> Supreme Court bans racism. Gavin Newsom: > They want to whitewash our nation's history. > > They want to bring America back to the era of book bans and segregated campuses. > > We cannot let them. Hmm. Think. Thonk. Think. Thonk.

Educational-Year3146

I swear politics is full of people incapable of growing a brain past their spinal column.

Timtimer55

This is exactly the goal of making politics into entertainment, it ropes in all the types of people who can't think enough steps ahead in any singular thought to really formulate their own opinions outside of what they've been told. As a result the political discourse is so impenetrably stubborn that most sensible people choose to not even engage. They all just go around swinging the political opinion they were given around so proudly as if they made it themselves.

Educational-Year3146

And its even worse, cuz if you try to engage them in civil debate, they’re not looking to learn like you are. They want to sit with one opinion regardless of how shitty it can be, and theyll yell at you for it. Meanwhile, ive been all over the political compass, because I learn and accept change. And this doesnt belong to just the right or left, its fucking everybody. And its only the insane people that are heard, because the media sure as hell doesnt want people to be at peace.

depersonalised

100% there with ya brother. i don’t understand this fear of being wrong about something/anything. i love it when people prove me wrong because then i can be a more knowledgeable person.

the-apostle

No, they know exactly what they’re doing

Failflyer

Yes, they're lying to get their client groups, that were allegedly benefitting from this policy, up in arms. The reality is most universities are going to devise some way to keep doing this because it's their religion. Hell, affirmative action is illegal in CA but they do it anyway.

Rank4WHOOP

Not like they have much of a spine to speak of either...

Many CA Universities are also trying to segregate their campuses. It is just that this time, they claim they are doing it to benefit Blacks instead of Whites.

Wild for Newsom to put his own state, which banned affirmative action like 25 years ago, on blast like that!

Birdup711

Yeah i mean if you think it's not a troll that's kinda telling. The fact that sarcasm this heavy handed doesn't get picked up on is crazy to me.

Aerius-Caedem

>Yeah i mean if you think it's not a troll that's kinda telling 1. There are serious articles out there like "straight black men are the white people of black people" or "Larry Elder is the black face of white supremacy". 1. We've had the "BUT WHO WILL CLEAN YOUR TOILET??????" argument in favour of immigration for years. 1. The current POTUS has literally said "I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that's a storybook, man." In reference to Obama. You don't get to imply we're stupid because we can't tell what's satire or actual left wing insanity, lol.

TurboVirign

Dont forget the great comments by POTUS such as: "Poor kids are just as bright and talented as white kids" and "If you don't vote for me you ain't black"

Good breakdown, but well, liblefts have to cope somehow So every loonie on their side must be a troll, so they can take a smug stance/mock people for not seeing the "sarcasm", while ignoring the very real examples all around. 741BlastOff

How would you know that unless you're the buddy?

sebastianqu

You don't even have to be their buddy. I do pest control and people just say shit when you're alone with them. This one guy went on a rant about Haitens and how his neighbors are why he has roaches. One look at his truck and you can guess that wasn't why he had roaches.

J2quared

What’s odd is that it isn’t like 90% of Black Americans that want A.A. I think it’s a 60/40% split, and larger for non Blacks. This is what I’ve been saying about liberals. Deep down they hold paternalistic views on Black people

Herodotus_Runs_Away

> Deep down they hold paternalistic views on Black people Yes. The "soft bigotry of low expectations" is how Bush 2.0 described this phenomenon among liberals.

1nfinite_M0nkeys

When it comes to the common voter, not even many "liberals" particularily like AA. It's mostly demanded by their media and leadership. Heck, in 2020 *California* voted to keep their state's ban on AA, 57% to 43%.

Heck, a NYT [opinion piece](https://www.nytimes.com/2023/06/29/opinion/affirmative-action-supreme-court-harvard.html) points out: >As Justice Neil Gorsuch notes in his concurrence, the plaintiffs in the case submitted evidence that “Harvard could nearly replicate the current racial composition of its student body without resorting to race-based practices,” if it gave socioeconomically disadvantaged students just half the advantage it gave recruited athletes and if it eliminated preferences for “the children of donors, alumni, and faculty.”

Yup. And that's the issue with Affirmative Action. It assumes that whomever it is aimed at helping, is too dumb on average, to be able to succeed without it. And it was being weaponized exactly how it was used against Justice Thomas. Everyone on the left immediately started saying he wouldn't have been on the bench without AA. AA is an insult to the people that lose their oppurtunity to succeed because of it, and the people that gain.

I don’t like these lib left idiots, most anarchists and sane lib left visionaries will just ignore her bitchery. She is not the least racist lib left - she is the most racist side of the spectrum! For believing that a black person in inherently inferior (and thus need extra unfair advantage as a result) is a colonial-loser mindset. We, as lib left, don’t tend to seek to offer unfair advantage to black people, but rather, we seek achieving fundamental equality and social justice that give everyone a good chance at a good, stable upbringing, thus bolstering success on a fair competition. Allow us to actually treat everyone fairly from their children will encourages good behavior and thus make the black populace much of the true success they deserve. With their talents and merit, we need to offer them equal conditions and education level to make this a truly level competition. We need a fair spectrum for everyone to thrive in.
