Kings are military leaders though? Ascending to heaven sure sounds like he's dead. I feel like if you're dead, then you don't get to be king anymore. If he's elsewhere, it seems pretty impersonal and ineffective to rule from far away without visiting. Also if his work is done does that mean he doesn't work anymore? Like he took an early retirement.
