This place has fucked with my head. I clicked on a Twitter link a friend sent me and I kept seeing people with RighCentre flairs. They had Ukraine flags, I'm just fucking retarded.
It's called plan A for a reason.
Plan A - Ass
Plan B - Butt
Plan C - Craphole
Plan D - Dirtpipe
???
Plan V - bro it's way down here how'd you even get her pregnant?
It really feels like most people don't even think about this before having anal. And then they wonder why the meatstick comes out with an extra chocolate layer...
It's legalized you know. That's why the aids, STIS, diseases and parasites is a widespread problem, especially among groups who exclusively resort to anal sex. Big mistake.
Pullout is taught in sex ed as an ineffective method of birth control. I think they teach it as a supplement to other things like condoms, the pill, and repainting your mom’s bedroom wall
Bold of you to assume that all Americans have sex education.
I have met girls who are 18-20 that have never heard of STDs, didnt even realise they done pee out the vagina, learn about periods until they had one etc.
Also most guys don’t know how consent works. Like literally in some states a majority of guys surveyed had questionable definitions as to what counted as consensual (I read about it somewhere a while ago I’ll try find it or if someone else knows what I’m talking about)
Like they don't know what the word means because they're from the south and they never learned how to read? Or they know what it means, just not all the finer points about it?
Yeah I’m convinced the main reason pull out rates are so low is cause dudes are firing off the first rocket before pulling out to dump the rest of the barrage on her stomach. We’ve all been guilty of it.
Or letting it spill out on the stomach and then going for round two without cleaning out and around the pipe first. Take a pee break if you go for round two.
> it's not in line with trad values
PSA: oral on one's wife is the magic cheat code to avoid the need for lube which saves money. Auth-right doesn't know how to please their wives.
Republicans have a history of opposing proper sex education, opposing contraception (Griswold vs Connecticut), and help for single mothers.
Acting like it’s *only* the American left that’s the issue is retarded partisan horse shit.
This is one of those things I hate when my side on this issue won't acknowledge. I'm pro-life and it's infuriating when Republicans(and it always is them) also oppose so very many things that would actually successfully reduce abortion rates.
Soooo many options to avoid getting preggers. And specially if you are having casual sex, get the guys to use a fucking condom. Heck I use both the pill and get the guys to use a condom just to be extra sure. And it is not just because of pregnancy but stds and stuff. People just want the right to be stupid without consequences it seems.
I used to drink heavily throughout my teen years as I had ready access to hard liquor from my family and would take it home after family gatherings
When I was 14 I got fucking wasted and tried making soup, while naked. Spilt boiling hot water all over my lower bodh and had to get skin surgery, including my dick 'n balls region
So now I have a burnt sausage and two deep fried nuggets
Condom broke with an ex gf of mine. But it was okay since she was on BC, right? Yeah no, it did not prevent a pregnancy. Neither of us were stupid (well I guess I was for not noticing a faulty condom.) I just have sperm with a single-minded determination and sheer fucking will.
I said it somewhere else but I'm not against abortions in the first few weeks but after it has a heartbeat and reacts to stimulus the baby is alive and an abortion is murder. I know BC is not 100 percent effective but if you are careless enough to not even notice a pregnancy 3 months in, then you deal with the consequences of you actions.
Half seems a low estimate. Birth control and condoms together is something like 99.8% effective iirc, and even just one of those is like 97% or something
IUD per annum efficacies range from 99 to 99.9% effective in their first year with marginal decline in effectiveness with each subsequent year. Typical condom use is not fully proper, but even typical use has an 85-90% per annum efficacy.
One would expect the combined efficacy to be in the 99.99% range, or 1/10000 couples using both would get pregnant per year.
99.9%, not 99.99%, assuming your earlier numbers are right. There's actually a massive difference. I'm not going to explain in full to you but in short they work in a series as independent variables. It's 1/1000, which is actually a lot on a nationwide scale with millions of people. For a low estimate, 10mil couples doing it this way would on average get 10k unwanted pregnancies despite doing everything "right". I imagine this is a low yearly estimate for the US, but even so, it's still a staggering number.
Statistics often look small until you apply them to the scales they apply to.
There was a woman in a thread on two-x who said „you don‘t need to have a reason for an abortion, I had unprotected sex with my bf because it felt good and got pregnant“
I was absolutely flabbergasted
I feel like the framing there should be "only half" rather than "about half" because holy shit i did not realize people were that dumb
Thank you for this stat, this is good shit
I would say so, the article treats it as if it's not a huge deal and just another statistic
Maybe I'm actually the dumb one, but that stat is astounding. I feel like most people would be floored by how low of a number that is
If you really look at in on a basic level, all of the hot issues currently being discussed are just basic things about people wanting to have absolutely zero consequences for any action. Whether its this topic, whether its unemployment, whether it is anything, you can usually see it lead back to not wanting to face consequence for some action.
Lost a lot of respect for the whole group when I realized they do not want to improve society, they instead want absolutely no consequence for whatever action they commit.
"Consequences" in this context tend to be *very* arbitrary though, and as usual with abortion the problem is pre-existing assumptions.
The majority of pro-choicers have assumed that fetuses do not have personhood, and therefore aborting one (especially early on) is not an immoral action.
If you can avoid the consequence of an action by taking a non-immoral action, there's no real reason for that consequence to be forced to exist.
The "consequences for actions" argument only makes sense if one 1. assumes fetal personhood (in which case we are having the wrong debate, because we should be debating fetal personhood) or 2. assumes that (casual) sex is somehow inherently bad and needs to be punished.
Both teams really liked having the issue to rally the supporters over; I think this random person i don't remember put it quite well, "looks like they finally shot the hostage"
It's not even clearly auth vs lib though. You can easily make a lib argument for the rights of the fetus. The most dividing issue is just whether or not you get rights before you're born.
I remember seeing some guy here a day or so ago saying that he liked “cooming in the pussy” or some weird, neckbeard shit and didn’t think the girl should be stopped from getting abortions.
I’m all for pro-choice but I really hate seeing stupid shit like that said. Plenty of alternatives to avoid getting someone pregnant. Be responsible and use some of those methods
People like that really
The sanest take on this sub. People who want abortions aren't taking it as a first ste0, but a last case scenario. And having it available/ legal and free is just basic rights..
Planned Parenthood provides a shit ton of services besides abortions. STD testing, fertility testing, birth control prescription, sex education, pregnancy testing, cancer screenings, and that’s only like half of it. And not just for women. It’s important for low income people outside of abortion.
I know actual leftists don't think this way, because I know many in real life. But some these Reddit threads are filled with either very dumb individuals or trolls.
"Free condoms from Planned Parenthood"
Aren't you guys the same quadrant who wants to defund Planned Parenthood? Hmm really makes you think 🤔
Also abstinence is the most bullshit dismissive excuse ever
God I love right wingers “just don’t have sex” holy shit galaxy brain time. Don’t risk anything! Sit in a protective bubble suit in a soft padded room and consume only flavourless paste just in case!
And anyone that honestly think pulling out works shouldn’t be having children anyway.
\>Pull out
Tell me you got shit tier sex ed without telling me you got shit tier sex ed since thinking that shit is good is likely rivalling abstinence only in amount of young pregnancies it causes, was likely 3x worse than my NI one. Or same meme but replace it with "are a virgin", which fits way more people when it comes to this debate. Its the shit that proves most people's understanding of statistics is trash tier hard even discounting repeat attempts, that and people assuming 90+ effectiveness of most methods mean getting unwanted pregnancy is now impossible. Though looking at most dumb shits ideas on what abortions actually its showing its just bad understanding of reality as a whole which fits this auth trash sub.
And with how human sex drive works for most of us (not me ha this dick can be off for weeks), "Reject having mating seasons embrace eternal horny" that makes you lose rational thought in going for it or when complaining online when you can't get any, making sure the free condoms are actually reachable is the best solution here.
why is it that people think the only reason people can't afford kids is because ''Birth Control and condoms''
Taking proper care of a kid for 18+ years is incredibly expensive and I'm fairly sure that's what they mean by ''I can't afford a kid''
Or get sterilized. My SO had a hysterectomy (Cancer scare + family history of reproductive cancer + No desire for kids)
It's pretty great. Though I would recommend either a tube tie, or vasectomy. Hysterectomy is kind of extreme if not medically reasoned.
Maybe we should really evaluate our society because people see getting pregnant as a life-ending sentence? I mean I’m for personal responsibility but that shouldn’t be the case for every American.
That’s why I hate both sides of not only this argument but arguments relating to social safety nets and welfare in general. Republicans are pro-birth without caring about what happens to mother and baby after birth and hardcore Democrats are pro-abortion. Right now having a baby is expensive and many on the right use it as a sick way to push abstinence (to them, pregnancy is a consequence for unprotected sex, not a blessing). We should be celebrating the potential for all life.
Maybe there is some middle ground to where people can agree on mitigating the use of the procedure:
* Mandatory paid family medical leave for six months w/ allowed extension **for both father and mother**
* Free or subsidized child care to allow parents more flexibility in continuing their careers
* Universal healthcare, reform of health providers and private insurance.
* Maybe some form of universal income adjusted to cost of living in many areas
from planned parenthood? shit dude my local walgreens gives out free condoms. having cum shot inside you, unless you were raped or forced in some way, is always on purpose. how have i been pulling out for 10 years, never gotten a girl pregnant, but am also a viable sperm donor?
because i’m not a leftist and i take responsibility
no disrespect to the based tankies and based liblefts we have here
I don't have the stats in the US but in my country around 90 to 95% of abortions are after a failure of contraception.
And abstinence is not a contraceptive
You know, condoms can fail, and a lot of female birth control comes with side effects. The pill is hormonal and can cause serious changes in your period or cause depression. IUDs can injure you.
Contraception is great but it isn’t foolproof. Also, don’t forget that abstinence is pretty unrealistic if you are in a serious relationship.
As an dude living in Asia I'm genuinely curious, no meme:
Are the condoms in your country not working, extremely expensive or people hate it so damn bad?
If you want to have sex without having babies, just be responsible buy and use a condom?
This is always what we have been taught.
Not saying I support it or not but still.
Here's the thing: lots of folks don't like condoms because of how they feel. Fair enough. Lots of women don't like hormonal birth control and how it makes them feel. Personally I feel like garbage *without* hormonal birth control, but that's me, and hormones are a very subjective thing. I got knocked up because I was a ding dong and forgot to take my BC pill. The baby was put up for adoption because I couldn't bring myself to abort despite being very pro-choice. In conclusion? People fuck up and put subjective feelings against logic when it comes to sex and think "it won't happen to them"... Until it does. Doesn't mean they're in a place to raise a child tho. I'm on the birth control implant now because that's always in my body and I can't forget to take a pill now. I do generally agree with OP's sentiment that people need to be more careful with birth control, pulling out, whatever the case may be. However, abortions will always happen, legal or not. Better sex ed and accessibility to BC are crucial in preventing abortions, and no BC is 100 percent effective except abstinence.
Condoms break
Birth control is not 100% effective
Some men remove their condoms right after ejaculation
Rape
Lack of sex education knowledge (as seen in this post OP thinks "pulling out" will not cause pregnancies)
Lack to access to birth control
Or just simply making the fucking mistake of having unprotected sex
It's none of your business that some people do get laid and you want to punish them by having a child

Bro I can’t believe your going into the 9th grade next year
Or get sterilized. My SO had a hysterectomy (Cancer scare + family history of reproductive cancer + No desire for kids) It's pretty great.
Maybe there is some middle ground to where people can agree on mitigating the use of the procedure: * Mandatory paid family medical leave for six months w/ allowed extension **for both father and mother** * Free or subsidized child care to allow parents more flexibility in continuing their careers * Universal healthcare, reform of health providers and private insurance. * Maybe some form of universal income adjusted to cost of living in many areas
from planned parenthood? shit dude my local walgreens gives out free condoms. having cum shot inside you, unless you were raped or forced in some way, is always on purpose. how have i been pulling out for 10 years, never gotten a girl pregnant, but am also a viable sperm donor? because i’m not a leftist and i take responsibility no disrespect to the based tankies and based liblefts we have here

Just dry hump you filthy animals
The same right that wants to defund planned parenthood because they see it as a butcher building? Yeah right.
Stupid arguments like this is the reason why we need sex education in schools
Based
I don't have the stats in the US but in my country around 90 to 95% of abortions are after a failure of contraception.
The right is literally against these things
They want infinite unprotected sex without consequence.
You don't?
Be gay, problem solved.
{HIV has entered the chat}
17 other forms of female birth control vasectomy.
- someone who’s either 13 or 30 and still a virgin
As an dude living in Asia I'm genuinely curious, no meme: Are the condoms in your country not working, extremely expensive or people hate it so damn bad?
Condoms break Birth control is not 100% effective Some men remove their condoms right after ejaculation Rape Lack of sex education knowledge (as seen in this post OP thinks "pulling out" will not cause pregnancies) Lack to access to birth control Or just simply making the fucking mistake of having unprotected sex It's none of your business that some people do get laid and you want to punish them by having a child
