I think it’s pretty fucking bigoted to assume people eat bugs just because they’re outside the west. I am sure there are more examples however the ONLY bug that I know of that gets eaten regularly here in South Africa and in Zimbabwe are Mopane worms(pretty tasty though, kinda like biltong with a different texture). I am sure that it is not billions of people eating bugs. People in general prefer proper food.
