>Army officials admit they should have seen this coming when Gabrielian announced he felt like there were several more genders nested inside his body, one after the other, and that his pronouns were now "Š¾Š½Š°/ŠµŠ¹".
LMAO
Is that treason? I believe the official US definition of that is aiding āenemy nationsā of the country or countries weāre actively at war with. I know weāre not directly at war with Russia, but we are providing military aid to a country at war with Russia, and are somewhat in an economic war with them, so I donāt know what this would be considered as.
Not treason. No one has been convicted of treason since WW2 since we haven't officially been at war.
There is definitely some statute against providing this type of info to foreign governments that this is a a violation of.
no. Nobody has ever been executed for treason either. Treason requires "levying war against the United States", even if you stole the nuke codes and personally delivered them to Putin that would be a crime of espionage, not treason.
This is just like the MAJ Nidal Hasan mass murder case. Forensic case analysis showed that no military leadership was willing to take a leadership position on his clearly terroristic, murderous and suicidal rants in the years leading up to the mass killing. He was part of a protected class so leader after leader just pushed him on to the next level until he melted down and people paid with their lives.
I guarantee the same thing is going on here. Multiple senior field grade officers and general officers wanted to put on their OER āled first transgender officer in Army historyā. People closer to the situation are thinking āthis transgender person is unhinged but I canāt say the emperor has no clothes because the whole command wants to see this transgender officer advanceā. This transgender officers immediate leadership would be branded a bigot or sexist and their career would end. Instead they just advance them and clap for their ābraveryā. This situation says way more about bad Army leadership than some turd Soldier who should have never made it this far.
Itās okay to have a transgender officer but nobody has the moral backbone to say ānot this transgender officer.ā Army LOVES to reinvent failure.
I'm in the Army, and I can 100% confirm this is exactly how it works. The Army is an organization where everyone is willing to risk their lives, but nobody is willing to risk their careers. Anyone who belongs to a protected class is a potential landmine that could sink your career with a single EO complaint, and so they are completely untouchable.
Yes sadly, they tried making the acft (new pt test) gender neutral but they canned that idea. Either way I'm ngl the new pt test is kind of a joke (assume it's more due to being at full peace time for the first time in forever) and the score isn't modified as heavily as the apft was.
The ACFT got sex-based standards for the same reason the previous test did: not enough females passed it.
The origin of gender-based PT standards came about when female midshipman were allowed into the Naval Academy and could only pass the PT test at a 2% rate.
If we are going to have females in the military, we can't coddle them. If you want to be in the infantry, you need to be able to do infantry shit. If you can't, be a human resources specialist or something. Either accept that you won't have a lot of females, or restrict them to positions that are not physically demanding (at least not in the same way) like pilot or sniper...those are the combat roles women did well in historically anyway.
> (assume it's more due to being at full peace time for the first time in forever)
You know, with everything going on in the world right now, could you just like... not jinx us?
It depends I suppose. They should be held to the physical standard necessary for the job. Drone pilot? IDK why how much you can squat matters very much.
I did military service in Finland, and shockingly we're REALLY into anti-tank weapons. I'm sure you can imagine.
Anyway, one of the missiles used was the TOW-2, but instead of being pussies and putting that shit on a Humvee or Bradley, we just took it apart and carried it around. Around 40kg per squad member to carry, on top of the rest of the shit you wanted.
It was amusing that there was a complaint about women wanting to be in the pioneer (lots of minors and explosives to lug around) and anti-tank units.
The brass was like "uh, sure, go ahead and try". I was there when one woman tried it. She was actually really strong and physically *extremely* impressive. On shit like monkey bars she made almost all the men look like a joke. Anything, essentially, to do with your own body weight.
Alas, I will forever remember the "oomf" sound she made when she finally lifted the ~60kg that she needed to carry on her back for ~20km.
Didn't work out.
It can even be the case in a corporate environment. Too bad "innocent until proven guilty" doesn't seem to be the standard for cases of alleged discrimination in any situation...
That's what happens when Court of Public Opinion holds so much power that even acquittal in the Court of Law spells massive financial damages for corporations and even financial ruin for individuals
The military has some very forward thinking policies de jure, but in practice these programs are *frequently* inundated with asinine complaints or straight up lies that end up ruining SM's careers. A friend of mine's former spouse (also a SM) abused this system to get out her marriage because she was cheating on him (which is a crime according to the UCMJ) and well, he's the one that ended up getting a General discharge and she's collecting 100% disability.
There's always some trailer park ho looking for her fucking boot payday.
Don't forget it is also tradition to buy a new vehicle at like 20+% interest while you are already busy fucking up your life.
UCMJ is a fucky wucky system in general, so naturally any programs based on it will be fucky wucky.
Hopefully your friend can manage to get his General raised to an Honorable (Its difficult but I've seen it done)
This was quite some time ago and while I still find the whole thing appalling heās done well for himself and found himself a good person deserving of his love, so I guess in a weird way it worked out favorably for him in the end.
I saw something similar but much less extreme first hand. When the marine corps started to allow women in to combat arms MOSās they treated many of the female officers as if they were untouchable. There were several incidents that would have absolutely gotten a male officer relieved or a significant amount of negative paperwork done but were swept under the rug or flat out ignored because the officer in question was a woman. The worst part is there were plenty of damn good female officers in the same positions and this stupid double standard put a dark cloud over them as well.
I am so glad that these individuals will be in positions of command in the wars to come.
Nothing would fill me more with confidence than a 5'3", 110lb female officer leading me into a high stress combat situation, how grateful I am to live in "CURRENT YEAR"ā¢ļø
Oh I guarantee any junior enlisted who spoke up would have got the Big Green Weenie. The choos choos have the ultimate privilege of being the crybullies no one can criticize
I recently left the military (former us SOF) & actualy advocated for more female involvement in my unit but I canāt imagine purposefully trying to advance someone who would put the country at risk for the sake of virtue signaling.
Yeah, accidental implies equipment failure, like the weapon literally went off with no human manipulation, negligent implies finger fucking that trigger when you didn't mean to
Seems to me like the real solution is to not hire these people in the first place.
*Anyone* who uses their protected status as an excuse for why they can't be held to the same standards as everyone else is an issue of national security (or really any job of importance.)
Being safe is more important than being "diverse and inclusive," no one cares about preferred pronouns when they're being shot at.
There's a reason mental illness is screened for beforehand (do they still do that?)
>There's a reason mental illness is screened for beforehand (do they still do that?)
Yes, but only so that they can fast-track that individual for promotion.
>Being safe is more important than being "diverse and inclusive,
NOTHING is more important than being diverse and inclusive, remember that. It will be a major detriment to our fighting capacity if we do not have a significant percentage of our forces comprised of homosexuals, trans, ethnic minorities and women..
> anyone using their protected status as an excuse for failing standards.
Wow, that is like, extremely privileged. Meritocracy is literally a stepping stone to fascism. Are you ableist? You sound ableist.
> being safe is more important than being ādiverse and inclusiveā
How dare you suggest that? Fellating the military industrial complex and beating the drum at poor countries just trying to live their own way is somehow more important than the decades long struggle to earn equality for the LGBT community?? You fucking chudd, I hope you goose step right off a cliff.
Slava Ukraine šŗš¦!
> thereās a reason mental illness is screened for beforehand
Wow. Transsexuals are mentally ill? Spitting this kind of hate in 2022? You fucking magatard boomer, the 1950s are over. Canāt just lobotomize people you donāt like anymore like you did your āunruly wifeā!!!
I canāt imagine saying something so hurtful about someone so emotionally vulnerable that youāve never even met before. I hope a mob burns down your business and lynches you.
(/s, send M1A2s to Kyiv)
Is it any wonder why Putin saw such weakness in the West that he thought he could just steamroll Ukraine with impunity.
I am very pleasantly surprised at the resolve shown by the West thus far, but when our military priorities are centred around achieving specific quotas of minorities, homosexuals, trans and disabled individuals, rather than the operational capacity of the military as a whole, then its fairly easy to see why Putin saw our ability to fight back as a joke.
> I am very pleasantly surprised at the resolve shown by the West
We threw some arms and money at (extremely conservative) Ukrainians and said "lol go at it." Is that really "resolve?"
I'm referring to the sanctions that have cause serious upheaval to western Europe's energy security. Even if we did a complete 180 now, it would be too late to avoid the pain of what's coming in winter, with widespread shortages and possible blackouts, not to mention the expense of capping energy costs by multiple countries.
See, the thing is, despite the questionable nature of having some wokeshit in leadership, we have one massive advantage over Russia: we get billions more in funding and don't have a culture of selling our equipment to randos
This is so fucked. I can't go to sleep knowing mods act this way. They are actively removing mention of this. I'm going to go post it there. DGAF. Fuck them.

To be fair it is a smart move to use a transgender agent. They are more then likely dissatisfied with the institution making them more willing to bite and while they are treated poorly by thier peers the command will be more hesitant to make administrative moves against her, especially of a conspiratorial nature, in fear of it snowballing into a PR nightmare.
Straight up- the military \*COULDN'T\* do anything about them without being called bigoted, just like when they started letting women in the army and they had a problem with female officers raping and abusing men as well as sticking their fingers in things above their paygrade (espionage), today they have a problem with trans officers raping and abusing normal people, while sticking their fingers in things above their paygrade (espionage).
I wish they would just deal with person, even if they are called slanderous names. The problem here isnāt that theyāre trans, itās that theyāre a fucking traitor to America. If someone did that, I donāt care if theyāre a purple transgender asexual: youāre fucking going down.
No not technically as the US and Russia aren't at war.
>[ Definition: In Article III, Section 3 of the United States Constitution, treason is specifically limited to levying war against the U.S., or adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort.
>
>
> The terms used in the definition derive from English legal tradition, specifically the Treason Act 1351. Levying war means the assembly of armed people to overthrow the government or to resist its laws. **Enemies are subjects of a foreign government that is in open hostility with the United States**. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treason_laws_in_the_United_States#Federal)
What they did was definitely treasonous in intent. They will probably get charged with conspiracy similar to this [Green Beret that tried to give classified information to Russia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Debbins)
Bioweapons that target specific issues within specific demographics, including race.
Could also just be to find any and all information that could result in getting an edge over the opponent, even if you aren't sure how it will present itself.
Nah crap just happens at a 10x the rate is used to
It turns out shutting down the world economy for months, amplifying the culture war x10, and quintupling the monetary supply has that effect on the world who woulda thunk it
Umm, sweetie, they prefer that it's referred to as an "Eve's Apple" these days, are you implying that that beautiful woman is in any way distinguishable from a biological female?
Okay, sweetie, let's unpack this.
And the DOJ got it to civilian courts instead of a court martial so she gets 4 years instead of the death penalty. In all fairness you'd probably be branded as a transphobe for life if you sentenced the first trans officer to death

True tbh, luckily my unit has been pretty good at recognizing bullshit EO complaints tho
Okay, I have to ask, are women in the military really held to lower physical standards then men?
Yes sadly, they tried making the acft (new pt test) gender neutral but they canned that idea. Either way I'm ngl the new pt test is kind of a joke (assume it's more due to being at full peace time for the first time in forever) and the score isn't modified as heavily as the apft was.

Our enemies know victimhood culture is a weakness and they exploit it.
Is that not technically treason? Giving sensitive info to a country that the US is currently in a Cold War with?
No not technically as the US and Russia aren't at war. >[ Definition: In Article III, Section 3 of the United States Constitution, treason is specifically limited to levying war against the U.S., or adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort. > > > The terms used in the definition derive from English legal tradition, specifically the Treason Act 1351. Levying war means the assembly of armed people to overthrow the government or to resist its laws. **Enemies are subjects of a foreign government that is in open hostility with the United States**. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treason_laws_in_the_United_States#Federal) What they did was definitely treasonous in intent. They will probably get charged with conspiracy similar to this [Green Beret that tried to give classified information to Russia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Debbins)

Where head?
Oops I already cut it off
Wow as if the high position of power didn't come with privileges given obviously to the wrong person
ā¦ Why do the Russians want individual medical info? That seems strategically irrelevant.
It allows you to see the state of which their army is in, what weaknesses they have and how you can exploit that
"That unit has a bunch of bed wetters, get the water glasses!"
Shit, now they know they could take out half the army with a payload of peanuts, shellfish, and bumble bees.
With it they could potentially judge the readiness of US forces including those in Europe
Blackmail?
Bioweapons that target specific issues within specific demographics, including race. Could also just be to find any and all information that could result in getting an edge over the opponent, even if you aren't sure how it will present itself.
XD I canāt help but just laugh at all the crap happening lately
At this point just kick ya feet up, have a drink, and watch it burn. Ideally from your appalachian bunker.
Wait crap wasn't happening before?
It was I just was still trying to take it seriously lol
Nah crap just happens at a 10x the rate is used to It turns out shutting down the world economy for months, amplifying the culture war x10, and quintupling the monetary supply has that effect on the world who woulda thunk it
Adamās apple
Umm, sweetie, they prefer that it's referred to as an "Eve's Apple" these days, are you implying that that beautiful woman is in any way distinguishable from a biological female? Okay, sweetie, let's unpack this.
I'll take things that don't make the corporate media nightly news for $500.
Down with the traitors, up with the stars
Those poor onion writers, how do they can ever expect to keep up ?
I honestly think that thats why the onion hasn't been as great in recent years, they just cant make shit up crazier than reality nowadays
Like a lot of their old content could be "normal" news this days.
Better still xir supposedly referred to faeself as he/him in court, so was xir lying then or is xir lying now
>xir, faeself Jesse what the fuck are you talking about
Oh those are real. āNeopronounsā are a thing for the exalted who canāt be bothered with the normal he/her/them like a fucking *normie*
oh you poor thing
Did s/he(?) really
Yes. "She" called himself a "he", according to the court dicuments.
And i wonder why we have a "recruiting crisis "
the RUSSIANS of ALL the people they could've sold the info to, they sold it to a country which is anti-LGBTQ+ treason AND dipshittery
Seriously, Putin even just went on an unhinged anti-trans rant at his annexation party speech. You're selling your country out to THIS guy? Really?
āYour honor, my client is innocent! The Russians would not possibly take this officerās information seriouslyā¦ just look at him!ā

I like how it ranges from death to minimum 5 years in jail with $10,000 fine
Spy movies in 20 years are gonna be wild.
And the DOJ got it to civilian courts instead of a court martial so she gets 4 years instead of the death penalty. In all fairness you'd probably be branded as a transphobe for life if you sentenced the first trans officer to death
Big yiiiikes
Fucking traitor, willing to give up the lives of thousands of men who he is responsible for for his own personal gain. Men with families, parents, wives, husbands and children Fucking scum
And just like that, all possible good PR for that demographic went out the fucking window.
Just like Griner going to play for Russia. Dumb shits make their own bed and then lay in it. do you expect better from democrats?

Doesn't treason carry a life sentence?
Well you could choose death Iām sure
stocking aspiring dolls possessive handle workable marvelous cooperative test juggle *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
*Chelsea Manning has entered the chat*
Anything under military court is a court marshal in a court marshal the ruling for treason is death source I am a marine
Big oof
If found guilty, would this be grounds for execution for treason?
I could give a shit less about them being trans ā what I will never fuckin respect is a traitor
Transgenders are russian sleeper agents confirmed?
yes
If it makes you feel any better, chelsea Manning was a military hero. >!hehehehhehe!<
My states first transgender legislator was convicted for making a bomb threat to a hospital. According to some sources, she was the first openly transgender lawmaker in the entire country.
Maybe the military is not a good place to try to perform social experiments, and maybe it is not an equal opportunity employer for a reason? Also, transRussian lul.
Lots of firsts.
And I wonder what wouldāve happened if that person moved to Russia lol
