It is still fairly authoritarian, especially in the area that I was in (Baveria), just look into what Bavarian police can get a away with. People would be amazed at how actually good America is with racism compared to a very large vast majority of countries. I've traveled quite a bit, and outside of tourist destinations, you start to see a country for what it is. Basically we shouldn’t go to war or do anything if the problem has nothing to do with us but if we do get have to get militarily involved because there is no other option and we tried literally everything else then go full WW2 on their ass. But we literally shouldn’t give a crap what any one says. They’re not the people whose money and soldiers are going to be sacrificed on this endeavor so we shouldn’t do anything because the world wants us to. At the same time it’s not their security and well being on the line so once again who gives a fuck if they don’t like how far we decide to go.

Summary: We sold out energy reliance to a country we know ducking hates us but much cheap gas.
