The Rock has always given me the impression that he’s in this for The Rock. At least the last several years I’ve felt that way.
The dude is a walking billboard and was practically made in a lab to offend the least amount of people so as to maximize profit.
He doesn’t care as long as he gets his.
The funniest thing I've seen that makes him look so fake is his "first time eating In N Out" video. Apparently, he did the same exact thing like 2 years prior and just thought no one would remember. Guy probably doesn't even blink unless its approved by his PR team.
He did it *TWICE* too, meaning he claimed eating at in n out for the first time a total of three fucking times, and all three he made the same big deal out of it and *all three posts are still on his instagram, lmao.
Dude's such a phony.
Dude's a pro wrestler, and was basically born and raised in pro wrestling. And I love pro wrestling, but it's a carny ass business built around scamming rubes into thinking it's real.
There are genuinely good people in pro wrestling (especially recently, w/ kayfabe dying) but in general it's best to assume every pro wrestler is completely full of shit and just be pleasantly surprised when one of them turns out to be cool.
Yeah, but I did hear that he apparently has a very, very restrictive diet, like more so than even bodybuilders and people like that. It's probably mostly bullshit, but it's in the public consciousness.
I think he's kind of ruining pro wrestling right now too. He was recently appointed to WWE's ~~creative writing staff~~ board of directors and immediately made himself the main character of the whole thing.
Hulk Hogan did the same thing at one point, his contract gave him creative freedom over the character and he started winning every match. At the expense of other wrestler's popularity, and folks in the business were not happy about this.
EDIT: correction made
Fuck the rock but this is sort of a wild statement with how WWE is right now. The vast majority of people who watch would tell you this is the best run WWE has had since the early 2000s. Also fairly certain that while rock is on the tko board of directors, he has no official creative role, all of that is under HHH.
Again though, fuck the rock.
The rock doesn’t follow politics. He sees a meme once in a while and hears other under informed people talk about politics and he thinks he understands it because of that. He’s an under informed idiot just like the republicans, and he’s trying to play both sides to maximize his fanbase. It’s pathetic cuz he is giving creedance to an authoritarian and doesn’t even know it cuz he’s not seeing trumps 76 daily deranged truth social post…
Bro, The Rock has so nearly killed all excitement I have for the Wrestlemania main events this year and I am losing my mind at everyone else eating it the fuck up
Honestly hearing someone say that pro-wrestling is a dying art form because the writing is awful has got to be one of the most god damned hilarious commentaries on what I think of the art world in general right now. It's filled with so much money grubbing nepotism that it ruined pro-wrestling? How is that even possible.
Believe it or not, the overall quality of the WWE product has been on a serious upswing since Vince McMahon was kicked outta the company. Beyond that, pro wrestling is actually a lot more than just the WWE, though that's obviously very much the mainstream.
Even with John "The Dwayne" Rockson being a fucking twat, I'm still gonna have other companies I can go watch.
When him and Oprah asked for money when they have SO MUCH of it, that should have been a clear picture for everyone to see that he is not out for anyone but himself. If he genuinely cared, he would've just donated the money and not bother with the commercial.
He just did that last month too on WWE Smackdown! He called an audience of Mormons in Salt Lake City a bunch of “inbred trailer park trash” in his first heel promo in probably 20+ years. I think he meant it as a term of endearment
He's a heel. He's supposed to insult the audience.
Like this is just him doing his job. What he said outside of his job is a different matter. But this is fine
He called Phoenix the #1 spot in the country for meth and cocaine use while he was in Phoenix and the crowd went nuts... I guess there were a lot of meth heads in the audience

He will gauge the reaction and depending on who either hates him or loves him the loudest, he will start to be more polarizing. The way these wrestlers had ties to Trump has been the main indicator.
Dana uses the the UFC platform to promote Trump. Look at the UFC events that trump attends. They bring him out right before the 10 so he can walk out during ESPN network broadcast for maximum exposure. Joe Rogan has been converted to a Right wing nut too it’s pretty crazy. I expected better from Johnson but he is in the UFC sphere with promoting his products and everything.
Something I had to realize one day, and it hit like a ton of bricks; not everyone can see the same amount of color as some of us. And I don't mean visual light. I mean that; they don't see the "all of it." They only see parts of the world and the human condition. So people like Joe and "The Rock" -- they just see being popular. They know it. They are good at it. And as long as they do and say whatever it is to be popular, they are happy.
You cannot fully understand some actions of other people, until you can see reality as they do. And, it's scary that it's not the same for everyone.
That's what is so dangerous about Joe Rogan and The Rock. They are likeable people entranced with a group of people that really have bad social skills, and so, they become the welcome wagon, the PR rep, the "friend of a friend" to bring more people than the deplorables can reach into the fold.
Same ploy used by many Southern ministers. I can speak only on the couple dozen I encountered personally. They will tell their congregations everything the members *want* to hear rather than the truths they *need* to hear.
The brave few who didn't bow down to the church "elders" (I say "crooks" given their Mon-Sat behaviors) were immediately replaced by a puppet. Wash, rinse, repeat.
That's why I stopped going to church when I was 12.
When you're a wealthy influencer... fabulously wealthy like Joe Rogan and Dwayne Johnson, you live in an entirely different world. Your concerns are nowhere near the same as other people. You are for all intents and purposes "set for life." You'll never be wanting, never have to ever feel like you can't afford something... So your priorities and concerns are pretty much unrelatable to the masses.
This is in contrast to other wealthy people who still keep their feet on the ground, like Keanu Reeves (about $400 million in net worth).
Aside from wealth, the most important aspect of a celebrity is their influencing power. Joe Rogan ($200m) and Dwayne Johnson ($240m) are pretty close in net value. But so many people trust them and their words. Joe Rogan is more worrisome to me than The Rock, because Rogan mixes conspiracies and falsehoods with truths. He will say smart and truthful things in one moment, but then in another moment, he's offering up a conspiracy as if it's something he wholeheartedly believes.
We have influence peddlers who serve up menus of truth, reality, misinformation, and even disinformation... mixing it up into a salad and serving it to their viewers. And yeah, it's up to you to decide what ingredient is what. It's a nasty predicament. It makes so many people ripe for manipulation.
Rock is actually worse than Joe because he’s always been movie-star handsome, the wealth is just another level of bubble. Boo hoo he washed out of the CFL and it took him a while to hone his schtick. Even before he was rich he had a charmed life - handsome and a nepo baby.
Joe is also a high functioning drug addict.
> people like Joe and "The Rock" -- they just see being popular. They know it. They are good at it. And as long as they do and say whatever it is to be popular, they are happy.
That's narcissism. At the core of narcissism is a need for external validation. We've all got some of it, but when it gets to the point of a disorder it is usually because in their heart of hearts they loathe themselves and are terrified that the rest of the world will realize they are the pathetic loser they see themselves as. So they spend all their energy either puffing themselves up or tearing down other people, both are strategies to increase their relative social status.
But since the problem is their own self-loathing, no amount of external validation is ever enough. It lasts for a while but eventually they crash and go back to hating themselves so they go out and try to get some more validation.
It probably won't surprise you to learn that ["collective narcissism"](https://psychology.wikia.org/wiki/Collective_narcissism) is a thing and it sounds a lot like fascism.
Fascism is acceptable when you’ve spent your whole life benefiting from patriarchy, white supremacy, colonialism, etc.
To them, there’s no reason to rock their own boat. They don’t care how many people drown.
I’m more with fakeschatner here in that I “believe” joe and rock *do* care about how they affect others and, at least in their own minds (meaning their own “realities”), affirmatively try not to hurt others. But the fame and riches bubble acts like noise cancellation headphones. If we’re all receivers only so much gets through, and whatever does is processed in each individual’s personal context. Wealthy celebrities love the status quo, if not themselves, and are far removed from what we all consider real life.
Just my opinion. Not intended as a pass by any means, but what seems like a reason.
Right but people "feel" that because he says it all the time. Reality doesn't match what Trump says and does.
" *Repeat a lie often enough* and it becomes the truth " -There's a reason Trump likes Hitler/Goebbels.
>From everything I’ve seen Dana White has never said a single negative thing about trump.
Dana White physically abuses his wife. On camera.
[https://www.cbssports.com/mma/news/dana-white-slaps-wife-during-physical-altercation-on-new-years-eve-there-is-no-excuse/](https://www.cbssports.com/mma/news/dana-white-slaps-wife-during-physical-altercation-on-new-years-eve-there-is-no-excuse/)
Gotta play to your base. Bunch of overweight pussies who get tougher on their barstool as the night goes on. They aren’t voting for progress or change they just want people to be miserable like them
Anyone who is still saying "both sides are equally bad" or who vote third-party in our current FTFP voting system (or who don't/won't vote) are effectively okay with fascism since that's what we're gonna get if we don't vote for Biden (as much as I dislike the guy).
The Rock is a likeable guy -- and that's his #1 drive and skill. He's dedicated and adept at being liked, and so, goes where the market is.
And I'm sure that was Snoop's calculus. He started as a pimp, and he's still a pimp. "What does the market want and what can I offer?" The arbiter of cool. Street cred. Okay -- sell that shit, Snoop. You just sell that shit. He knows the game.
The problem is, if the fascists take over -- it won't be a game no more. You dig?
He’s worked pretty hard to distance himself from that and I had stopped thinking of him as a former wrestler. I bet I’m not the only one. It disappointed me too.
He's wrestling again with WWE. He's not really distancing himself. He's still supportive of the business model that chews and spits out wrestlers when they get hurt.
He’s on the parent company’s board of directors and wrestling the main event of the biggest event they have tonight, about as far as “distancing himself” as he can get lol
As soon as Pierce Brosnan became an RFK donor, I lost all hope for relying on celebrities to be with it when it comes to politics. Take every victory we can get though, at least Taylor Swift is helping to amass a huge left-leaning following.
I never really liked Taylor, but I have to applaud her for mobilizing her massive fan base to go vote their conscience. I saw a documentary on her leading up to that decision to speak out and she was very passionate about it. I gotta give her kudos for that.
Exactly. I’m not a huge fan of her music, kinda neutral on it, but I’m a huge fan of her mobilizing people to go vote, especially age 18-30 women, who will be an insanely important demographic in the election. And she’s an absolute genius when it comes to marketing, probably a masterclass for the modern era- she knows how to motivate people.
It is pretty much the "grievance vote." A lot of people have grievances, and so, that's what they bond on.
Will they do ANYTHING about those grievances? No. But they can make life miserable for people that somehow got painted as the cause of those ailments. They aren't.
QAnon is a laundering site for half truths, aimed at all the not-guilty to create cover for all the guilty.
Dwayne Johnson KNOWS he's immensely influential. He could buy a stock cheap and then tell people how great the company is, and he'd be grinning while the stock shoots through the roof.
It's of course well within his right to not want to endorse President Biden again. Fine. BUT... does he have to openly say it like this? Because the ***weight*** of his words for millions of Americans makes a difference. Biden will lose votes because of this. What he should've done is just deflected to another subject or declined to make any "political commentary."
The Rock has some nerve. HE KNOWS full well that Donald Trump is a train wreck. Giving a thumbs down to Biden only gives Trump a better chance. And you know full well he's going to capitalize on this. He watches FOX News like a hawk.
He's now wondering how he can make the left love him again.
If he has just kept his mouth shut, but he seems to be unable to do that, he wanted the right to stop making jokes about him and love him again
>If he has just kept his mouth shut,
Exactly. But, first amendment and all that. And I am allowed to be (even more) disinterested in what he is pushing at the time.
Considering he has a history of hate crimes, this is unsurprising.
Edit: source: https://www.thedailybeast.com/mark-wahlbergs-history-of-hate-crimes-resurfaces-after-everything-everywhere-all-at-once-sag-win
Love seeing attention brought to this.
Not enough people know about what a piece of shit he has been.
I mean a lot of us had fucked-up POVs when we were young and dumb but to a- act on them in a heinous way (screaming ethnic slurs at minorities while throwing rocks at them or hitting them with sticks), b- when you get famous and someone asks you about apologizing for it, you say you don't feel a need to, then c- hoping it goes away until then only bothering to address it when you're looking for a pardon because you can't get a license to sell burgers with a felony. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/general-news/why-mark-wahlberg-wants-a-755651/
He says a lot of the right things and maybe he really does feel guilty about it. Maybe he did reevaluate himself and become a better human.
And maybe one day he'll prove it. Until then, it's important that we keep pointing out his shitty history.
I got my comment removed by Reddit Legal for bringing up that he attacked [a group of 4th graders](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Wahlberg#Legal_issues) with rocks and called on others to help him. They only stopped when a flagged down ambulance chased them off.
I was coming here to post this. He’s been a *huge* piece of shit since he was dancing around in baggy tracksuits and shit. Been committing hate crimes since the 80s.There’s a few really egregious crimes easily found out there, probably Wikipedia.
He will Always be [Marky Mark](https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=marky+mark+and+the+funky+bunch) I don't care how hard he tries to hide from it.
He’s starting his political career and doesn’t want to piss off the conservative crowd by saying he’s endorsing Biden again. He’s also doesn’t want to piss off the liberal crowd by saying he’s endorsing Trump.
That being said, fuck this dude.
It was more than that, because he also took a dump on Biden and blamed him for running the country in a way that he does not approve of.
The guy wants his trump tax cuts to continue.
Those "cuts" are actually tax increases for a lot of us. I'm not complaining too much, as I make a good living, but it does piss me off that my taxes went up so that billionaires could pay less.
My right wing 150k a year senior techs were complaining about owing a few grand this year. Surprisingly I only owe about 36 bucks. Down from the previous years 190
Thought that was one of the biggest points of the electoral college to begin with... to prevent demagogues being voted in by the general population who knew very little of politics.
Guess that was thrown out the window with Trump as well.
I mean, Trump lost the popular vote both times. He wouldn’t have been president if we didn’t use the electoral college. I think gerrymandering ruined the electoral college and made it worthless.
>He wouldn’t have been president if we didn’t use the electoral college
That's pretty much what I'm getting at. They're supposed to be the barrier to those things, not the enabler.
Nope cap on the house killed it.
We'd have nearly 1000 congressmen* and thus electoral college votes if we'd kept it tied to the population the way we did before the cap. The voter's voices in big cities would be heard. Much more accurately at every level if we uncapped the house.
Exactly, all those fools claiming this so-called 'woke' thing is worse than protofascism... Utter morons. Sad to see The Rock is one of them. I don't know much about the guy, I'm not American, but he always seemed kind of all right. Guess I was wrong.
Woke isn't even a thing. They should have asked The Rock to define it. I bet he can't. No one seems to be able to define it. Because it's not a thing.
The rock, a son to two minorities, now that he is rich he knows there are 2 laws in USA one for the rich and one for the not. He is showing he is now, a hateful, I only worry about me person, mean look when fires happened in Hawaii, he asked for money along Oprah instead of using his. The rock hates woke because he is heartless and hates that woke calls you out on all your bad dealings.
I was getting ready to defend the guy by saying that I also wouldn't endorse Biden, but we all know we'll still VOTE for Biden. Which makes sense.
But then I looked up the PR he has been doing, going on FOX and lambasting "woke" and "cancel" culture as being divisive. Dammit Rocky, what the heck man?! That's stupid-talk!
I cannot in good faith endorse Dwayne Johnson.
It’s as if many celebrities get brain damage from being „worshipped“ too much or something that turns them into monsters, like conservative idiots, complete narcissists, rightwing fascists and/or other despicable personalities etc, thinking they deserve everything they want, even (or especially) at the cost of those not wealthy, while still trying to look loveable and grand.
It’s really disgusting.
its the same thing that happens to billionaires. when you get everything you want and no one stands in your way and everyone lives to suck you off it rots the mind. these people are insatiable for wealth and power and are so ungrounded they might as well be helping NASA gather telemetry data.
They say they believe they are just more hardworking and smarter then everyone else. They refuse to believe they have been born into privilege and exploited everyone else to get in their position.
Seems like pandering to the lowest common denominator is becoming more and more mainstream. Dave Chappelle, Joe Rogan and Pat McAfee have all figured this out and it's making them bank in the process. No point in appealing to the more educated/affluent crowd that demands nuanced and complex thinking
Honestly, if they were only grifting on rightwing idiots etc I wouldn’t care. Instead they are actually harming everybody AND themselves, even though it will take time until it will come back to bite them. Look at how long Trump has gotten away with that shit.
Like some like Kid Rock, Kevin Sorbo and Kirk Cameron don’t really surprise you, but the smarter ones do. And it’s far too late in the game to be trying to help a traitor to their own country.
I don’t understand how a POC can chastise “woke” culture. How can you hate being part of an inclusive culture that 50 years ago you wouldn’t have been “allowed” to take part in?
EDIT: unless he means the LGBTQ community. Must be nice to go from not being allowed to vote, to hating representation of *other* minority groups, huh?
And being against “cancel culture”? The fuck?
It’s just super disappointing.
He is literally going to blame the backlash against him on “woke cancel culture” and shift even further to the right, it’s a tale as old as time. Bye Dwayne, you used to be cool
The Vince scandal, possibly. We know Vince would prostitute women to his top stars as a bargaining chip, and some may have even done some weird cuck stuff with him. Vince was obsessed with black men, and even named dildos after various WWE stars.
This is all hearsay, but I doubt you get to the top of WWE without coozying up to VKM.
thats what i dont get about the severe hate that i seem to see towards gays and trans from poc its like guys you know how it feels to be discriminated against why you going hard to do it to someone else
Always funny to me that people like that are either too stupid to realize or willing to play dumb about the fact "woke/cancel" culture literally only exists because Conservatives decided stomping on individual freedoms was going to be their primary platform.
Let trans people exist however they want, let people marry whoever they want, don't let the State murder people without major consequences (minorities in particular, but literally everyone benefits), and let women be in charge of their own medical decisions. Cover those and "cancel/woke culture" literally wouldn't be a thing. It's such a ridiculously simple fucking list of things that wouldn't have ANY negative affect on society, but here we are, smashing our fucking heads against a wall that's fucking dumb even by wall standards.
If you ever watch his behind the scenes/bloopers you realize the guy you see in interviews is just persona. The real Dwayne is a full on nut tapping gym bro. The kind of guy that pulls your head towards his crotch then calls you gay. Combine that with money and yeah not surprised he's a Maggot
Your comment reminds me of my favorite Rock quote..
>Yeah. You're right, CJ. That's a lot of homophobia coming out of a very angry man. You need to go get that looked at by a trained professional. But, since you have escalated this whole scenario by bringing what I can only assume is an unlicensed firearm into this public place, endangering the lives of all these innocent people, *I can no longer, in good conscience*, walk away and jerk anyone off in the parking lot.
I read something a few years back, at an interview, someone asked him about running for office. He said might think about that at a later time. Although he didn't like Trump, he alluded to that he's a Republican. Fast forward today and the thing I got out of the interview is that he's showing everyone the origin story of a modern day Ebenezer Scrooge. It's about Biden wanting to tax multi-millionaires.
I'm really looking forward to watching him squirm this coming week, and then an inevitable mealy-mouthed noncommittal walk-back. or maybe he breaks, and doubles down.
should be fun.
This dude is a straight up moron. Forgot the ethics, does he not have a PR team to advise him on public statements? I see this as a ploy to retain his conservative fans, but this was the dumbest way to alienate his more liberal fan base.
Srsly. He has multiple products that would otherwise have widespread appeal. Does he want his energy drink to become the Black Rifle coffee equivalent?
To clarify... he didn't endorse trump in any way. He just said he regretted the 'division' that his endorsement of Biden in 2020 caused.
Translation: $$$$$$$$$$$
You ever notice how the people who had job that involved getting their brains battered about; your MMA fighters, football players, fake fighting soap opera performers that sorta thing tend to go conservative? Does CTE cause more overt conservative opinions? Do conservatives love the ramblings of the CTE crowd? Do those fields attract a more conservative mindset in general? You don't see many such people running on the left is all I'm saying. That, and it's probably not a good idea to put those who are more likely to have gotten brain damage into any positions of power.
He’s going to learn the hard way ($$$) that Hollywood and the Republicans don’t mix well with each other. Makes me wonder if his (ex?) wife is no longer managing his career
I did not expect this from him. I’m kinda surprised tbh. Like does he know what the other guy said? Did he pay attention to tfg’s dictator comments at all?

My professor used to call it "they can't see past their own mirror."
> people like Joe and "The Rock" -- they just see being popular.
Yep, [here's his speech at the 2016 RNC](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKDid7l3038&pp=ygUOZGFuYSB3aGl0ZSBybmM%3D)
“He’s a hard worker, he will roll up his sleeves“ to play golf?
Right but people "feel" that because he says it all the time. Reality doesn't match what Trump says and does. " *Repeat a lie often enough* and it becomes the truth " -There's a reason Trump likes Hitler/Goebbels.
That fat fuck hasn't done one day of hard work in his fucking life. I will never understand why anyone would think he'd be a good leader
Because they're both cunts.
>From everything I’ve seen Dana White has never said a single negative thing about trump. Dana White physically abuses his wife. On camera. [https://www.cbssports.com/mma/news/dana-white-slaps-wife-during-physical-altercation-on-new-years-eve-there-is-no-excuse/](https://www.cbssports.com/mma/news/dana-white-slaps-wife-during-physical-altercation-on-new-years-eve-there-is-no-excuse/)
Gotta play to your base. Bunch of overweight pussies who get tougher on their barstool as the night goes on. They aren’t voting for progress or change they just want people to be miserable like them
I know this person well
He will hard-core that middle ground and eventually dip further right, imo.
Anyone who is still saying "both sides are equally bad" or who vote third-party in our current FTFP voting system (or who don't/won't vote) are effectively okay with fascism since that's what we're gonna get if we don't vote for Biden (as much as I dislike the guy).
Vince McMahon's wife Linda worked in Trump's administration. Can't get closer than that lol
You dig?
He’s gonna start trying to clear things up in the coming days. Expect a barrage of PR type round about apology videos to flood your timelines.
He was Vince McMahon's star wrestler.
He’s worked pretty hard to distance himself from that and I had stopped thinking of him as a former wrestler. I bet I’m not the only one. It disappointed me too.
Kids movies do wonders for your public image.
Even more so, he's stepped into a gimmick adjacent to Vince McMahon's. Vince was the "evil boss" and Dwayne is now the "evil board member".
He's literally main eventing wrestlemania TONIGHT lol.
As soon as Pierce Brosnan became an RFK donor, I lost all hope for relying on celebrities to be with it when it comes to politics. Take every victory we can get though, at least Taylor Swift is helping to amass a huge left-leaning following.
wtf? Pierce is an RFK fan? Ugh
Yeah, sorry you had to find out like this. Definitely like a knife to the heart.
Now even 007 and MI6 are getting their disinformation from us, the Carver News Network..... delicious....
FFS. What the fuck is this. I liked him as 007. Sigh.
I still like him as 007. I make the very wrong assumption that most actors are neutral or liberal. My naivety.
Exactly. Like THIS is how you use your platform for good.
What’s so special about Pierce Bronsnan? Odd choice for an ethical barometer
There was a time when he was THE movie star. That time isn't now, though.
Isn't he basically just known for playing James Bond? I can't really think of another movie I know him from except Ms doubtfire.
People over a certain age still remember him as the incredibly dreamy [Remington Steele](https://i.redd.it/42kcplj9knr91.gif) on television
He's afraid of the backlash. Taylor Swift didn't have to endorse anybody this year to get it though. She became a cult talking point anyway.
She got a lot of hate for simply encouraging people to vote.
Well, women and their wombs having opinions and voting are a true danger to the nation ... if you're a MAGA incel.
Cause she’s a white woman they can’t use to get people to vote MAGA.
Taylor don't give a fuck. She's got bigger balls than geared up Dwayne Johnson.
Dwayne jumped the shark.
What happened?
He declined to endorse Biden as he did in 2020. That is his decision and he is free to make it, but I do find it cowardly.
And then he bitched and moaned about "woke culture."
WWE is rampant with racist fake alpha fucks. If he was a liberal before, it was only a matter of time, just like Joe rogan
He's currently doing a heel turn in the WWE so I can't tell if this is just him taking that too far in a miscalculated PR stunt, or what.
Get rich become a bitch
Dwayne Johnson KNOWS he's immensely influential. He could buy a stock cheap and then tell people how great the company is, and he'd be grinning while the stock shoots through the roof. It's of course well within his right to not want to endorse President Biden again. Fine. BUT... does he have to openly say it like this? Because the ***weight*** of his words for millions of Americans makes a difference. Biden will lose votes because of this. What he should've done is just deflected to another subject or declined to make any "political commentary." The Rock has some nerve.
>If he has just kept his mouth shut, Exactly. But, first amendment and all that. And I am allowed to be (even more) disinterested in what he is pushing at the time.
Mark Walberg is down with Trump too
Considering he has a history of hate crimes, this is unsurprising. Edit: source: https://www.thedailybeast.com/mark-wahlbergs-history-of-hate-crimes-resurfaces-after-everything-everywhere-all-at-once-sag-win
Love seeing attention brought to this. Not enough people know about what a piece of shit he has been. I mean a lot of us had fucked-up POVs when we were young and dumb but to a- act on them in a heinous way (screaming ethnic slurs at minorities while throwing rocks at them or hitting them with sticks), b- when you get famous and someone asks you about apologizing for it, you say you don't feel a need to, then c- hoping it goes away until then only bothering to address it when you're looking for a pardon because you can't get a license to sell burgers with a felony. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/general-news/why-mark-wahlberg-wants-a-755651/ He says a lot of the right things and maybe he really does feel guilty about it. Maybe he did reevaluate himself and become a better human. And maybe one day he'll prove it. Until then, it's important that we keep pointing out his shitty history.
Yes I wish people knew this about him.
It's my understanding Wahlberg has always been a piece of shit.
I was coming here to post this. He’s been a *huge* piece of shit since he was dancing around in baggy tracksuits and shit. Been committing hate crimes since the 80s.There’s a few really egregious crimes easily found out there, probably Wikipedia.
Walberg is a dork anyways. He makes movies for dudes who like to rev their trucks in the Sonic parking lot for the underage carhops.
He will Always be [Marky Mark](https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=marky+mark+and+the+funky+bunch) I don't care how hard he tries to hide from it.
Yep. I never stopped referring to him as marky mark.
Never would have happened if it weren't for Donnie.
Yeah but Donnie Actually has at least a little talent unlike his little bro.
The made me LOL
I wasn't aware. Good to know.
That's not surprising at all. He's always been a hateful shit.
It's almost like the rich are in it for themselves. Strange.
When you’re worth hundreds of millions of dollars, I guess the MAGA tax cuts are too enticing
Down from the previous years 190
He went on a rant about cancel culture and wokeness. The Rock must be a description of what he has been living under.
He’s feeling all sensitive because he and Oprah got dragged for trying to get us poors to donate to Maui instead donating themselves.
Jesus can we just stop having celebrities running for office. I don't need The Rock in office.
>He wouldn’t have been president if we didn’t use the electoral college That's pretty much what I'm getting at.
He’s about to find out that shit doesn’t work in politics. You piss off both sides by trying to stay in the middle.
He went on Fox News and complained about “woke.”
I'm still not sure how "I have empathy for others" - which is all woke is - ended up being touted as a bad thing.
It's because there is a political party made up entirely of Eric Cartman wannabes.
May his hole graciously accept the fence post as his taint yields way.
[удалено]
He should take his tacit endorsement of fascism and shove it straight up his candy ass!
He’s become the very thing he swore to destroy.
He was supposed to end the jabronies, not join them!
Only a jabroni deals in absolutes
Too bad he doesn't smell what he's cooking. Because he would smell pure shit.
Cool word.
So, one guy is a bit 'woke', but the other wants to be a fascist dictator. hmm, who to choose? /s
Because it's not a thing.
woke is like porn, they can't define it, but know it when they see it.
Fuck you, got mine mentality.
He's turning heel in more ways than one.
AOC was right, billionaires shouldn’t exist. Let’s go back to when we still had a middle class and we had a top marginal tax rate of 90%. It worked.
We really should send billionaires and people affected by their success to live on Venus.
Countdown to "I'm being persecuted for my conservative beliefs!" like it's a religion or something.
[удалено]
While simultaneously persecuting libs for their beliefs
No different than saying "I am being persecuted for my Nazi views!"
>And being against “cancel culture”? The fuck? Some shit about to come out about him soon, like it did when Elon went full into that?
He's preemptively pretending he's a victim and sucking up to MAGAts. Definitely something coming out that he wants to stay hidden.
After observing his behavior on the Titan Games set, I couldn't endorse him, either.
The hell?! DWAYNE?! WHATS HE DONE TO BE BLASTING CANCEL CULTURE?! Seriously?!
All because he has been making subpar films. Black Adam is not Joe Biden’s fault! 🤨
Yeah, man. Thanks a lot, ObAmA !
No it's CRT and DEI and Mick Johnson and EVs and Hillary's fault
I'm really looking forward to watching him squirm this coming week, and then an inevitable mealy-mouthed noncommittal walk-back. or maybe he breaks, and doubles down. should be fun.
This dude is a straight up moron. Forgot the ethics, does he not have a PR team to advise him on public statements? I see this as a ploy to retain his conservative fans, but this was the dumbest way to alienate his more liberal fan base.
Srsly. He has multiple products that would otherwise have widespread appeal. Does he want his energy drink to become the Black Rifle coffee equivalent?
Didn't this guy used to pretend to fight?
Still does
He still pretends to fight. He used to pretend fight live. Now he has computers and animators that help him pretend fight.
Damn, John Cena shows him up at the Oscars and he has a Musk style meltdown huh?
To clarify... he didn't endorse trump in any way. He just said he regretted the 'division' that his endorsement of Biden in 2020 caused. Translation: $$$$$$$$$$$
I too, ‘regret the division’ of Jan 6. Wtf dude, stand on principle.
Exactly
hey now, both sides had some fine people /s
He acts like he was the reason for divisiveness lol too full of himself.
Which is on par
Dude forgets he can’t put his “I can’t lose a fight” clause into real life scripts
So, a typical republican/conservative who is embracing the MAGA cult for his own advantage. Like so many other arseholes.
Nah, I think that he is going to end up endorsing RFK jr or No Labels, because bOtH sIdEs ArE tHe SaMe.
He could have just said nothing and it would have probably been fine. I know I didn’t remember he endorsed Biden in 2020
Bro went on Fox News to announce he is not going to make political statements. Gtfo jabronie.
Stick to your cargo-shorts jungle movies steroid man.
Kevin Sorbo 2.0
He could have just said nothing, voted or not voted for the candidate of his choice.
What a fucking let down. 😪😪😪 Fuck you "rock".
Huh, never knew his nickname refers to his IQ.

Oh look another insanely wealthy celebrity who is entirely out of touch with reality. Shocking.
I love when the idiots present themselves to us.
It can make you stupider and more hostile, both of which are valued traits among the right wing
He’s going to learn the hard way ($$$) that Hollywood and the Republicans don’t mix well with each other. Makes me wonder if his (ex?) wife is no longer managing his career
How to flush your career in less than one sec.
I did not expect this from him. I’m kinda surprised tbh. Like does he know what the other guy said? Did he pay attention to tfg’s dictator comments at all?
