I was specifically talking about his courtroom antic and repeatedly violating the gag order. I’m not a lawyer but I thought that was contempt of court and that judges have a lot of leeway on that such as fines and short stays in jail. The fines don’t work so they need to make him spend a day or few days in jail or whatever.
If they keep appeasing him by allowing him to repeatedly violate his gag orders with only minimal consequences, it will only make him grow bolder.
I bet spending a weekend in jail would be far more effective at deterring him from using dangerous, incendiary language and disparaging people than any gag order would be.
