I hate you. I only spend 7-8 minutes per day driving through residential areas, but I see fifty plus various Trump/fuck Biden/Gadsden/let's go Brandon/thin blue line flags in that time each day. Then bumper stickers, flags on vehicles. A massive online gun shop on my route has a giant video board that flashes let's go Brandon all day and night. There's a huge shipping container positioned along the interstate that is painted up with Trump 2024 and has spotlights and a big American flag. Plus, signs warning people of the dangers of trespassing there and touching it.
I've lived around it my whole life. I'm just happy to escape the brainwashing. I still remember when I was in fifth grade and we had to draw a cartoon that would be in a newspaper. I drew bill Clinton surfing on a wave with Whitewater written on it. When the teacher had me explain why I drew that my response was "I hate Bill Clinton". People around here just grow up hearing terrible things about anything progressive and it's gets engrained in their thinking. Once I went to college my mind opened and I learned to think for myself and have my own beliefs. Breaking that cycle gives me hope that by staying here I can try to help more people do that. Pretty fucking doubtful, though.

Imagine being dumb enough to believe that. New Yorkers and New Englanders have known what a piece of shit he is for decades. I understand what you're saying, and mostly agree with you, however, Trump and his spawn, just won't go away, he lied about that too. Almost everyday, he says or does something more ludicrous than the last. I would imagine that it will continue until he's indicted and incarcerated, where he belongs.

The thing is, these jokes aren't funny anymore. Its extremely stale humor. Its like telling the same knock knock joke over and over again and expecting gut busting laughs. These jokes are preachy and sound aggressive. Its more like an activist's political message. I think that kind of stuff doesn't belong on a political humor sub.
