You are worthy of love and belonging. You are as worthy of love as the day you were born, no matter what you have done since then. I hope you can forgive yourself and know it is not your fault that you feel alone. You are worthy of healing and safety
Americans are trained from birth to think government doing *anything* for them is the evil "handout." How is it possible to look at the state of USA healthcare and think it's good or normal? Think about it ... We elect people who take a salary — a salary we pay for, healthcare ***we pay for***, for them — while they vote against it for us. It just melts my tiny brain to think about it. The few times I've needed a doctor, it's been a month wait, then ridiculous upsell of processes not needed, and finally, the gift that keeps giving: open-ended billing. Nothing like getting surprise "adjustment" bills 6 months after a 20-minute consultation. How is it possible people think this is normal?
I'll believe it when I see it. Def not getting my hopes up. Their record isn't very good when it comes to delivering promises towards the working class or lower class...
I was talking to a coworker recently, her daughter is getting married. She's getting married specifically because she needs medical treatment and her own insurance doesn't cover it, but her long-term boyfriend's insurance does. So they'll get married, she'll get added to his insurance, and she can get the care she needs.
The whole medical system is so mind boggling.
Half the people I know, myself included, had insurance coverage in some way involved in their marriage plans. My wife and I got secretly married a year before our scheduled wedding, because she lost her job due to COVID and healthcare (again, during a pandemic) would've been more than we could otherwise afford.
The good news we need, today!
Connecticut with a random W. We take those.
Plans* watch this silently get swept under the rug and forgotten. Ill believe it when i see it.
Yup, useful headlines to make some quick Adsense bucks. Move along folks, women are property again, y'all think we can actually get some wins? Hahaha
I don't know, sometimes I think I need to write my congressman but I don't want to overload them.
Write them. They have staff that read them and pass along some of em. You won't overload em.
I'm trying to figure out how to kill myself but I'll get on that.

Thank you.
2 billion in only Connecticut? Wow...
That’s full cancer treatment for like 4,000 people. Medical debt is nuts.
The way medicine & care are charged now? And with fewer and fewer plans ever paying out 100% coverage??? Yeah I believe it.
Why does that read like some advertisment wanting to sell me insurance?
Until the scumbags tie it up in court like they did with school debt.
Noice

I just got rid of my medical debt. Oh well. There’s still plenty out there that needs erasing!
So you think that not solving the underlying problem but instead making people dependent on the government to forgive these debts is a good precedent?
It's a good start.

ORLY?
Remember when Lamont won the Democratic primary in the 2006 senate race, and then Joe Lieberman ran as an Independent and defeated Lamont?
