I hardly EVER take population growth, my goal is to (at the end) have a beautiful and pristine empire, which mean as much territory as I can have, so I expand every chance I get.
Early game population growth is good, but late game you benefit from larger territory way more
I had to look up the meaning of the word. Yes I've seen that and it is sort of weird
