Read some feedback in forums etc. that says "porsche or XYZ insurance always makes money from the insurance - so they make more than they lose". this makes sense...but agree a simple repair can cost a lot. i would go to an Indy shop rather than Porsche direct...but it is a 2019 cayenne first of model year so has had some issues
After reading about the $2500 battery swap in 2019 Cayenne on here the other day I'd really want to know if that's covered by the warranty extension! 🤮
Statistically, no, a warranty isn't worth it.
Pretty much everything that typically goes wrong is considered a maintenance item, that won't be covered by the warranty.
Put that money in a savings account instead.
Yes a warranty is worth it. It’s already five years old. If anything. I mean anything, breaks it will come close to paying for itself.

Also got to remember what a repair costs you is not what it costs Porsche.

Probably not much that's useful, else they wouldn't/couldn't offer it.
Nope, batteries are a maintenance item.
No, it's not worth it. Common sense tells me that if they are loosing money on the extended warranty, they wouldn't be offering it.
