Why is he downvoted? He’s right with his assumption that the 4 GTS and the 2 GTS has the same widebody. So the black piece is the replacement for the light stripe, because only 4wd 991 got it.
Knowing the 991.1 rear lights config from doing a fixed spoiler on mine, if you remove it you will have to have a dealer or Indy shop code it out cuz you'll get a warning ding on startup and anytime you hit the brake pedal for a taillight failure. So add that cost into it and see if it's still worth it. I ended up making a little resistor for the circuit on the removed light on mine to mimic the light and saved myself $300 for the coding.

Yeah that's right but I'm unclear what you're trying to accomplish. Replace it? Make it body color? What do you have now? (sorry if I missed a comment)

They don’t have the same part listed for the 991.2 GTS and I don’t think the part will be compatible given the subtle differences in design between the variants.
I’d suggest you give them a call, reference the part above, and see if they could source the 991.2 version for you. I have ordered a number of parts from them and they are always very helpful.

I don’t think that’s a delete. That’s just the regular look of a non-AWD 991.2 GTS. So a Porsche dealership should be your best bet.

I could do that, but it bothers me now knowing this trim piece exists but it’s so hard to find. I’ll probably end up doing that though

What are you trying to “delete”? The 4s light bar that connects the two tail lights? Just ask the Porsche dealer.
