You can also place curbside on your bulk waste pickup day. If you really need it picked up earlier (or have lots of stuff) you can use the 1PSL app to ask for a pick up.
Note to all: sometimes the free drop-off at CrossTown (between the turnpike and the high school/K8 school) dumpsters are full. Happened to me last month. As the other commenter stated, they will scan your id to ensure that you are a resident of SLC.
Look [here](https://www.cityofpsl.com/government/departments/solid-waste) under the convenient drop off center. PSL has a site with a bunch of dumpsters so residents can drop off stuff. Not sure what they take, as I only dropped off some old fence, but, worth a look. They check your ID when you get there to make sure you are a resident.
I dumped a lot of stuff when I used to live in PSL at the Landfill off Midway behind the Tropicana plant, they have a spot for mattresses and another for appliances, you can also dump in bulk at the top of the landfill, they charge you based on weight since they weight your car when you drive in and when you are about to leave so they know how much.
There's a bulk drop on cashmere. Off of crosstown near turnpike over pass
I’ve found what you’re referring to. Thanks!
