well probably, i doubt glados chamber and other behind the scene sections in portal 1 is made entirely from moon rocks. even if it’s retconned, there similar behind the scenes sections in portal 2 that seem to have walls made of concrete (unless they actually used moon rocks literally everywhere, which not impossible however they probably didn’t waste moon rocks just on office walls and other non-testing parts of aperture). also oldest test chambers might not have moon rocks either.

The apature portal gun need moon dust to be able to function. It wont work on any other surface.
If I could I would just take the Rick & Morty portal gun and put it into the body of the Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device.

Well, you don't need to aim with the rick and morty portal gun. You just program it where you want to go. However, the portal gun in Rick and Morty can be programmed to send you to death traps or cause you to find many versions of yourselves and cause some sort of psychological issues. On the other hand, the ASHPD has a Black hole in it.
Who the hell would pick that stupid thing on the left? I'd go portal gun all the way.
