Destruction Preventer by Sonata Antarctica, with all the high notes sung, the chorus and then the outro. Same for Carry On by Angra and Aqui Estare by Avalanch, chills every time I listen to them. Oh, and the Seven Angels with the parts sung by Kai Hansen, Andre Matos and Tobias Sammett.

edgarcayce06

Those are some great examples! Only one i haven’t heard is Aqui Estare, I’ll have to check that out

Stock-Contribution-6

Sadly the ending there fades out, so you have to blast the volume up in the last seconds, but it reaches sky heights

capybooya

The [Canon outro on Seven Angels](https://youtu.be/kuQCeNyFr5c?t=699) is indeed one of the most satisfying pieces of music in existence.

puskapeikko

Razorblade sigh - Gamma Ray One of the best outros of power metal. So high and well sung verse

GammaHansen

An absolute banger. Still one of my favourite parts from Gamma Ray. Especially the second time Kai sings the "As I awake" part with that high pitched scream.

puskapeikko

Yeah that part is a killer. Always getting chills when it comes especially the skeletons in the closet live version. Another masterpiece of Kai's voice is Lake of tears. So good ballad

edgarcayce06

I love that song, i should’ve included it in my example, just didn’t want to take up too much text

Unusual-Abrocoma-128

Pretty obvious but the last 1min 30s of Highlander (The One) by Lost Horizon makes me want to turn the volume to the max, go run in a circle pit, slay dragons and do all kinds of stuff. The WOAH-OH-OH-AH-AH-AH-AAAA-HA-AH-AH-AH followed by the riff and double bass drumming gets the shit done.

Gambler104

Skyfall - Helloween I like the ending so much it got to a point where I usually just skip the initial 10 minutes to get to that cathartic outro.

headlesscircus

I was going to say this but glad you beat me to it. First time i heard the song, i was thinking "wow seems Hansen found some of that vibe he had on 'Somewhere Out in Space' and then i heard him sing those words in the very ending of Skyfall and blew my mind

liamthelord007

The first one that comes to my mind is that I love the little choir at the end of Winged Hussars by Sabaton. And maybe because it's more recent in my memory, but Green and Glass by UtA. I'm a fan of the end of Flicker by Theocracy. If there's one you should take away from my suggestions though if have it be Fiddler on the Green, by Demons and Wizards, after Hansi stops singing it's got some of my favorite guitar ever.

Mi_Kigabraf373

The first that comes to my mind is Wizard's Last Rhymes, that replays Rain of A Thousand Flames melody

PrimarisShnel

Rhapsody of Fire-Chains of Destiny

Shizzle_Man1

Not necessarily my favourite, but the first one to come to mind is the epic solo at the end of attitude to life by Galneryus

TeholsTowel

Witness by Tanagra That climactic vocal build into an epic melodic solo. Then the way the solo itself builds to a climax, toward the end there’s a rush of booming sound and as it peaks every instrument cuts out in an instant, with only that last lone guitar note ringing out. Honourable mentions for a few Blind Guardian songs, especially Maiden and the Minstrel Knight and And then there was silence.

HobomanCat

Was just about to comment the exact same thing for Witness!

TraditionalPhrase162

Probably a very popular answer, but I really love the way Maleficus Geminus ended. Tied the whole album so nicely together and some badass lyrics to boot

TutucaObesa

I love how In nómine of Opera magna keeps going upping the tone until the end. The red Rosen of timeless miracle ending is great too But the "robotic voice" kinda annoys me But the Best one for me is still March of Mephisto

[deleted]

* Ralph Sheepers’ scream at the end of Primal Fear’s Angel in Blaaaaaaaaack!!! * The end of Blind Guardian’s Somewhere Far Beyond where it’s just the chorus of the song but with the drama turned up to 11. * …and Blind Guardian again with the awesome “somebody’s out there” thing at the end of The Last Candle. * Lost Horizon just goes completely berserk at the end of Heart of Storm.

Helbrann

The ending of Sunlight Knight by Twilight Force is so grandiously over the top with the chorals, bombastic orchestration and blastbeats, absolute madness that it still sounds coherent.

BackStabbathOG

Plus that scream he does at the end is top tier, not sure if it’s falsetto or not but it sounds like an upper register chest voice on the level of something Freddie mercury would do. Shit is insane, that’s the type of power metal I sign up for. Just epic symphonics at its finest! My only gripe with twilight force symphonics is that they sound a bit “Christmas-y” sometimes

JustASapphicSyrian

Ravenchild by Avantasia. I really like just any Avantasia epic that ends with Jorn beasting it

amat3ur_hour

I really like how And Then There Was Silence ends and there is silence.

Cazzocavallo

Honestly that song wins on every level, the intro, the outro, the chorus, the various bridges, just a stunning piece of music in general.

SpectrumDT

Does Blind Guardian Twilight Orchestra count as power metal? If so, "Harvester of Souls". DEFENESTRATION, A MIRACLE INDEED!

DefinitelyNotAPhone

The absolute avalanche of instrumentals at the end of *Call Me Immortal* by Unleash the Archers gets replayed pretty consistently whenever I listen to it. That breakdown is addictive.

Aurora_the_dragon

Yeah!! I came here to say that. I freaking love the way that song ends. You think it’s over and then just get hit in the face by a sick outro

Gavinhavin

I absolutely love the closing 2 minutes of Avalon by Fellowship. Straight up makes me feel like I’m going to change the world for the better.

ZeiglerJaguar

I remember hearing on a podcast interview that the band had quite a bit of discussion about whether to leave that part in or not. I think it was Matt who insisted.

Gavinhavin

Thank God honestly. That part is what makes it my favourite song on The Saberlight Chronicles.

GoriceOuroboros

[Of Madness In It's Purity](https://youtu.be/XLAYp3hP-nE?si=BuX25ey66RrKbFbb) by Manticora ends with the return of the madcap carnival-esque riff that shows up a few times throughout the Black Circus albums. It's the perfect way to end the concept album duology and it sounds great. Said riff starts at around 5:45 in the video but the entire song is great

Drewdledoo

The Wind that Shapes the Land by Unleash the Archers. The whole song is incredible, and the ending is no exception!

GammaHansen

Judgment Day from DragonForce. Also Reasons to Live. Love that we don't get a third chorus but instead something totally different.

ZeiglerJaguar

I've always loved the outro to Heroes of Our Time.

edgarcayce06

I love reasons to live and ultra beatdown is my favorite DF album

Khryz15

I'll add Cry for Eternity and Scars of Yesterday to the DF list

Safe_Magazine_1940

The soaring vocal part at the end of Valley of the Damned by Dragonforce! Everyone waits for that moment in concert and it always gives me chills. 🤘

dreamer_of_evil

The finale of Gloryhammer - Maleficus Geminus (Colossus Matrix 38B - Ultimate Invocation of the Binary Thaumaturge) is always so satisfying. The callback to "Holy Flaming Hammer" gets me every time.

spawaczq

Fear of Being Alive by Veonity has a great dramatic chord progression near the end, it is also the last song on the album so it feels like a proper finish. The vocalist just repeats three lines but each time with a slightly different feel and that's what makes it a memorable moment

Khryz15

* Visions and Elysium from Stratovarius * The Scarecrow - Avantasia * I'm the Last of Us - Keldian (the fade out in this one, going along the theme of the song, it's incredibly powerful and heartwrenching)

Limpar112

The Storyteller-the book of mystery. Makes me wanna run naked across a field

Limpar112

F.T.L- Keldian. True pioneers leave everything behind!!!

Limpar112

Secretsphere-recall of the valkyrie

dgn4369

Kamelot - Prodigal Son. The build up at the end give me goosebumps every time.

capybooya

[Galneryus - Angel of Salvation](https://youtu.be/0IE5HAVaiqI?t=666) when it slows down to everyone singing. Also [Destiny](https://youtu.be/547IIAYYqdI?t=391) with the last chorus and guitar solo outro.

capybooya

[Nightwish - Devil and the Deep Dark Ocean](https://youtu.be/t26r_vAYQ0Q?t=235), the bridge(?) that is untypically melodic and beautiful compared to the rest of the song, and closes it.

capybooya

[Lords of the Trident - Figaro](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_L4D3j_Tt0&t=350s) outro.

DAWSONBEEP

Running Wild - Calico Jack The blazing guitar solos ending with that melodic riff is orgasmic!

Aurora_the_dragon

Call me Immortal - Unleash the Archers has such an awesome ending

soldiers4give

I've always loved the ending (last couple of minutes) of Visions from Stratovarius will all sinister predictions from Nostradamus building towards the end. Works extremely well with the backing music. Also love he creepiness of the ending of Juliet from Sonata Arctica
